What's with people getting annoyed by drivers?
I have never ever been upset at anyone while driving. Sure people have cut me off (but I have done it too a few times), sometimes people drive really slow, but I tend to not be running late and an extra 5mph isn't going to really change anything in the long run anyways. Even when I got rear ended by some bitchy housewife I wasn't really mad (of course it could have been the fact that I smacked my head on the
ing windshield really hard).
Depends on where you're at, I guess. The only place I have ever seen worse drivers than the Detroit area was Houston, I think...maybe Dallas. One of the two. And the 401 through Ontario sucks at times, but it's mostly american assholes that are the root of that.
The thing I hate is that michigan doesn't really have the "left lane is for passing" thing - which I really appreciate in other states. It's pretty much a free-for-all and if it is open, you go for it. You have to drive agressively, or it is easy to miss an exit. For example, if you're on the freeway, and you signal to change lanes - even if the car in the other lane is five cars back, s/he will race up to avoid being behind you - even if you're trying to pass them for going 5 mph under.
