His name is Wally George, who had a program called "The Hot Seat" back in the 1980's. He was as archconservative as could be, but he was also so over the top he made Jerry Springer blush.
For instance, he'd have some kind of bullshit "we wish we were as cool as Motley Crue's Shout at the Devil era" buttrock band on his show, then denounce them all as communists and heathens before shooing them offstage, screaming "YOU'RE OUTTA HERE!" Repeat with hippies and other liberal stereotypes.
They played this on a local lo-fi station maybe 9-10 years ago; it came on after ECW wrestling, and before female oil boxing (and I'm not kidding!); why change the channel?
George died two or so years ago; from all accounts, this dude was totally legit in what he believed and how he behaved, but I have no idea how anyone could be convinved of that after watching his show.
