Yeah, that shit is so messed up. I must say, I am entranced by this whole Ukrainian election. To actually see a country that cares about democracy, it is amazing.

I'm from Kiev. I support Yushchenko. I hope everything goes ok back there and it doesn't get too violent. I'm unsure of whether or not I want the country to split up. It's confusing and my parents seem to be genuinely worried :\

Yeah, its similar to how the people in the US cared by having record voter turn out. I think it will only be a matter of time before some form of democracy will be embraced in China as well.

Dioxin, its a chemical found in Agent Orange and in industrial waste. His face will eventually heal and return to normal, but it will take years.

Election fraud, popular opposition candidate poisoned, Russia is warning that "outsiders shouldn't meddle"... I see Russia's hands all over this.

It's not Russia per say... It's most likely supporters of Russia within Ukraine. (aka domestic terrorism) Most of east Ukraine still have ties to Russia, hell a lot of them prefer to speak Russian to Ukrainian. It's not the best situation right now, but like I said... we can only hope for a peaceful resolution. I guess if a new state has to be formed then so be it.. as long as it's peaceful. However if the Donesk(sp?) region of Ukraine decides to break away.. it'll hurt the Ukrainian economy.. lots of agricultural goods coming from east Ukraine.
