I wouldn't recommend paying full price for Saw, but I actually just beat it this weekend and it is not bad at all. That's IMO of course and while I was anticipating Saw coming out for a while, I expected next to nothing (especially after poo poo reviews). But Saw was actually really fun. Then again, I'm a huge fan of the movies and survival horror(ish) games.

Anyways...thanks for making my night very suspenseful lol.
 
My girlfriend and I were dying to know what the package was and when we SAW what it was we were very disappointed for you. Your unboxing video was killing me, even when you finally pulled the game out it was backwards and you had to flip it I was screaming "What the fuck is it?"
 
The SAW game, itself, is actually pretty clever.

Tell them you want a refund, and that you'll keep the game.

This was actually really fun, and the unboxing/reveal video was just as awesome as I was hoping it'd be. The only thing that could've been better is if, when you opened it and realized it was saw, something inside starting playing "Never gonna give you up!" and another letter claimed it was some sort of viral marketing for Dante's Inferno. Kinda like the box that they sent one website.

I, too, was on the edge of my seat when you opened the envelope and the game came out back cover facing up.
 
I called amazon. And they were VERY helpful (and possibly made a another mistake)!

The CS rep emailed me a return label. Which on the order states to refund my money once received.

THEN... She added the "This is Vegas" pre-order back to my order. AT ZERO DOLLARS!!

Now I have another waiting game!! To see if I get credited back for the charge and the game remains at zero dollars...

Why can't Amazon ever fuck up my orders?
 
On one hand this is a fairly amusing thread, on the other hand it's kind of upsetting as well. I like to preorder games sometimes months in advance before I have the money to pay for them because I know I'll have it by launch. I don't know what I'd do if Amazon randomly charged me for a game that wasn't coming out for months and sent me something I didn't want.
