If an illegal alien murders somebody in the States, the solution is to deport them?
OK.
Is another country going to give the accused a "fair trial"?
If you were a witness to the crime, would you travel to the other country to give testimony?
Here's the scenario I see:
Juan V kills Suzy Q.
The cops catch Juan V.
Rather than process Juan V, he is sent back to Central America.
The Central American government couldn't care less about Suzy Q. They'd rather let Juan V out of jail after a generous donation from Juan V's employer.
Juan V sneaks back into the US.
Juan V kills Suzy R.
It just doesn't seem effective.
