I feel so retarded watching Project Runway but I can't help but love the show. Plus I got to hear Heidi Klum say the greatest thing ever. "Her model looked like she was pooing out fabric."
What are you talking about? No way they can mess this up. It is right down Hollywood's alley, and I have faith in the director.
I'm extremely wary of book --> movie adaptations. When I went to see Harry Potter 5, I literally had too look away from the screen for over half of the movie.

Sorry Casey, but that made me laugh.

R&C for the PS3 is sweet.

Also, the Uncharted Demo is money. I thought it would be anothe rgeneric action game but the climbing and jumping puzzles are actually fun.

Really? I enjoyed it. Though they could have cut out the first 80% and I would have been fine.

To me it seems like it's going the GoW/300 route with just over the top violence and little plot to just enjoy yourself.

Seems more like a summer movie.

You are comparing the adaptation of a 50 page poem to that of an 800 page book. Beowulf has all of three important scenes (Grendel fight, Grendel's mom fight, Dragon fight).

Man, Rock Band has a shitload of downloadable content.

Exactly. That is all Beowulf is. It is just about some bad ass old man kicking ass. This isn't fucking Shakespeare people.

When I heard about N.I.B. and Queen Bitch, I damn near pissed myself. Buddy Holly is really nice - I imagine that one will be fun to play - that kinda goofing-around fun.

Oh, $250 gift card...I may have the perfect use for you...

There he goes.

I'd get rock band.

But I have no friends *sniff*

I dunno, I think Rock Band may sell well at first but kinda fall off. My friend who's a super expert on GH and in an actual band has zero interest in it. And none of his band mates have interest in it either. It's just too much work. They'd rather actually practice on real music as a group than practice on fake music.

My concern is that all these people are gonna shell out $150+ and play for a little bit. And then it'll just gather dust. Like, it's really only good for dorm rooms and that's it.

At least that's my impression. Only ultra hardcore and dorm mates for a year migh try it. But GH can be picked up and played by anyone individually.

I guess you could still get Rock Band and play that individually too, but that seems somewhat self defeating.

Meh, I still have zero interest in it.

Another reason why I loathe book-->movie adaptations is because I fuckin' hate having someone else's view of the setting and characters, because I feel they interfere with my view.
I can't even listen to fiction audio-books for that reason.
Here, I am.
You know, my son does the same thing when he enters someone's house; he announces "Okay, I'm here!"

Arrogant little brat, but I secretly love it every time he does that...

Blah. Could have made much better selections.

I think that is kinda the point - it's not for real musicians.

Did you see that Penny Arcade strip about Photoshop Hero? That's what I go through with Pixie. If there was a drawing game, I'd kick her ass at it, but I wouldn't have any interest in playing it, because I can actually draw.

Just like how I shoot aliens all the time, so I get bored playing Halo...
Nigga, you read too much.
Probably.

I get in about 200 pages a week of reading, I think. Not as much as I would like, but I'm too busy to read more.

I have feelings of camaraderie for you too, big fella.

Go With The Flow would have been nice, especially since it seems like they only wanted to go with singles. They should have tossed No One Knows in there if they were gonna pick a song that's already been in guitar hero (3's and 7's).
As I (wish I had) said to Strell while waiting for Pancake before a Starcraft game: Beowulf is going to fight that dragon from the top of a mountain all the way to the bottom of a valley. An uncanny valley.
oh boy...

Right, but they all love Guitar Hero.

Anywho, off to bed.

It's essential unless you live near to work and everything you need or if you have great public transportation, Mox. =p

About the hopeless part? Nope.

Check that lancer evo thread.

I thought TMK was like 26....

I like the guy, but I think he'll have some sort of nervous brakedown at 30. Unless he can somehow get his life together by then. God, I don't want to end up like that guy.

EDIT: Oh. Here I am thinking he isn't very familliar with cars. He has one (somehow) and a permit.
