I agree with this. My situation is complicated (and I'm sure sood can back me up on this), because all film/video/TV work that we do is contractor work. That's to say, I'm paid as an independent contractor without taxes withheld. I opt to get a refund because in the case that I do a lot of contract work, I have to pay all those taxes at the same time, and would just come out of my refund.
I guess I could throw that money into a CD, I'll likely be moving from a 0 to a 1 on my exemptions next year.
