Protip: if I wanted to watch Smackdown, I'd watch Smackdown. It's 9:30, and this Raw has been 90% Smackdown stuff and 10% SuperOrton.

At least I can watch The Chaperone soon. That'll help quell my annoyance.

First time seeing Broadus Clay and my immediate reaction was

WWE Films make the first run features on the Lifetime Movie Network look like fuckin' Academy Award winners.

....um, not that I'd know what kind of movies are on LMN. Or even that it's called LMN.

...

shit.

Well when you think about it, Sunny's the original diva and she was a big part, in my opinion, of the transition into the attitude era. She actually served a purpose, too; she was a real manager instead of the divas of today whose jobs are to not wear lot and that's it.

Edit: First thing Cole has ever done that I agree with.

Oh man, greatest picture ever when I was Google searching for the TNA Championship...

Even Jeff Hardy is disgusted with Jeff Hardy.

I think the crowd agreed. There was only like 1 guy booing in the entire crowd.

Man that TE ad has me reasonably excited. Reminded me how TE was actually quite entertaining prior to NXT and the "Million Dollar Tough Enough" crap. Surprised to see Hugh Morrus is a trainer again, but it's fine with me, he was good on there. Austin should be hilarious as well.

He looks like that dude in the "It's bronzer" beer commercial.

Nearly every major wrestling belt design of at least the last 5 years has been trash, it's hardly unique to the current TNA belt.

It's certainly the crowning achievement of crap though.

WTF is with the all "here's what happened last week" crap this week. I swear they're jumping to it EVERY 5 minutes.

The way he said "Whoever signs this will be the ref". Do I smell a Stunner and Stone Cold as ref?

I don't think I've ever had such a non-reaction for a returning top-level wrestler that I was completely unspoiled on.

I don't know about "nearly every," but I certainly have a special disdain for custom titles no matter who's carrying them.

Speaking of things I disdain, here's JBL.

Was the WWE working the dirt sheets with the Austin as special guest referee or was there a last minute change to JBL? Excellent swerve, I love it.

Didn't catch that, hmm... guess we'll find out in a minute.

I find it amusing that the last time these 2 were together, they were announcing on SD and JBL would just constantly say "Shut up, Michael Cole."

JBL was a fantastic announcer.

I'll take it. Even in a non-wrestling capacity the Rock and Stone Cold are more entertaining than anyone on the WWE's roster currently.

I CALLED IT!

Am I the only one who was more interested when it was JBL as the ref?

Autsin (what?) just seems sort of boring, and it stacks the deck too far in Lawler's favor.

If nothing else, I'm curious if they do anything since they have Rock and Autsin (fuck it, that's his name now) on the same WM.
