I'm about to send the payment via amazon and is it the same if I just send it to you with the payment method as if I turned money into a GC and gave you the GC code?

 
No idea how to cancel it unless I want to spend some time talking to support and canceling payments seems like it would be a hassle. Maybe I'm missing a cancel button though :D

Once a payment has been initiated, it cannot be canceled. The seller or business you submitted payment to can issue a refund if necessary. If you used a bank account to submit your payment, you must wait 5-7 business days (not including weekends or holidays) for the payment to complete before the merchant can initiate a refund.
 
I used a bank account so seems we are waiting :D
 
Edit: With those being the rules I say you are safe to ship as there is no way we can cancel it and only you can refund.
