I got a code yesterday and today I finally got to play Titanfall for PC.  Some great things about the game...the first couple of ranks (levels) you get new load outs - both as a soldier and a titan.  The pace is very fast, so far I've only played attrition.

I think the better the PC you have, the better the gameplay.  I'm always first to load up in the aircraft waiting for others to show up.

So far 2 year old PC is doing stellar in the game.  My specs"

i5 3570K overclocked to 4.6 GHz.  CPU-Z reports my CPU clocks at about 4.55 GHz in a game session.

32 GB RAM

Twin Nvidia 670 GTX with latest drivers in SLI Mode

Installed on my 7200 RPM Drive - Not SSD.  I had first installed on SSD but the load times are no different after moving to the 7200 RPM drive.

Windows 8.1

Graphic Options 1920x1200

AA 16xQ CSAA

V-Sync Triple Buffer

Field of View 90

Texture Filtering Anisotropic 16X

Lighting Quality High

Shadows High

Effects Detail High

Model Detail High

Impact Marks High

Ragdolls High

The 10 minute tutorial is fantastic, otherwise I'd be lost on how to play.  The tutorial runs through as a soldier and as a titan.  I noticed a lot of people probably didn't go through the tutorial so I was able to use missles and sliding a lot in my titan to crush the enemies.

One of the coolest things is you can try and aim to get your titan and it will fall on another titan if you can time things right.

Who else has tried this.

If you want to play games together my username on origin is s0undwav3

Nice specs sir, sadly I have to upgrade my video card before the game comes out and nividia did release some cards today so I'll be looking into upgrading in that department. Still getting some issues with performance on the beta.

My specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 960 T Black Edition (unlocked to six cores at 3.4)
Asus M5A78L-M LX PLUS mobo
8 gbs of DDR 3 Kingston Hyper X ram
Evga GTX 550 TI 1gb DDR 5
750w OCZ Fatality edition power supply
Cooler Master HAF 922 case
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

My Origin ID is Boricua0082,feel free to add me to play.

I am also running the game from my Apple Macbook Pro booted into Windows 8.1

It has an Nvidia 650 GTX Mobile card along with an Intel Graphics 4000 integrated video.

Windows 8 uses both so I am also getting very good (40+ fps) on 1440x900 display.  But I set some settings to medium and low.

So the 6xx Series Nvidia cards are doing very well with this game, even though I think it's optimized for ATI since that's what's inside the Xbox One.  Since Windows 8 core is running on Xbox One, I believe the PC version is nearly the same...all running DirectX 11 native.

I was working so didn't have a chance in the beta, what are people's thoughts on my specs for this:

12 gigs of ram, i5 2500k @ 3.30 and GTX 670 on Win 7 64.

You'll be fine. Almost identical to mine except I've only got 8GB's of RAM. I was able to run the game with insane settings without issue.

Hey Guys,

anyone looking for a much cheaper launch price for Titanfall for PC can be found at direct2play for $45.79  No taxes, direct download on the day of launch.

I thought I'd wait off a bit but now that I've seen more titans and the monsters I'm more excited after the beta and they seemed to have responded a lot to the feedback they got after the beta for PC players.

And I got the key in less than 4 hours after purchase.  I've already pre-loaded the game.  Very good company.  The game is a whopping 50 GB.  Takes a long time to download, Origin isn't the best download client out there that's for sure.

Got my code from GMG yesterday afternoon and started playing that same evening. Servers appear to be down now sadly, as they ramp up to get the game servers ready.

Anyone want to put together an Origin ID list so that us CAGs can play together?

Been playing all last night and all day today. I'm up to level 46. I hopped in a game earlier and two guys were already about to hit fourth prestige. Pretty insane.

Surprised this thread died like it did. Does anyone still play on the PC? I should have my kingpin card in the next few days and plan to get back on titanfall then.

This game is totally dead. The first week was excellent, then Respawn put out patch after patch that killed some game modes and the community. Now you're going to be waiting 10+ minutes to find a game if it's not between the hours of like 7PM-8PM. I wouldn't be surprised if there were less than 1000 people playing.

That's how it was a few weeks ago for story mode, but the other wasn't long at all.  Sucks they killed it like they did.  I guess I know now to stay away from online only games for a few months and to not buy the CE of them.

still play this game, it's fun, it's random people, built a clan with people I always play with and dominate.  great thing now is the customization of lots of titans and pilots (i think up to 8 different configs that you can save as profiles) and all the new stuff coming is just making the game better.  i tried to play the new battlefield hardline but it seemed so slow compared to titanfall.

I'd like to go back and play some of the co-op campaign only it seems dead.  I would have thought with the game being free this weekend it wouldn't be.  I'm glad that was the one thing I did do when the game came out.
