(Yes, this originally contained a GameTZ link out of lack of knowing about the CAG trade in which I sincerely apologize for, this topic will be gone as soon as I get the chance to move it to the trading board)

You douche. First off, no CAG is going to sell a game like that for $8. That's why we have this site. The trades you are offering are shitty in comparison, price-wise, and then to top it all off, you want to use gametz as an intermediary, as if CAG is not sufficient. Pffft.

-My apologies, I did not know about iTrader as I -just- came here... I was just referred here to look for Astonishia because no one on GameTZ was offering it

2. Those games still sell for $40

-The only one that's even considerably close is a brand new copy of Astonishia, and I'm looking for one used, which, still, does not match your assumed price.

BTW, champ, GoC and PoPoLoCrois are both $24.99 at EB(sold out there, which is why I'm searching online anyway), your measures are a good 35% off in pure error.

3. You're games sell for $20 or less

-No. My games trade for $20 or less.

4. You are an idiot.

-Judging by the way you act towards a new user, I'd say you've no room to throw around such conjectures, especially considering that's a case you can't prove as you know nothing about me. Even still, if we're to go into random and un-called for attacks, your grammar and maturity would get quite the lashing.

The reason I'm doing this is because I've already beaten those games, and see a lot of cases where people are stuck with 1-3 of those games they think are abysmal, so I want to offer them something much higher in quality/rating since a lot of them bought it new and, by doing so, would get much less in trade in value anyway.

Wow, you jump to conclusions a lot. Just so you don't look like a total ass in the future, I suggest you start considering other options:

1) I didn't come to give an exact price equivalent, I came to offer games that are superb in rating/quality for games lesser in rating/quality.
2) While they may not willingly sell for $8, who else do you see here willing to buy those games for any more than that, especially given the horrid marks they're receiving? Just searching for those three, I see that all 3 are generally being ignored/ridiculed on CAGs trading service, while the games I listed as a trade for them are of such popularity and high acclaim that I didn't even have to search for them.
3) I made no notion(whatsoever) to CAG being inefficient, nor did I say anything about it being an inferior to GameTZ, if anything, the only questionable aspect here would be where in the world you get off thinking that you can just assume unknown variables. At the time of post, I was totally uninformed that there was even any kind of CAG trading source, and was sent here with only the information that this site would grant a few price resources.

A war of verbal abuse is hardly what I came here for... I pray you've got better things to do.

When is it acceptable to be a prick like Ender did? I am wondering and don't want to step on peoples toes.

Sadly enough, for some people, taking any chance they can get to try to prove superiority over someone by being such a prick is the biggest kick they'll get out of life.

When people are clearly deserving of being ridiculed. In this case, it's perfectly acceptable.

Perhaps the most annoying thing about this is that it comes off as spam since he's a newbie and he's saying "oh, let's do everything via gametz.com."

Actually no one deserves to be flamed for making an offer. You guys could have simply informed him that the trade values of his games were less than the games he was asking for, but instead went on a rampages with your normal non-sensical newbie bashing. No one deserves to be call a douche or a prick. His only problem is posting in the wrong forum and overvaluing his games, hardly gounds for the ridiculous insults and language.

He edited out most of what he originally said. Not only THAT, he added more games to his tradelist even after he was told this is not a trading forum in any way.

Only douches and pricks think that nobody deserves to be called a douche or a prick. And his problem wasn't just his ridiculous trade list or posting in the wrong forum... of course the original post is edited now so you can't see that.

Why would I assume that someone else knows more about game values than I after they consecutively provide 2 inaccurate price figures?

No, I removed the GameTZ link, because I didn't know there was a CAG trading service and thought it would be disrespectful and insulting to leave it there.

No, I didn't come to offend anyone. I simply didn't know CAG had a trading service when I came here, and thought it'd be totally outrageous to expect someone to be able to trade without some sort of security, so I recommended we trade over GameTZ... then, bam, automatic game of jump to conclusions by a replier claiming I mean to make CAG seem like an inferior trading service and a ton of other people flaming just for the hell of it.

Honestly, I thought I'd escaped immature people looking to stroke their egos by picking on newbies when I left GameFAQs.
 
Here is what you need to do. Erase you're entire first post. Post THAT in the TRADING forum. Thats it. You are still carrying this thread along like its a trading page, which its not. I see you updated it, again.

I modified it to re-iterate that I did, in fact have a GameTZ link in there because people were starting to act like I was hiding it or something.

As for the trading forum... yeah, that was the plan when I found out it existed... but I can't make topics there for 30 more days.
 
What you need to do is remove all your comments from the first post. Only put the list of games in your post that you have for trade/sale/want and be done with it. People are smart enough to figure it out from there. When you make wise crack comments like you have, you will get flamed and in your case, it is very well deserved from reading this.

I'm sure a mod will move this to the correct forum. Also, change the title of your thread to something like "TLR's Tradelist"
 
I'm just going to report this and have a mod close it. Its obviously in the wrong spot and you don't have a right to even have a trade thread until being a member for 30 days.
 
Guys, he's new, he doesn't know. Give him a fucking break. We were all new at one point. Gizmo, calm down when it comes to hassling people. Every time someone does something as miniscule as posting in the wrong forum, you give them hell. Relax. Report it or PM a mod and it'll be moved.

TLR, I'm sorry, but you are not allowed to have a tradelist until you've been a CAG for over a month. Don't let a few assholes get to you.

CAG really is a great site. Don't let a few assholes ruin it for you.
