I've not heard anything from Franchise recently, so who knows what could be going on with it. I'd stick to the Paypal complaints until something happens either way.

Sometimes these sort of things appear a few weeks later in the local newspaper with little actual detail. A friend of a friend of mine got arrested for mugging people with a katana and the actual article came out 3 weeks later with no mention of his name, or what he did since it hadn't gone to trail yet.

right now i'm finishing the last few trades here and after that i will ONLY be on here just to see when you or your bro return my money. 60 dollars down is more than enough to make me stop trading on any site. right now i am TRYING to be patient and get my hard earned money back but sadly i will be done trading forever.

This guy went down to a local trail and robbed a couple of peopl with a nice cheap, sharp, katana, then ran off when a dozen police showed up with shotguns.

The crazy part was that it was only published in the local paper like a month later with no mention of his name or his weapon of choice.:lol:

Negative. Not even an answer by him. I think he's got a few more days until I'm automatically credited whatever they can get out of his account. With the differing stories between "The money is locked up in PayPal" to "He's spent it all" I'm not expecting much though. The rest I'll be looking to get back through legal means if I have to. Is there a limit to how long I can wait to file for mail fraud and the like?
 
Possible reasons why I got my money back.

I used a credit card to pay with paypal, and I filled out a claim right after this thread was posted. I posted a log of PMs from this site along with the quote in Shrike's first post.

I don't know for sure if TMACDaddy refunded me, or if it was from paypal. I assumed it was from TMACDaddy since I got my refund the night after I talked to TMACdaddy's brother. I could be wrong though, is there any way of telling where the refund came from?

Check Paypal and see what is listed for the refund. It should say in the details on it of why/how it was refunded, I believe.

thanks for the update but i also expected paypal telling me that right from the get go since you told us he has no money left.
 
Thanks for updating us on the situation. When nothing gets said for a few days, it's easy to expect the worst, and I think that's what everyone (myself included) was doing.

Thats the wrong tone buddy. He is lucky that they are not storming his house with lit torches and a noose. The people on here were wronged and have every right to be impatient and rude. Him fixing his mistake is not a favor to anyone it is just what he should be doing
 
I'm sure there's plenty of pawn shops that he could visit to sell/loan off his crap to get the money to pay these debts off. He's probably already been to a few to take care of the excess items he couldn't sell on CAG.
