i have mixed feelings so far. but it looks kinda good. joystiq had a hands on and said it was surprisingly fun,

i guess it was just a rumor, but i thought i heard that a demo was coming for this. i'd like to check it out.

oh, and lamest title evar!

It's got no co-op or multiplayer whatsoever. fuck that. Almost every other Turtles game featured gameplay with more than one person, local or not. This game should have 4-player online co-op.

I played it for 20 minutes and was fairly impressed. The controls are great- even easier than Prince of Persia (this game is made by people who made that game). The fighting portions feel just like PoP but then again I was never a fan of the fighting parts of that game. The graphics are decent and more interesting looking then blow your head off awesome. I cannot say how great the game controls- it feels sooo fluid. I'll definitly be renting this and maybe buying if there is a price drop.

This is the dumbest thing I have heard in awhile. 4 turtles, 4 players! What the fuck? Konami needs to get the license back.

Ill take a great single player game over a mediocre 4 player one.

Wow...it's only 1 player. That kinda blows. The game looks pretty good unlike every other shit turtles game that's been released since the SNES/Sega era.

I'm watching the movie, then buying the game, then playing the game while eating pizza!

Hardcore!

I'm not expecting too much. The PC demo had a nice feel to it. I'm just glad the game appears to be based on real source material than based on the cartoon/archie books.

I see one of the Achievements is

18. Family Unit
Do a co-op move combination attack.

I take it as there's no multi-player they mean a move done with another AI Turtle ?

as usual gamefly kicks ass.. $35 keep it price for me

and also the developers are damn idiots for not including any multiplayer... thats insane

Correct.

Ive already played and beat this game on the 360 (see my GamerTag).

It sucked.

Here's how just about every level goes:
1. Run for 2 minutes
2. Fight 10-15 guys.
3. Run and jump for 2-4 minutes
4. Fight 10-15 guys
5. Run and jump for 5 minutes
6. Fight for Guys
AND SOMETIMES
7. Fight boss

Yeah....way to easy. In each level there are only 2-3 different bad guys....all look the same.

Every achievement can be unlocked by playing through the game except 1 (collect a turtle coin). To get that you simply replay Level 1 for 25 seconds and get it. Easy 1000 points.

The logic behind the decision was to make it more like the movie. But I assume they "return" to the family unit which means all four them fight together in the movie, so their logic seems sorta lost.

It would have been nice to have it as an unlockable mode at the end.
So we're talking a rent not a buy?
If you like 1 player games that take 4 hours to finish tops, but it. There is no replay value to this at all. Nothing. If you like to run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, fight 10 enemies for 20 seconds, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump, run, jump then totally buy it!

Just a heads up for those planning to rent it.. my local Hollywood Video, the same HWV that got 18 WSB2K7, 12 Def Jam Icon and 15 GRAW2's, got a staggering ONE copy of TMNT to rent for the 360. The XBox had 2 copies to rent. The PS2 had 12 copies to rent.

Go figure.

I really wanted this to be a good game, so I should rent it and get 1000 nerdpoints over the weekend after seeing the movie.

That's also a pretty good review of Lost planet....

I picked it up today at Sams Club for $44. It feels like a kiddie version of Prince of Persia to be honest. My wife, an extreme non-gamer, loves it though. I get the feeling its great for the non-gameplaying audience, but everyone else will be disappointed.

Though, the Cowabunga Carl costume is almost worth the price of admission.

man i really wanted to get this game too..

i was pumped when i read in an early interview that this game had a bunch of easter eggs and unlockable videos and stuff .. is that even the case?

anyone finish the game? I am stuck on one of the last bosses, the one with the hammar. Any tips, I know you should use rapheal when he does his power up attack, but I don't know what to do with him

Copied and pasted the following from www.xbox360achievements.org ], twas a post by a fellow named Worseley.

Boss 2: Pretty hard but very easy to predict. He has 3 attacks(A hammer wave, jumping and a mega blast) You'll want to dodge his hammer waves using a backup turtle (keep mike healthy) I just stayed at the edge of the arena and walked in the middle of the waves. Do this 5 times and then he's going to try jumping. When he starts his jump attack switch to Mike and just keep moving, just don't stop. Attack him each time he misses you (you'll get 3 chances) After this he'll either go back to hammer waves or he'll do a mega blast. If he falls on his back then he's going to do a mega blast. Now this is where things get tricky. If you see him fall on his back, switch to Don(next turtle) and immediately do a Coop move by 'holding X' the second he starts the attack. The electric attack will stop the attack and keep you from being knocked off. Repeat this until he will continually do the Mega blast (when he's out of health) then all you have to do is keep hitting him with normal attacks and after about 6 or 7 times of getting up he'll die
