Bahahaha... ;) While watching the clip, I thought to myself, "Oh no, he's heading to the top turnbuckle!"
I thought the same exact thing. I'm telling ya, they better have a Max Moon come back! I hope WWE keeps up with the Heath Slater against Legends story line. It has me so hooked to see who they are going to make Slater face next.

Also, can't tell if we are being trolled or not by slidecage.

Does RVD's win over Undertaker for the Undisputed title count in the title history? This was the night after Taker took the Undisputed Title from Hogan (On RAW) On Wikipedia It lists that he won the title but the match was restarted, which Taker won...but the ring annnouncer says "And New Undisputed Champion" when Taker won and even King said that Taker had won the title twice in 24 hours.

I'm pretty sure that title change is not in the official lineage. Not sure why but I'm pretty sure that RVD's first WWE World Title win was at One Night Stand 2006 when he beat Cena.

No. It doesn't count. Ric Flair was the authority figure who said the first ending was invalid and the match was to continue. A Lillian Garcia ring announcing botch saying "New" instead of "Still" or King's idiocy doesn't make a title change official. The video is pretty self explanatory of what happened. If it counted, it'd be here: http://www.wwe.com/classics/titlehistory/wwechampionship

What in the actual fuck at the Smackdown Money in the Bank participants.
-Damien Sandow
-Tyson Kidd
-Christian
-Santino Marella
-Tensai

Damien Sandow?

He's supposed to be an erudite aristocrat kinda dude, like "Hunter Hearst Helmsley" when he used "Ode to Joy" as his ring music.

Except his catch phrase is "You're welcome," which to this day reminds me of Perry Saturn's "retard with a mop" gimmick.

Take that for what you will.

Christian
has to be looking at this, then looking at the Raw version and thinking "Da fuck?"
10 years ago, that MITB match would be on Heat.
Hell, now it'd be on NXT if that was still a show.

Just got back. It was pretty shocking when
Kidd
won to get in. After that match,
Swagger
got on the mic and started running his mouth about losing. Lawler came out and beat him down and finished with the fist off the ropes. This got a pretty huge pop. He's a legend in Evansville from his USWA days. I'm guessing that was a dark segment.

The triple threat match for the big gold belt was pretty good. Overall, a decent show. The dark match main event was Cena vs Big Show/Tensai. Of course Cena won.

Damien Sandow is awesome if you bother to watch Smackdown. But they're escalating him awfully quick from short beat down squash matches to a MITB match.

I'm sort of drooling inside at the thought of Tyson Kidd ladder spots. I predict Tensai launching him like a Spike Dudley brand lawn dart.

Sandow is one of the best things about today's WWE. Dunno if I want him to win Money In The Bank. Seems way too soon and shotgunning him so early could have a Swagger effect where he never gets over as champion and is later relegated to mid-card hell.

In general, I strongly dislike the Money In The Bank concept. Just a lazy way to give someone a push without having to properly build them up as a name. The King Of The Ring tournament or Royal Rumble were much better ways to have the next big thing earn their title shot.

For the SD MITB I think that
Sandow will probably either walk out because ladder matches are beneath him or spend the entire match on the mic and attempt to sneak in at the last minute but fail at it.
whats the best price anyone has seen on that new ECW bluray?
$23 at Amazon.. picked it up for $20 release week. If you like the wrestling it's good, but the theme music and crowd chant edits suck
and whats with the AJ orgasms around here...?
Yea i figure the theme music sucks.. but im already used to the edits since ive been watching wwe on demand and they have the edited music.. some of the songs are hilarious... (newjacks come to mind)

I didn't find the music edits that appalling. the crowd edits are so different from what ECW crowd were actually like (and as we remember) that it's kinda jarring.

Why spend money for the inferior product when you can watch the authentic product on YouTube?

Yeah, I may actually sell my blu. I love ECW and all of that, but A.) These matches are pretty tame, save the Rhino/Spike Dudley from Massacre on 34th Street where he chokes Spike until he passes out and throws up (where I believe there to be another huge commentary edit and I'll try to verify it, but after he chokes out Spike, both Joey and Cyrus are silent for like two minutes), and B.) as Myke said, a lot of it is on Youtube. Plus, it really bothers me owning a blu ray with mostly SD content. Granted, it looks like it's a tiiiiiiny bit sharper than DVD quality, but still.

It's going to be a pain to try to find the original releases of the PPV's, but I'm going to try.

Anyone pick up the Falls Count Anywhere DVD/Blu yesterday or today?
Is it just me or does AJ look a bit like that slacker chick from Parks and Rec?
Aubrey Plaza? Not really, no.
Obviously Santino will win MITB.
Watch him win and then fail at cashing in his briefcase, just because WWE loves to make us THINK he could win the big one. (Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, etc)
1 year anniversary of Punk's "shoot" promo.

Sad how we all fell for it
No kidding. The product's still the same, no matter how much Punk might try to tell himself that he and Daniel Bryan are in the main event. The names have changed, but the show production, format, and storylines are all the same.

There are small changes in today's product. As Myke said, the names may have changed, but the product and format is still the same. Another perspective: Sorta shows you how little the WWE titles are worth. Despite being the "WWE champion" (what ever that means), Punk is rarely the main event. I get it. It's sports entertainment. I'm pretty sure if Vince had his way he'd drop the physical title system and just tack on drawings of the titles to Twitter profiles.

I read that Vince has allegedly banned the mention of small city names now on television, like Fort Wayne.

Doesn't surprise me. They have been calling Rosemont Illinois by Chicago instead for maybe 30 years now.

I remember someone being surprised in our weekly Raw chat that Maxine was given airtime on Raw. She won't be on Raw anymore!

According to PWInsider, WWE Diva Maxine has quit WWE.

The report states that Maxine was frustrated with several different things, including not being given a guaranteed deal and not being able to prove herself on TV outside of NXT. She was last seen in the Diva battle royale on Raw this week.

Maxine first joined WWE in 2009 as a developmental talent and was in FCW until NXT's third season. She returned during Season Five as part of a triangle with Derek Bateman and Johnny Curtis.
