To anyone who ships games a lot: How much do games wieght?

i know that a GBA game weighs less then a XBox 360 game. but i'm wondering on average how much a game from each system weights? like i would imagine that a PS2 game weighs on average (depending on the game) about 3-8 ounces, but without a scale it's only a guess.

i'm curious so i can gauge postage and different methods and what not before i ship anything.

any help is greatly appreciated. maybe we can get a little list or something going.
 
GBA games are 2 - 3 ounces, PS2/XBox/GCN games (and I guess 360 as well) are 5 - 7 ounces. PSP and DS games are 4 - 5 ounces. All of those don't include packaging material weight.
 
I always put 5 ounces for DS games (they are generally 4.2 ounces but better safe than sorry). For PS2, if the manual is normal or thin, I'll put 6 ounces. If it is a game with a thick manual or has extras (like GTA with the maps), I bring it up to 7 ounces.
 
I have a scale for that reason. It was $10 at Radio Shack but works well on saving postage. A 5.8 ounce total package that I would have guessed 7 ounces on can go out at 6 ounces and still be ok.

id say easily under 1.50 first class... 1.50 is how much it costs me throguh paypal to send a 5-6 oz 360 game.
 
Most PS2/Xbox/GCN games I have shipped are in the 6 oz. range IIRC. It depends if there is just one disc in it though. More than one will bump it up a bit.
 
With packaging, PS2/X360/GCN/etc. games weigh between 5-12 ounces, on the higher side if the game has a large manual/double disc
/more packaging. Typically, it should be in the 5-7 range for normal games w/ 1-2 layers of bubble wrap.
 
I always ship games via priority mail. It's pretty much $4.75 anywhere in the country witha Delivery Confirmation, gets there in about 2 days, and you get free shipping supplies.

If you're not shipping more than 2 games ina package, you usually don't go over $5.
