Immense gratitude to Shrike4242 for updating this thing while I was away!!!

This is an odd one.....

Basically the gist is that Toys R Us is reducing its inventory by 20% by marking down over 6,000 skns from it's inventory, most of which are toys. There are however roughly 300 or so video games/accesories that will be a part of this clearance. As of 7/11 all have been marked down from 30-50%. TRU is seeking to aggressively move these skns out of its stores. So if these games have not sold in roughly a months time they will be marked down again...a month later, again.....and so on until it's gone. So if you're the gamblin' type I suppose you could hold out for cheaper prices. Prices seem to be good everywhere, though there may be some variance in prices between stores.

Everything that is a part of this sale is on a 3 week cycle, meaning that every three weeks any items remaining in the stores will receive another price drop. Seeing as how these prices went into effect on the 11th of July we should be seeing them all drop again on the 1st of August.

The only caveat here being that retail is an odd beast that can be subject to change. So basically there is another price drop coming that in all likelihood will happen on the 1st so check back on the than to see what's up.

Tried using this coupon at a couple TRU's and they all told me that they couldn't take it since it was a copy and not from the magazine.....maybe I was just unlucky though.

That Xbox live 12 month thing, is it just the card or the kit? Also, I got an extra Suikoden Tactics if anyone is interested, the CAGer that wanted this backed out. Selling for $19.

They were on PS2. What happened is they put Path of Neo behind the Enter the Matrix $4.98 sign and they rang up full price. I showed the manager the sign and he gave them to me for $4.98.

so TRU honor those print out on coupons? I had no problems at BB using the 5 off coupon never tired at TRU one...ahh Wait I just noticed it says $25 or more? and only on toys and clothing?
 
All 3 were marked down at coachella valley TRU. The 12 month w/ communicator and crimson skies was $29.98, the 12 month w/ pouch (whatever that's for) was $19.98, and the 3 month w/ communicator was $9.98.
 
Hey Shrike, could you add a coupon link to the OP? It would be interesting to see how many CAGs are able to use a copy - I'm certainly going to try tomorrow.
 
Haven't seen this one mentioned yet: Inuyasha: Feudal Combat (PS2) for $19.99 reduced from $39.99. Visited four stores and only found copies at one.

Crazy how the price of those DVD remotes (and other clearance accessories) can vary so much. They were $19.98 at a TRU I was at yesterday

I am disappointed, doesn't it say "Proud Devil Customer" under your name? ;) There is always a way. I was actually lucky enough that they still had a couple games I had already bought so I re-bought them with the coupon. It wouldn't scan but the guy manually entered it. But because you can return and rebuy you should still be able to use it.

So I have an extra Legends of Heroes (PSP) and Rayman (DS) if any one is interested. I am looking for Untold Legends: Brotherhood of the Blade (PSP) +/- $5 to make up the purchase price difference.
 
Does anyone know if the Intec lcd screens can be used for other videogame consoles or are they console specific? Been looking for another cheap screen since I can't find another PSone screen anymore. Thanks ahead.
 
I think the TRU I went to had Sims 2 Nightlife for $14.98, as well. Plus, some other random PC games that I didn't pay attention to.
 
picked up soul calibur 3 today, but no luck on killer 7. probably for the best. also

They were just moving some of the games out to the bin in the Topeka, KS TRU when I went tonight. They still have the old school pull tags there and some games like the Castlevania double pack and Baten Kaitos with soundtrack were already marked down on the wall and still had tags. However, the games guy was bringing over a cart of newly clearanced items so maybe some of the stuff wasn't in stock and they hadn't pulled the tags yet.

I went by the TRU over here in City of Industry today and grabbed F-Zero GP Legends for GBA for a nice $5. Very proud of that purchase. Also grabbed Fire Emblem Sacred Stones. There were some other games I wanted but the place was pretty barren. they did have 2 or 3 more copies of F-Zero there though. Can't pass that up for 5 bucks.

I went to CC not to long ago and I saw a bunch of SC3 copies for $20. So if you can't find it at TRU you guys might wanna swing by CC.
