Immense gratitude to Shrike4242 for updating this thing while I was away!!!

This is an odd one.....

Basically the gist is that Toys R Us is reducing its inventory by 20% by marking down over 6,000 skns from it's inventory, most of which are toys. There are however roughly 300 or so video games/accesories that will be a part of this clearance. As of 7/11 all have been marked down from 30-50%. TRU is seeking to aggressively move these skns out of its stores. So if these games have not sold in roughly a months time they will be marked down again...a month later, again.....and so on until it's gone. So if you're the gamblin' type I suppose you could hold out for cheaper prices. Prices seem to be good everywhere, though there may be some variance in prices between stores.

Everything that is a part of this sale is on a 3 week cycle, meaning that every three weeks any items remaining in the stores will receive another price drop. Seeing as how these prices went into effect on the 11th of July we should be seeing them all drop again on the 1st of August.

The only caveat here being that retail is an odd beast that can be subject to change. So basically there is another price drop coming that in all likelihood will happen on the 1st so check back on the than to see what's up.

It's made by Datel, and plugs into the mem card port.

Do a google search for "Advance Game Port" (its correct name) and you can judge for yourself.
 
Just an FYI for those interested in the Intec LCD screens for Xbox, GC, PS2. If can't find one at Toysrus, they can be found pretty cheap on ebay, just check to make sure the seller isn't killing you on shipping before you bid.

HEY hey hey logitech driving force pro's for ps2 are all 49.99!!!.... well at least thats what i saw in my store. There was a big sign with like 100 boxes of the wheel sayin "great wit GT4", and another section with a diff version of the wheel, sayin "great with GT3". Looks like the reg price is 129.99 so price looks good. Dunno how they plan on sellin an older, crappier, GT3 wheel at same price though. Btw, this was in lic, queens, nyc but im guessin it should be everywhere.

At mine it was just the Driving force (the one with the blue grips) that was 49.99, not the pro version... at least, I didn't see it.

I went to the TRU in killeen, tx, and they did not have the xbox remotes at 0.98, they were priced at 15.98.

So far I picked up

I don't have a ps2 anymore, but the eyetoy are a nice cheap webcam... the drivers are easily available for the pc over the net, too.
 
i just came back. its not the PRO version. its the NON PRO. the one that pat87 just said. the guy i talked to on the phone probably didnt hear me saying PRO. i didnt see any PROs there.

Went back to my TRU today and scored Feel the Magic and Viewtiful Joe: DT for my DS. Feel was regularly marked at $9.99 but the sign said Joe was $14.98 but it had a price sticker on it for $9.98. Someone must have screwed up but the lady gave it to me for $9.98 anyway.

FFX X for 10 bucks? It was a no go for me scanned came out to be 19.99...can anyone grab me one for trade for something on my list? its 19.99 used at GS/EB ahh they tend to jack prices up on FF games ever since AC came out.

Yea well if the gt4 wheel is the pro one, then i know for sure it was 49.99 since it had its own section with a large sign planted right in the middle of it.
 
Aside from being unable to find Soul Calibur 3, I've had a decent haul from this--the last copy of Dragon Quest VIII, the last Doom 3 CE, Castlevanina Double Pack and Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance. All in all not too bad for a little over $80.

Just got back from my local scary Toys R Us. Not in a place I'd go after dark, but that usually means good deals are hiding. Found almost everything on my edited version of the list (and they had clearance tags on TONS of stuff). But I had to be good. It was quite a gold mine. :)

Ended up picking up:
Psychonauts (Xbox)
Eyetoy: Antigrav (PS2)
Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play (PSP)
[latter 2 were hiding in the glass cases behind the register, neither had tags on the floor-- Eyetoy was shoved behind some other games and MAT was sideways behind the metal on the very edge, you could only see it from an angle]

I'm pretty excited since I struck out badly at the CC clearance. These prices aren't as good but they're 3 games I have wanted for a while. :)

But darn, didn't think to check the Xbox stuff, don't have a 360 yet but if it transfers that'd be amazing. I saw a guy buying one, too, just as I walked in. (it was a Live card of some sort) I may have to go back...

I went to my TRU looking for Champions of Norrath: Return To Arms which they didn't have but I ended up getting Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II for the Xbox which was 4.98 I think somebody mentioned it earlier in the thread but I don't see it in the OP. I also saw Dragon Ball Z: Sagas for PS2 at 4.98

PS2 FFX2 - 14.95 (just needed to complete my FF collection)
and 2sets of Taiko Drums, wanted to sell one set, but met my friend for dinner, told him about the sale, and he bought it from me.

there were a lot of stuff for sale. the middle village, Queens NY one had a lot of Baiten Kaitos, a lot of the Taiko drums, and the Logitech Driving wheel for 49.99. i may buy a few of those but those are heavy :drool:

they have a lot of Dragon Quest VII left going for 19.99.

is it the PRO or the NONPRO?
 
i dont know what the difference is, they looked the same (nonpro) to me, one version with "for GT4" and one with "for GT3". however on closer look, the GT4 was simply a sticker on top of the box where it should say GT3.

so in short, i guess, nonpro? (what is the difference?)
 
also, forgot to mention that of the 2 TRU i went to today, both of them had clearance labels on the shelf to tell you the games on sale, although it seems like customers don't put back the games where they got them so its a bit messy.

and, both of them had the Intec XBOX 7.2" wide LCD monitor (the one you attach on top of the xbox) for 39.99, i wanted the gamecube one but can't locate them :(

Harvest Moon? Which one, I don't see it on the OP. I bought Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life CE for 30 bucks so if it's that one I'm going to go back and get my money back.
