Immense gratitude to Shrike4242 for updating this thing while I was away!!!

This is an odd one.....

Basically the gist is that Toys R Us is reducing its inventory by 20% by marking down over 6,000 skns from it's inventory, most of which are toys. There are however roughly 300 or so video games/accesories that will be a part of this clearance. As of 7/11 all have been marked down from 30-50%. TRU is seeking to aggressively move these skns out of its stores. So if these games have not sold in roughly a months time they will be marked down again...a month later, again.....and so on until it's gone. So if you're the gamblin' type I suppose you could hold out for cheaper prices. Prices seem to be good everywhere, though there may be some variance in prices between stores.

Everything that is a part of this sale is on a 3 week cycle, meaning that every three weeks any items remaining in the stores will receive another price drop. Seeing as how these prices went into effect on the 11th of July we should be seeing them all drop again on the 1st of August.

The only caveat here being that retail is an odd beast that can be subject to change. So basically there is another price drop coming that in all likelihood will happen on the 1st so check back on the than to see what's up.

I got a stupid question here.

if you asked one of the TRU people to see if a particular title is a available at another TRU store, would they be able to do that and help you out?

It's been my experience that the TRU employees barely know what's going on at their store sometimes so stock at other stores is unlikly info for them. They have a terminal on the floor but it seems to only tell what they have not other stores.

the pro has the 900 degrees wheel. u drive just like a real car. its perfect for GT4. it has that shift stick also.

I caved in and picked up Fire Emblem: SS, the only game I really wanted, and bought an eyetoy w/antigrav on impulse. Anyone want to buy the eyetoy and antigrav off of me for 15 shipped?
 
I picked up Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance and Fire Emblem: the Sacred Stones today. PoR was 30 and SS was 15 not too bad if I say so myself. Two good games for cheaper than the price of a brand new one. I also lucked out at my local pawn shop and got a copy of Guilty Gear X for 10 dollars!

While I'm at it, I'll just say I'm looking to trade for Suikoden IV, Soul Calibur III and Midway Arcade. I picked up SF Anniversary for Xbox and Legend of Heroes PSP if anyone wants to trade.

Ya know, I've never been able to find a copy of Baten Kaitos when it has gone on sale anywhere. Not at the Circuit City clearances, not when the non-soundtrack version was clearanced out at TRU, and now, not when the soundtrack version is clearanced out. LOL.

Its not GB Player its Advance Game Port. its similar to GBPlayer. It just plugs into the memory card slot.

The Intec Metal Dance Pad dropped to 30 and I think the Intec XBox regular dance pad dropped to 7 or 8 bucks
 
I hit three Toys R Us stores. I picked up the Intec GC screen (Indigo) for 20.98. I also saw Tiger Woods PGA and PGA 06 for 19.99 each; both were for the PSP.

the 2 TRU i went to has a lot of BK. if you want i can pick up and we can trade. :D

im looking for the GC screen that is on sale for 20 or 25,, of course i can pay the price diff.
 
Picked up an F Zero for GBA for 5 bucks. There were about 20 other copies there. Novi, MI. I'll get around to playing it later, but 5 bucks was too good to pass up for a series that has a good rep.

I'm surprised anyone is finding this considering it was green tagged before Christmas for $9.98. By the way, this would probably cost a couple bucks more than a normal Xbox game to ship because of the heavy metal tin in comes in.

Anyone been to the ToysRus in Lincoln, Nebraska? For that matter, are there any Nebraskans that get on here at all? I live like an hour and ahlf away from Lincoln, so I never get in on the sales until they are over. If I had someone that was in the area, we could network. I have the Tri-cites covered.
 
FYI,
Woodlands, TX store had Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes (GCN) tagged at 9.98. Also had the Microsoft brand Xbox DVD remote tagged (big sign on the peg holding them) at 4.98. They had about 3 twin snakes left and 5 or so of the DVD remotes.
 
I decided to check out the clearance titles for DS and ended up getting Puyo Pop Fever. It was a fun, but cutesy, puzze game that was well worth the $10 I spent on it.
 
In McAllen, TX they have NCAA Football 06 (ps2) for $4.99 and World Series Baseball for ps2 $4.99... everything else sucked...
