Got a R-Zone holiday gift guide in the mail today. A couple of good coupns in there:

Save $10 on Sega 2 packs

$10 off an Nintendo purchase $100 or more

Save $5 off any Disney Video Game

The most interesting is one that is $10 off any two Video games $19.99 or LESS. Obviously a misprint but it will be interesting to see if they will honor it. Probably not.

Anyone else get these? The coupons are good starting Dec 3rd

i was going to hop on this deal but i don't have a car and I don't want to ask my friends to drive me, anyone care to sell me a Xenosaga or La Pucelle Tactics for TRU prices + shipping?

Green Tag stuff can be returned. It falls under the normal return policy. This one guy got 5 or 6 games from me today for $0 and his plan is to return them the day after Christmas since most stores are allowing you to return stuff without a receipt. You obviously misread the post... he's saying that the guy is waiting till the day after christmas when MOST stores take returns without receipts... thus they'd have no way of knowing that he got them for free.
 
I used the scans today in Union, NJ store with no problem. Grabbed a Xenosaga and Resident Evil for PS2. No hassles at all, the girl asked me if I got this off my computer and I honestly said yes. She just shrugged , typed in the code and away I went.
 
I went today, the lady wasn't sure about it but let me go through with it...nothing special, I was gonna pick up R-Type Final but it was $15...

I got Robotech Battlecry and a Xbox Exhibition disc (both half off, and I wanted Capcom VS SNK 2 EO anyways) for about $2.

Nothin too special...:/
 
Just got back. Here's my receipt:
R Type Final $14.95 - $6.98
Beyond Good and Evil $6.48 - $3.02
XIII $4.98 - $4.98
XIII $4.98 - $4.98

Subtotal: 11.43
Tax: 0.58
Total: 12.01

And I found a penny on the floor :cool: No idea what I'm gonna do with second copy of XIII though.
 
Alrite, this was just pointed otuto me...but exhibition discs are green tagged at my TRU for $2.50 after teh half off...in which could I mass those and then get like a game for stupidly cheap (every 2 they would be negative $5...)
 
My TRU doesn't have green tags anymore I think. For a little while we had the 70% green tag. Also, Jampack 10 doesn't work with the coupon. In addition, I couldn't get the two GH, PC, PH for 30 to work with the coupon. So I returned those two.

But hey, I got Xenosaga for .98 cents!!

Edit: Forgot to mention this was at Tallahassee. Also, there was only one Xenosaga left and when I got there, I noticed all but two of the value games that are free were all gone. I think someone picked the place a week or two ago. Might be the guy who bought all the Psone combos.

I got Crimson Skies and PGR2 for 20 total. Decent enough for me... none of the bargain bin games seemed all that great, and there was no indication of a green tag sale. Asked the cashier if it was okay if I could combine the offers, and he said it was fine. I think it was just green tags + the $10 off. Xenosaga had a price tag of $11.96 (green tagged at $5.98) while SC2 was at $15.96 (green tagged at $7.98). $5.98 + $7.98 - $10 = $3.96 :D
 
I'm surprised more people aren't taking advantage of this coupon. I used it for the third time today.

Silpheed marked at $14.99 green tag. Rings up as $9.99. Green tag discount = $4.99. $10 coupon = free

Sphinx marked at $7.89. $10 coupon = $2 something.

Total: $3.12
 
Hrm... I think I'll check this out. Green tag games are the ones with green sales tag on them obviously right? Sorry, I've been away from the CAG scene for awhile.

That's true for the most part, but some of the time you'll run into games that aren't tagged properly (i.e.: they're part of the "green tag" 50% off, but they still have the old orange tags)

I used it yesterday to score Bloodrayne (XB) for $3.20 ($7.48 - $4.28) and Mafia (XB) for $4.26 ($9.98 - $5.72).

Fifth time I've used it, laser prints of the coupon all the time. Never had a problem.

When do Toys R Us usually get restock of games? Tuesdays with the new games? I'm hoping to grab NFL2K5 and Katamari Damacy with this but they didn't have any of either a few days ago.
 
Is it ok to use the .pdf of the coupon at the store or do you need the orginal? I looked through the thread and could not find a definite answer.

What are some Gamecube games that would be a good pickup for this, I am going tomorrow and need to pickup a couple of more games for x-mas.

there might've been some left, but I'm not sure if I can get back to it before the deal expires. I'm going out of town for the holidays so I'm not sure if I can get to that TRU again(it's on the other side of town). I'll see if I can squeeze in a trip though.
 
I'll probably use the coupon to pick up Alien Front Online for DC that I saw last week at TRU, $7-8 after the 50% off. If I don't find anything else I want there, I guess I'll just get NHL 97 for Saturn that they still have haha, $1.50 after 50% off so I'll get both for $0.

Went by a TRU while I was out yesterday, but I didn't have the coupon and they wouldn't give me the deal without it (none in the store). I did grab Arc The Lad for $7.48 though.

Now I've got a printout so I'll try to go back and score another game + Arc for less than the $8 I spent yesterday.

Too bad I'm going out of town for a week tomorrow :( Hopefully it won't be totally empty when I come back. It was already pretty bad yesterday here in Dallas...

If you went up to the counter with some games to an "old" person, then you'd be definately be denied.

I don't think it's all about luck. I've used the coupon three times so far at the same TRU and bought so many games the manager greets me when he sees me! I think he's glad that he's getting rid of games that have been there for eternity....
 
has anyone had a problem buying more than 2 games at a time? My cousin was buying 2 bloodrayne's and a sphinx and turok and the price turned out to b 5 dollars roughly. But sphinx and turok was 5.48 and bloodrayne was 4.98. So shouldn't it have come out to one dollar total?

I should let you know, I picked up NHL 97 and some DC games (as well as some N64 games) last week and the discount didn't work on them.

I don't think it works on PS1 either, maybe only GC,PS2, and X-Box?

it's supposedly 3 inches in length and 2 inches in height
 
I was 3/3.

Then me and my friend went to the Towson MD TRU and he got 2 copies of Turok, RECVX, and Red Faction. I got one copy of MAT1, 1 copy of Ribbit King, one copy of RECVX, and one copy of DMC1.
We were denied, the girl didn't know what to do so she called the manager, he said he doesn't take photocopies even though my friend said that I got the other 3 stores to take it.

Needless to say, 3/4.

However, after my Russian final I went to the Catonsville TRU and got Ribbit King ($10-$5=5) and DMC1 ($5-$5=$0) for $5.12.
We're also going to the Owings Mills TRU in about an hour he wants to pick up a PStwo.

Currently 4/5.
