Welcome to the Toys R Us clearance thread! Like all stores, Toys R Us also has clearance games-- and they often drop numberous times, such as going down to 19.98, 9.98, 5.00, and even as low as 3.00. There doesn't appear to be a set rhythm to when these drops occur, or how many of them will occur. Also, be aware that the games may not have their prices correctly marked-- generally, all TRUs will have the same pricing (there will always be exceptions) so do not let the price tag dissaude you from at least checking to see if it's at the price that it's been reported here.

Games, when possible, will have their SKU number posted. Please post any SKU numbers you have that aren't already in the list!

Also, some stores will be able to give you a price adjustment if your clearance game(s) drop-- if not, you can always try to return and rebuy the game(s).

Ok, so I've been looking at this site for months and didn't want to create an account because I felt I'd spend lots of time replying. Ha. But this thread is one of my favorites and I felt I should say something.

on 09/19/2010 I purchased: My receipt reads as below:

Just an FYI, I did try to get the B2G1 for the $19.99 and under to stack with clearance titles that went under that amount with the extra %25 off but it did not work, this was yesterday. I hope that made sense lol.

If I understood you right, that's odd. I did

Saboteur / Mirror's Edge / Chronicles with a stack of B2G3F, 25% extra off and BOGO 40% yesterday for ~$23 .

Not the greatest games, but still.
 
I was able to triple stack deals today:

:ps3: Dark Void $13.48 (17.98 - 25% off/4.50)
:ps3: Madagascar Kartz $7.64 (16.98 - 25% off/4.25 - 40% off/5.09)
:ps3: Need for Speed Undercover $0.00 (16.98 - 16.98 B2G1F)

Total $22.76 ($21.12 + $1.64 tax)

I think he means he used something that was over 19.99 to begin with, but dropped below after the 25% off was applied and it did not qualify for the B2G1 because it's base price is over 19.99.

I wonder if the 5 off 25 would work as well. I assume it does.

Yeah I think a lot of people misinterpreted that deal. At my store they actually have a list out by each gaming section for the qualifying games.

As others noted, $10 off only applies to specifc games, most of which I already own.

I didn't try the $5off coupon, since the total was less than $25.
 
I was able to do a quadruple stack today by buying 1 toy and 3 PS3 games (25% off clearance, B2G1, B1G140% off, $5 off $25).

Here is what my receipt looks like:

Nothing for me. They're remodeling the R-Zone or something. I asked if all the games they had on the floor were it, and I got a 'That's all that's out right now.' Then they resumed trying to stock it up again.

Failure. I am disappoint.

I wish! Ok 1st I tried to get Devil May Cry 4 in the B2G1 and the clerk said since it was over $19.99 before clearance (it rang up as $18) it wouldn't work in B2G1, same for Saints Row 2 also I assume, since they were marked $24.98. And the rest of those have been OOS for months at my TRU :(

So I had to replace DMC4 with a Sonic, still good 3 games at $8.40 each is fun! The 3 deals: B2G1 free, B1G1 40% off PS3, and $5 off $25+ worked for me again, nothing about any $10 off worked.

Yeah, I'm amazed that people can find these nice pickups at TRU. My TRU clearance section is mostly Wii shovelware and old sports titles...:drool:
 
The TRU in Irving was picked clean, I was just there thursday and everything that WAS there worth getting was gone today...you would have thought it was December 24th by the way their shelves looked.
 
i'm disappointed, so few titles available for this triple and quad stacking, there should have been a strait up 10 off coupon like last time.

Where is the Toys R Us in Irving. I drove up and down Beltline for a half hour looking for it. Good to know I didn't miss anything there, but maybe next time.

Not a bad set of games.

Though when the $10 Halo cards were in effect along with 30% off clearance titles, I remember getting those 3 games for less than $10 total, including tax. :)

The beauty of this B2G1 sale was that it wasn't just clearance, it was any game $19.99 and under. My TRU clearance racks were ALL junk, every single title. But my TRU also had 2 full rows of games marked under $19.99 for PS2/PS3/Xbox360/DS/Wii/PSP. I got lucky and found a few games I'd buy at sub $9, but never at the $20 price. Missed out on MGS4, DMC4, Uncharted, and Ratchet unfortunately.

TRU in Irving, TX is at MacArthur & 635 (North Irving/Las Colinas). They usually have a pretty decent inventory and they even have a bin of used games for about $8 and up. IMO Irving and Frisco have the best inventory in DFW.

yeah, I found a copy of MPT there on clearance for $30 one time.
 
Just a quick update, the 25% off all clearance runs through October 14 which means it could be decent if the B2G1 Free really happens starting 10/10/10. Also, Racquet Sports for the Wii with camera dropped to $9.98 which means it is only $7.48 on clearance. It's not a great game, but I am a sucker for peripherals so I bought a copy yesterday. Finally, if anyone is lucky enough to have a store that still has the Mario DS Lite or Brain Age DS Lite bundle in stock, they should be coming up at $97 after the additional 25% off clearance. The Morena Blvd. store in San Diego had two of each a week ago and I stupidly waited until yesterday to see if they were still there. They were not, sadly.

Wow, that's nowhere near where the Toys R Us website says it is. Their store locator says Toys R Us is behind Irving Mall. No wonder I couldn't find it.
 
Got The Saboteur, Tekken 6, and Condemned 2 all for $30 with the addition of the coupon. I was hoping to find another $20 clearance game but I couldn't (not anything that I hadn't already beat or could find for much cheaper).

Most everything else I was hoping for they didn't have. Was hoping for Dead Space, Mirror's Edge, or Burnout Paradise. Luckily I ended up finding BO:p at Target on clearance for 13.xx that very evening.

Wow, that halo coupon was really good back then, you could have gotten all of the 360 versions of those games for less than 10 bucks, I miss it :(

Yeah I missed out on that one! Ticked me off, but then again my financial situation was still a little up in the air at that point anyway, so I probably wouldn't have gotten anything anyway.

Still, they were all new and I ended up saving about $35 off of Gamestop's new prices. So a $35 savings is nothing to scoff at either :applause:

Yeah, that is pretty weird, it used to close to where is says it is but still wrong unless there is a TRU Express in the mall now that I wasn't aware of.

Yep, a TRU Express just opened there. Don't even know what that is nor how that applies to clearanced games. Would TRU Express carry clearance?

There's a TRU Express near me. It's almost like a pop-up shop that just carries bare essentials. My location only sold a few Wii and DS games.

Don't waste your time. TRU Express is just a store where bigger TRUs send all their non-selling stuff to. Some place for parents to shop for a quick present.

Essentials? It's a toy store. By definition, it can't have any essentials whatsoever.
