I open it up and sure enough, ALL 4 of the movie figs I ordered (Scorponok, Bumblebee, Jazz, and the white tank) are just messed up royally. Figs look okay (haven't opened them), but their packaging is just smashed/crushed/ totally damaged. Oddly enough, the Sunstreaker Alternator is in surprisingly good condition.
I took photos of all the damage, but now I'm wondering if that was the original shipment, or if this is the 'new' shipment.
It really pisses me off that I wasted a month waiting for these damn things only to have them come in such horrible condition, especially since it is pretty damn hard to find any of these figs around town.
I'm hoping that this was the original order and that they sent out a replacement that will arrive in hopefully much better condition (that way I'm tempted to keep the busted up ones as loose/display figs). But I'm afraid to wait too long before doing anything, because I don't want to be stuck with this wreckage. Any thoughts on how I should handle this?[/QUOTE]
So let me get this straight... You called on Monday. They said they would re-ship. You received the package 4 days later on Friday. I think that's too soon. I believe the package you have now is the OLD shipment, that likely got lost and that's why it's so beaten down. If I were you, I would wait another week and hold on to what you have. I bet you get your other shipment soon. Then you'll have the beat up ones to play with.
If you call now, they'll ask you to send the busted ones back. Patience is a virtue. This is probably going to work out in your favor.
Actually, I gotta give props to the cust service for shipping another order, basically no questions asked.
