Fry's in Alpharetta still has 5 different Alternators in stock Cochese. Don't remember them all but the Dodge Prime was there. I believe they are $24.99...
Son of a bitch. I was just there Monday. I was so pissed they didn't have Superman II on sale I left without checking on a few things.

Holy shit. It can't be Nemesis Prime can it?

Cochese - If you go back, let me know what they have. Depending on the selection I may be willing to buy some from you if you're willing.

most likely that's just the regular red alt. Optimus Prime...nemesis prime was exclusive to SDCC 2006.... and even then, i think HBTS didn't have any to sell online :whistle2:k

Unfortunately, I won't be back in Atlanta for just about a month.

You can probably get the regular Prime on ebay for about the same as paying $25 + tax + shipping. I've seen buy-it-nows for $24.99 + around $7 shipping, and certainly $29.99 + shipping crops up fairly often. You just have to keep looking (and make sure they aren't charging $20+ shipping...)

Heads up:

My local Target was doing the toys reset today, and they had Ultimate Bumblebee already up on the endcap. Heading back in an hour or so to see if they've pulled the hanging merchandise out.

All targets will be doing resets in the next month. Stores that already hit the 70% mark on toys 2 weeks ago will be reseting first. The cumming, GA store already has it done for the most part. Quite a few new toys across the board including the new superfriends toys. Only thing different in the Transformers realm was titanium diecast war within figures. Not sure if they are new, but I haven't seen them before...

It's hot. I would have actually liked less electronic features for a smaller price, and that's probably the reason why I won't buy it.

Although I will oogle it again when I go back.

yeah. kinda thinking about it as well. been wondering if people will bite for that price.

who knows, we might see some price drops. kinda like when Leader Class figures and Robo Vision Prime figures came out. prices were high, then they decided to cut down like $5 to make it attractive. yeah i remember Leader Class Prime going for around $45, before the movie, then $40 weeks before the movie opened. and now, no where to be found.

Battle Damage Optimus Prime is coming:

Vehicle mode looks cool but robot mode is pretty bad.

Also, eBay auction for hese:

Wonder if they'll ever make them for retail...I'd love to have Optimus Prime.
Whoa, that was fast...Pepsi Prime sold out again. Glad I got an order in this time!

Now to hope my timing is correct whenever Rodimus comes back into stock...
Hate to break it to you. Hasbro has taken Rodimus Alternator off the website. Looks like eBay is your only route....

Looks like the Target Toy reset is indeed happening today. Stopped by lunch and they had boxes upon boxes of toys but nothing I could get my hands on, they said that later this afternoon they should have everything reset and new stock on shelves.

Woooo!
Today my Roddy came in, looks awesome. Not gonna open him though.
Also while I was at the Hasbro Store in Disney I picked up Alt. Skids for $16 with my mom's cast member discount!

There was also a Riccochet, but I have smokescreen, so no matter.
I have a question though, is Skids worth the 16 bucks? Or should I return the fatty?

Yeah, I noticed that on my own. Ah wells. At least my Pepsi Prime shipped!

just came back from target after reading the posts about restock....

either some ass clown came in and bought all the movie figures OR nothing really came in :(

However I didn't go away empty handed... Electronics had about 4-6 copies of the PC Transformer game for 5 BUCKS!!! Holy shit I paid 20 for this back late June. Damn that put on clearance fast. Picked up 2 copies.

I went to my Target tonight and all that was new was the Titanium Optimus Prime and Starscream (one of each). I did finally pick up one of those Optimus Prime Mr. Potatoheads since they were on sale at $7.99 (hey, I have a 2-year-old).
I just said that the reset was happening.

And they reset it...with approximately five new toys. That's it. Complete waste of time.
hey at least you saw some of them.

a Target that i visited tonight had robot replicas. too bad, they were all gone. what's left is an empty shelf, with price tag on them. wow, the tornado has struck again.

and no sign of Ultimate Bumblebee. the only reason i visited Target was check on the darn thing. :bomb:

Was it the War Within Optimus?

Also, Optimash Prime rules!

Been to several post-reset Targets. I've seen a couple of the Target exclusive scouts, some of the new statue figures, and plenty of the new TECH things (garbage). No Deluxes anywhere, and the stores that had Voyagers don't have them anymore either.

Hasbro is shipping stuff. Just not things I want. All of the Targets have restocked with the $60 kiddie computers. Hello? Transformers? Things that transform? Into robots? Remember those?

Bigbadtoystore has the '74 Deluxe Bumblebee in stock right now, apparently. I already ordered, and I imagine that these will go fairly quickly.

(Shipping may seem pretty costly, but if you've preordered other items, you can use the 'Pile of Loot' feature to keep shipping costs on the low side, so it's worth it if you're getting say about three figures, as it costs pretty much the same as one item to ship.)

It's a 75-77, but I'd need to see the interior to tell you which year. They screwed up the concept year too, but I'd forgive them if I could just get my hands on one.

It's out of stock now. I got my classic Bumblebee from BBTS as well. I've never seen either of the deluxe Bumblebees in an actual store. I'll have to say, though, that the figure isn't great in robot mode. The feet kind of kill it. Still nice overall, though.

I swear, once this whole madness of movie toys is over... I'm going back to Matchbox collecting. :bomb: gawd, i hate this!!! :bomb:

as a consolation for hitting up some Targets tonight, I manage to grab a 25th Anniv. GI Joe 5 piece fig set. (whatever you call it). The last freakin one. I didn't expect that one. as I know they've been empty for the past days, and my purpose of checking Target was for the movie toys, and not the Joes. i got it when you least expect it. hope that applies to TF as well.

Yeah!

Pre-ordered Evolution of a Hero on Target.com!

Now to await this sucker.

Man this fall my wallets are gonna be hit hard. I mean with Bioshock LE, Halo 3 Legendary Edition, Mass Effect, Super Smash Brawl. Then for Trasnformers, theres the Costco 3 pack, The new Sam's BB Unleashed/Ratchet 2 pack, and if (and I hope to god) it comes to the states, the VOyager Prime and Concept BB 2 pack
My 20th Anniversary Prime came from Amazon today.

Holy shit the thing is HUGE. Amazing.
I'm trying to decide whether or not to get the classic prime or movie prime (Classic Voyager, Aniversary, or Movie Voyager). Any one version you would reccomend?

Well, 20th Anniversary Prime is my favorite transformer. He's pretty much a perfect representation of Prime from the animated series. Movie Leader Prime is nice, but no comparison to 20th Anniversary Prime IMHO.

How do the classic voyager Prime and movie voyager prime compare? I just purchased Ultimate Bumblebee and, well, another $30+ figure isn't something I can go for right now. A $20 Voyager I could deal with, however.

Sounds like you like the classic ones more, no?

I hope you're not referring to the classic Voyager I'm thinking of...

Caz that thing is just...eww.

I'd get the Movie Voyager Prime, even though I'm not too high on that one either.

There's going to be a G1 re-paint of the movie Voyager Prime, but that repaint, last I heard, might not come out until next year.

If you really wanted a figure now, I'd say go with the Voyager Movie Prime. OR save up the money, and get the 20th anniversary Prime.

It's probably the best toy I own. Which isn't saying much because I don't own very many. But still. Thing is bad-ass.

Actually, the classic voyager prime is pretty nice, but you can't really compare it to either the 20th Anniversary or Movie Leader Prime. They're not in the same league. I don't have the voyager movie prime, so I can't really say one way or the other, but I got the impression from photos that it's not nearly as nice or detailed as the Leader. I was unsure about the Leader Prime, but I decided that it made more sense to have Prime be bigger than the other figures, and I don't regret getting him. Megatron on the other hand... Well, I kind of felt like I needed to have him, but I'm not very fond of the figure overall.

I'll second that the Classics Voyager Prime is nice. It is a really solid feeling toy, unlike a lot of Transformers that are pretty flimsy. The transformation is decent, and I think the robot mode is pretty nice as well and fairly poseable.

Of course it can't hold up to a G1-style Prime, but that doesn't mean it isn't nice on its own. At least it looks fairly close, unlike the fugly neon colored classics voyager Megatron.

I found some Transformers today!

Wal-Mart in Orange, CA got a boatload of Wave 2 Voyagers (i.e. Voyager Megatron, but not Voyager Prime). One Ultimate Bumblebee and nothing else.

The only nice thing I can say about Voyager Megatron is that it's at least cheaper than Leader Megatron. Didn't pick it up.

Got the 3-pack of Target Titaniums for 3.24 today.

Edit: Oh, and I found an Optimus Prime Gift Card, too. Been looking for a month.
What does the Voyager Megatron look like, because I think I may have seen one here at TRU.
Mostly it looks like Leader Megatron, but smaller and icy.

The ice effect is rather nice, with transparent molded plastic. What's not nice is that it looks like a robot stuffed underneath an icy wing.
