Just picked up Voyager Blackout and Barricade at Target. Going to have to come back later to pick up Voyaer Starscream and Bumblebee.
Just wondering where you were able to get that arcee from. Isn't that from the second wave also? How many figures are in the second wave does anyone know?
the arcee is not mine yet, i wish tho :D lol....eventually i'll find her on my local target....that's just a pic i got of the web.....she'll most likely be 1-2 in a box of 12..... if i remember correctly from the 1st wave assortment, wreckage and scorponok were 1:1, barricade, brawl, BB, jazz, swindle were 2:1

if u look at the back packaging of arcee you still see wreckage and scorponok pictured, so they still might show up on 2nd wave.....there's also a character named "longarm" that's not there, but that might be 3rdw

possible box assts. would be like this:
arcee-2
BB 2009-2
wreckage-2
bonecrusher-2
dreadwing-2
scorponok-2

or
arcee-1
BB 2009-2
wreckage-2
bonecrusher-2
dreadwing-2
scorponok-2
longarm-1

or since they came out on 1stw:
arcee-1
BB 2009-1
wreckage-3
bonecrusher-2
dreadwing-2
scorponok-3

or
arcee-1
BB 2009-2
wreckage-3
bonecrusher-1
dreadwing-1
scorponok-3
longarm-1

If anyone is interested I found out you can order the Bumblebee vs Barricade wal mart exclusive 2 pack right from the Wal-Mart.com website. If you are having trouble finding it in the store like I am.

No, I got Voyager Blackout and want Voyager Starscream. Bumblebee and Barricade are the regular action figures that are around $10.
???? Voyager Barricade and Bumblebees? These are out?
Yeah...those are the ones that go for $9.99. Barricade is badass, hope they come out with a bigger version. Actually I wish that they would have come out with Alternators Movie series... I can dream.

Anyway, WTF happened with Ratchet, he's got a pretty cool vehicle alt. mode a Hummer H2 but he's puke neon green color. I stopped by Target last night to try to find Ironhide and Blackout but it seems that only the rejected Ratchet was the only one to be found. I gotta be honest, I have no desire what so ever to purchase Ratchet, if they would have painted him in a different color, It would have been on my must have list. I just need 2 more Robot Heroes to complete the collection so far...need Jazz & Thundercraker, and Optimus Prime & Unicron.

Where are you guys displaying these? I have opened all of mine and setup up on my cubicle at work. I'll see if I can take some pics and show you guys my collection so far...running out of space though and I worry that it may look "unprofessional"...

It's a really great mold, but I agree about the colors. However, THIS should help:

Also, I don't have anywhere to display them, so like the rest of my collection, they are carefully put in large storage bins from Menards, occassionaly taken out to be Transformed back and forth and put back once again.

I only have my Alts (complete except Nemesis Prime and...damnit, what was the Prowl repaint called!) along with Masterpiece Prime and Megs.

*Edit: Damn, are you guys able to see the pics? I have em in the

Wow that looked way better, though I would have prefered red body with white details.

Don't worry about the [IMG], sometimes certain links block them to avoid extra bandwith usage.

That would be great. If the movie is really popular, who knows? So far, just walking in stores, I've seen a lot of interest in the toys.

Anyway, WTF happened with Ratchet, he's got a pretty cool vehicle alt. mode a Hummer H2 but he's puke neon green color.

I'll take puke green over safety orange. I hate safety orange. But if you hate puke green as much as I hate safety orange, I can understand your pain.

I haven't decided about Ratchet yet. I know I want Blackout and Starscream. Ironhide looks interesting, but he's the major shelfwarmer in the stores I've been in so far.

Received Spy Shot in the mail today. Now I no longer have to feel bad about never getting Reflector.

Received a bunch of things yesterday from Hasbro...but none of them were movie toys, and they forgot my magnets. I'm guessing it will be at least another week before the movie Deluxes I ordered will get here.

I just got Barricade today at Wal-Mart.

It is AWESOME!

I just wish his head could turn. I think The next one I'll pick up is the Target exclusive Optimus, or maybe Blackout or Ironhide. I definately want the 2008 version Bumblebee, that one looks awesome.

Man, I want to find Ratchet at a Target and haven't had any luck. There's plenty at the places that don't have him on sale. ;) The color doesn't bother me, since I've seen real ambulances in that color scheme.

I keep my toys in my office. Right now it's mostly Cybertron, Classics, and a handful of movie items. Then there's some Legos and one-offs on one of my desks.

Instead of buying some of the action figures like I originally planned, I ended up buying the Transformers 360 faceplate instead. Got the Decepticon one. It comes with 12 additional skins that you can swap out. Not bad for $20.

I'll check it out at my local GS to see if they ahve it. Looks pretty cool.

Just got done transforming Ironhide, easily one of the best looking TF from the movie. Love this guy!
Wow. Am I glad that I didn't pick up Starscream when I had the chance, that looks awesome.
I haven't opened mine yet. I'm going to have to return it. I'd rather have the G1 repaint even though it looks less realistic. Same goes for Jazz, glad I didn't pick him up today when I was in store.

Okay, I'm getting confused. I tried looking at Hasbro's site too. What the difference between the Voyager and Deluxe figures? Who's out? Which ones are officially from the movie? How are you seeing what's coming down the line, what sites is everyone looking at?

There's a G1 paint of Jazz coming out? Is that from the movie or just something to rape our pockets? I hate when toy companies make 4 version of the same thing.

And is there a deluxe prime, megatron, starscream? Or are they only making those giant leader versions?

I'm starting to get the collector itch without seeing the movie so I wanna know what's what.

Coming this fall (maybe Target exclusives)

Thanks. So basically is the leader, deluxe, and voyagers. So they're trying to give them some scale, is that it? Now, how do you know about what's coming out later in the second wave? I read that there's a different version of Arcee than the Target version.

While the G1 paint looks great on Jazz, and I don't care for his new look, I think I may still get the new version as that's what he's supposed to be now. I'll just leave my original G1 toy for that paint version.

Maybe.

For news on upcoming toys check: TFW2005.com , Seibertron.com , Bigbadtoystore.com as well as other fan sites that you find linked to TFW2005 and Seibertron.

Voyager class is larger than Deluxe class, I believe. They come in boxes, whereas Deluxes come in bubble packs or whatever you want to call them.

Does anyone know if Ironhide is any good? I'm thinking about picking one up to fight against Barricade....And what about Blackout? He looks pretty menacing.

That repainted Starscream looks 100x better than the movie colors one. Is that a resculpted head?

They're both pretty cool figures, Blackout and Ironhide. I actually just returned Ironhide because the idea of having a GMC branded truck just bothered me to the point where I had to return him. Also because I knew that if I only bought him, I wouldn't stop until I had all the Voyager figures.

Ironhide and Barricade are both badasses. Definately get Ironhide. I'm still waiting to find Blackout. Ironhide, looks fucking awesome in robot mode, Barricade looks a little odd, but cool nontheless but I'm sure he would have been a lot better if he was a Voyager class toy.

I searched all over the place for Optimus Prime and Megatron and since they didn't have both, I ended up getting Ironhide. (The $20 version)

It definitely looks awesome.

IIRC, the original "Arcee" figure was part of the TF "Energon" series a couple of years back. The only major difference was that she was white colored with pink and red accents, but still the exact same figure, complete with high heels (I kid you not) .

Alright I think I will goto ToyRus today or later this week.

Mainly to get that $5 Gift card, it looks Highly collectible!

Tagged for future references. I did happen to buy some of the movie figures. I have bought Deluxe Bonecrusher, Wreckage, and Brawl. The voyager class ones I've only gotten Blackout & Starscream. Then yesterday I picked up the on sale $20 Robovision Optimus.

I'll hit TRU today since I have credit and I'll get more credit. But what do the Magnets look like from Hasbro? More like how big are they? Worth getting? I couldn't see them on the web site.

The magnets are a promotional item to promote the upcoming movie. They were first given out in 2006 at last year's San Diego Comic Con at the Paramount booth, where they also gave patient fans an exclusive, custom Decepticon t-shirt, which was only available at the Comic Con. On an interesting note, the other exclusive shirt that could be had was an Iron Man movie related white shirt that said "Stark Industries: IRON WORKS". I would have liked to have both, but waiting in lines of upwards of 90 minutes for each shirt just wasn't in my schedule.

The size of the magnets are approx. 3"x4.5" and comes in either the Autobot (red) or Decepticon (purple) insignias. The magnets are made like any of those flat image ones, where the backside is a dark brown. There is also a date of "7-4-7" which is at the bottom of the insignia face, to constantly remind people when the movie will be out.

I came back from TRU and came back with Starscream and Barricade. And scored the Exclusive look collectible Gift card!

Question, is neither available in the BIGGER form?

Starscream is. IDK if Barricade is the Voyager version in the Barricade vs Bumblebee set that's exclusive to Wal- Mart

Barricade in the 2-pack at Wal-Mart is deluxe sized.

I picked up Ironhide and Robo-Vision Optimus yesterday. I must say, I am very pleased with the movie toy line. Optimus is great, the only thing I don't like is that random guy sitting in the truck. I was really surprised at his poseability.

Ironhide is REALLY cool. It took me a long time to figure out how to transform him, though. I wish that he didn't have quite so much clutter, though. All the detail is awesome.

What's with all these Automorph features being in the feet?

Brawl and Scorponok arrived yesterday from Hasbro. Oddly, they were sent separately from the other movie toys. Whatever.

Today went to TRU and was glad to see they had restocked the shelves. They had all four Voyagers, so I picked up Ironhide and Blackout. I've opened Blackout and he's not quite as awesome as I hoped, but he's pretty darn amazing for a Voyager size toy. I'll open Ironhide later.

Decided to wait on Starscream and Ratchet. I don't know whether I like the originals or the recolors better -- for some reason, the new Starscream in Starscream colors looks weird to me -- but I have time to make up my mind.

Going to the regular Transformers aisle, I noticed they had some G1 Soundwave reissues. I thought these would be gone. So I used the $5 card I got from Ironhide/Blackout and put it toward Soundwave, got another $5 card and a $3 survey coupon.
Anyone seen packages or boxes of the new Wizards of the Coast Transformers CCG in stores yet?
Saw them this weekend at Books-A-Million ($4.99, $4.49 with discount card) and Target ($4.29).

Picked up two packs, but haven't actually punched them out. I'm sorta bummed that out of four total characters, I already have a duplicate. #-o
What's the name of the Decepticon police car? and is it a dodge chager police car?
Barricade, and I think its a Saleen Mustang.

Yeah it's a Saleen, as it has the Saleen copyright and branding on the packaging.

BTW, a serious fuck you to Toys R Us. They had NOTHING restocked yesterday, and of course the employees were less than helpful. So much for advertising the $9.99 Deluxe figures as available when they got NO new shipments in at any of the LA locations. All they had were those God damn Starscream and Optimus Proto-turds.

Such BS.

I think I will just try ordering all the good stuff from the website.

Well, I got Bumblebee, Jazz (he was my first one back in 84), and Barricade. Wanted Starscream but they didn't have any Voyagers. I'll go to another TRU later in the week.

The magnets look cool but I think I'll just go for more $5 gift cards from TRU.

Anyone who can't find the leader class megatron in the stores like I haven't been able to I found somewhere you can order it online. It is called etoys.com and they have leader class megatron in stock and even better any transformers order over 25.00 gets free shipping. So I ordered my megatron and will have him at my door within 5-7 days for just 39.99.

I just bit the bullet since I should have never passed up on the $7.99 deluxes at Target in the first place and ordered from the Hasbro Toys shop:

Wreckage Deluxe
Jazz Deluxe
Bumblebee Deluxe
Scorponok Deluxe

And the Alternators Sunstreaker

Took the free shipping but I was pretty damn pissed they charged me for tax...what the hell?!? Don't tell me they have a hasbro retail store out here in Cali.

The only Deluxe from the 1st wave I'm missing is Swindle...no loss there.

I may still end up picking up the 2 Leader classes, Megs and Optimus, just for the hell of it, along with Ratchet and Ironhide and maybe even Swindle. But those will be easy enough to find, if my experience is any indication. I should have picked up the 2 pack Blackout/Scorponok TRU exclusive when I had the chance.

And the funniest part about going into the one ghetto ass ToysRUs yesterday morning was one of the minimum wage peons telling me "well, even though these Deluxe ones are advertised and it IS just 10 minutes after opening, all the Deluxe ones could have been bought up. Some collectors buy a HUNDRED dollars worth of toys at a time!"

OH MY GOD, NOT A WHOLE HUNDRED DOLLARS WORTH! Must be a BIIIIIG baller!!! Is that supposed to impress me or something? I was about to spend twice that much that morning without blinking. So you're telling me some collector bought all of 9 or 10 deluxe figures...is that supposed to be the entire stock of them at the store?!? Give me a break. Just check in the back for any you were supposed to put out for the sale that morning, and either bring them out or tell me you haven't gotten any new inventory.

I don't know what it is with TRU.

I went on Sunday. They had restocked the Voyagers (all were available) and the Leaders (Megatron was missing). They were out of the Blackout/Scorponok 2 pack.

When I had gone earlier in the week, there were no Deluxes except the Snotformers. When I went back on Sunday, again...just the Snotformers. I went again today. Same as yesterday.

It seems there are a few possibilities:

1) They don't have the Deluxes (I guess Wal-Mart got them all?)
2) They have so many Snotformers that it hasn't occurred to anyone to put other Deluxes out
3) They're going to put them out when the sale is over, since it's a lot easier to zero in on $25 when you have lots of $10 toys.

It's probably #2.
