Picked up the mini Titanium Optimus Prime set (the one that comes with a protoform OP, truck version, and robot version). Going to stop by TRU tomorrow and hopefully pick up a Starscream and Bumblebee to get the $5 GC.

I finished almost everything I wanted to get from this wave over the past two days at TRU. Even had a little bonus.

TRU #1: Picked up the Blackout/Scorp combo and Barricade Legends, got $5 gift card and random survey coupon for $3.

TRU #2a: Picked up Leader Prime. I hand over survey coupon, but the cashier doesn't see it until too late. Apparently, once the gift card process is started, they can't apply coupons (it's part of the payment process?). Senior cashier nearby says let it through and she'll credit me the $3 and tax at the next register over. Got another random survey coupon with my $5 gift card.

TRU #2b: Senior cashier determines the easiest method to get me the three bucks is to return and re-purchase with coupon... which qualifies me for another $5 gift card. She comments it must be my lucky day and gives me the second card despite having seen me get the first.

TRU #3: I use my second survey coupon to pick up four Legends, a Real Gear, and a Mt Dew (total would have been 27.95 before $3 coupon). Got another $5 gift card.

I've now got $20 in TRU credit for wave 3 (or a game clearance).

I have yet to see any Titaniums...where are you guys finding these? Seriously, I checked a couple Targets and TRU and no Titaniums of the new movie figures what so ever.

After going to TRU and finally finding a scorpinox, I went over to a thrift store.

The thrift store had Tarantulus, Rattrap, and Dinobot from the 10th anniversary collection - all sealed. They were $9.98 each, but I figured that was still a good price for out of print transformers. Who would of thought you could find selead transformers at a thirft store.
Does anyone have trouble getting Barricade to stand up? If I don't get him balanced just right he falls face first.
I've had no problems with him at all. He was the first one I transformed and its fine. Check to see if the stomach part clicked with the bottom of the car/bottom of the chest. Once it clicks, its pretty stable.

I didn't even know where was a Titanium Optimus set. Is it for sale online anywhere?
$8 for an Alternator? Pretty good deal.

BTW are TRU Titanium Soundwaves rare? I've seen a few but, didn't have enough money.
He seems much less rare than the Titanium Rodimus that comes in the same wave... he also seems to be the dud of the recent Titanium releases.

If you're talking about the $30 Soundwave reissue, with Ravage and Laserbeak, that is a bit rarer... haven't seen any since the gift card promo started, though even at full price I have no complaints.

Yeah thats the one I'm talking about, they seem to go around ~$50 on 'bay.

Does ayone know if TRU is clearencing Cybertron TFs like Target?

BTW is Swindle priced at 6.99 everywere?

Well at least thats what the website says:

http://www.hasbro.com/transformers/default.cfm?page=Products/Detail&product_id=19696

Has anyone picked up the $4.99 or less Transformers Movie Legends? They are the mini versions of the transformers.

I'm kinda into smaller versions of figures now instead of the normal/big versions of stuff.

Anyway, if anyone has picked any of them up, I'd like to know how they are and where's the cheapest that you've seen them. I'm gonna go pick up Jazz today at Meijer. Hmmm Jazz... you shouldn't be a pontiac but I digress.
i want that set of constructicons at wal-mart so i can make devastator.
THAT, my good man, is no Devastator.

BTW you can order the 2 pack TRU exclusive off of amazon.com

And 6.99 for Swindle? Damn, the one Deluxe that I didn't order and it's 6.99. Nope, it's been the same price everywhere that I've seen it as the rest of the Deluxes. Someone at the Hasbro toy shop must have mistakenly classified it as a Scout instead of a deluxe. Either that, or it's because he's such a sucky car.

Don't know what's wrong with these damn transformers...all the cool ass earth vehicles, and they end up scanning Pontiacs, Saturns, Kias and Hyundais ;)

They need to take a drive out here in west LA where the $100K cars are a dime a dozen...

I'd love to see some Alternators of BMWs, Mercedes, Lambo's, Ferraris, Porsche etc.
You would figure for $4k it would transform too. Cheap bastards!!!
HAHAHA damn right! Hell, for 4K it better be able to at least transform AND speed me around the block at no less than 35 mph!!!
Here's a look at the upcoming Burger King Kids Meal toys:

If I was rich...I'd so buy that!
Doesn't seem like any of them transform.

It's a Target exclusive so you either have to look b&m or on the website. Here's a pic of what it looks like:

I am having a hell of a time finding Barricade anywhere. I've looked at a few stores now and the local TRU had literally 100 figures on the shelf and not one Barricade.
Hmmm Jazz... you shouldn't be a pontiac but I digress.
I think my girlfriend's dog would agree with you. He managed to get ahold of Jazz and proceeded to "alter" his look. We were both outside so when I come in I see him chewing on the shield since Jazz was in robot mode. Then I found the body in the backyard.

He must really hate the new design because he hasn't chewed on anything like that in years.

I really like the new Transformers, I purchased both of the 2-packs Bumblebee vs. Barricade from Wal-Mart, and Blackout and Scorpnok from Toys R US, and I got the giftcard! As tempting as they are I don't feel like opening them, but one figure I am going to buy to open is the '08 Camero Bumblebee which looks awsome. Heres the cool part, my roomate works at Disney here in Orlando, and theres a toy store in the shopping district called Once Upon a Toy where they sell nothing but Hasbro stuff. With his employee discount we can get a 35% discount on all of the Transformers. Thing is, we have to wait for them to come in the store, as I didn't see them come in yet.

Hey guys, I have a question, do any of you own the 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime, DVD version or not? I really want to get it, but I really woulden't have an idea on where to start looking for them

i have 2, 1 still in the box, the other for play....its probably much easier to find 1 online tho than in a store.....i see them at local coll. shops, but they're asking $100-120 for them...

I have the 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime, don't know if it has a DVD since I didn't open it. I am planning on getting another one and opening it. I think only the Toys R Us ones had the DVD? I got mine on clearance at Fry's, but should have bought another. I still see them at some Fry's, but all of the heads are popped off! And they still want something like $40+ for them!
so, is the RoboVision Optimus any good? i've been pondering whether to get the RoboVision or the Leader Class.
I loved it. I thought it was totally worth it. I just can't seem to justify a $40 version that has lights and sounds and is a tad bigger.
I think only the Toys R Us ones had the DVD?
It just had the DVD label (on all of the new ones) because it was a "celebration" of the 20th Anniversary release of the movie.

As far as I know, none of them came with an exclusive DVD. Only thing I can remember being different about the TRU one is that they wanted 80 bucks for it.

I absolutely love both of them. They are completely different molds/transformations (in case anyone thinks one is just a super sized version of the other).

Both are very original, very different concepts on transforming a truck into a robot, and I was surprised at how completely different they were from each other (the transformations have nearly nothing in common with each other).

Robovision Prime is great to have around if you like to display your stuff, as he is in much better scale to the others, whereas Leader Prime is a giant amongst them.

If you've got the cash, buy both. I don't think you will be dissappointed.

Warning: Avoid Leader Megatron unless you are a completest (like me). I don't remember being so dissapointed in a TF figure since a tie between Omega Supreme and the "quintison" guy in Energon. Decent bot mode, but wtf is that "jet mode" trying to be. If it didn't tell you what it was, you proly wouldn't guess. It's almost like seeing a TF at a garage sale that a kid tried to TF, but failed, so is just laying in a heap of sprawled pieces. Problem is, this time it's supposed to look like that...

DOH! My recommendation is to just spend the cash and get the Masterpiece Megatron...sure it'll run you $100+, but my God is it beautiful.

Now I just need to get an extra one to open, along with an extra 20th Prime/Masterpiece Convoy so I can have them fighting it out.

Hopefully Hasbro will at least release the Masterpiece Starscream stateside. I'd gladly pay $75+ for it.

As far as diappointment goes, yeah Omega will do that to you, but at least his robot mode isn't SO horrendous.

Supposedly slated for a US release, but I can't confirm it very well. Just random posts on message boards.

If anyone knows anything more about it, I'd love to know. This thing would be the perfect companion to Prime.

A guy on ebay has them in hand already I am trying to find out when they will be available in the stores. It was deluxe Arcee, Bumblebee 2008, and Dreadwing.

Does anyone know when the next wave will be coming out? I have tried every website I can think of and nothing. I mean the wave with Voyager Optimus Prime and Megatron and deluxe Arcee, Bumblebee 2008 and Dreadwing.

Just found out about these and went over to radio shack and picked up all 3 because as soon as people find out about them they will be gone. There is Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Barricade very cool looking. You can check them out on the radio shack website. They are 19.99 but I think they are worth it. There is also a radio control Starscream that flies very cool but it is 39.99 and I decided to wait on that right now.

Just picked up Starscream and another Jazz since the dog hated the new design and gave it some "battle damage."

Does the RC Starscream transform too? Doubt it, but that would be sweet.

Unfourtunately none of the zip zaps or Starscream transform but they are still really cool. They do have another version at radio shack of Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Barricade. They come with a little gun that you set them on to charge and those do transform and are also RC but not as cool as the zip zaps and they also come in crappy packaging.

Leader sized Megatron is a dud when compared to the incredible Leader sized Optimus. Robot Mode is ok, but he's hobbled by kibble (his head can't even move because of this) and all for that crappy spaceship mode. At least he's big enough and pretty imposing.

To top it off, both of his robot mode features are "broken": the "cannon on his left arm doesn't stay deployed because of a spring, and his whip hand on his right arm doesn't shoot out because of the lack of a spring. Taking the arms apart and moving the spring from the left gimmick to the right gimmick improves the toy a lot.

There is some speculation that these were somehow reversed in the factory, as the whip hand CLEARLY has a tab and room for a spring, and the "fusion cannon" as spring operated. I may end up cracking mine open and seeing what I can do...

I don't think it's necessarily a factory screw up... while the whip hand is obviously missing a spring, the fusion cannon hand has a place for the spring, as stupid as it is. More likely it's some kind of lame safety issue (even though the hand can't really fire that far, as it's attached to the whip). After putting the spring in that arm, it does fire really well...
speaking of screw ups...... WTF is this shit!!!!!!
i really hope they change the design to this.... :puke:
Yeah, that looks like complete ass. I guess the people who did (are doing?) Teen Titans are working on it, which gave me hope, but shit, that just looks bad. I can only hope the toy line is essentially classics, and that they TV series is goofy stories based on that, because from that pic, there is no toy in the world that can be done. Also, I read that transforming will be done through "spinning around in a whirling torndo" type quick change. Prime runs forward, does a Tazmanian Devil spin, is now a truck driving forward.

Oh well, hope it will at least be a fun, if not good, show.
