Are the remakes of the G1 toys all plastic? I don't remember the G1 toys haveing some metal parts on them but I know some one that collects all of them and said the original ones had some metal on them.
 
The first wave of 1984 TFs had some diecast metal in it. I believe the reissues were close in construction to the originals.
 
ok just to make sure we are talking about the same reissues i'm not talking about the ones some call the G2 series. I'm talking about the new ones like the new Prime that came out from toys r us and the sound wave that is about to come out.

Got my tickets for the 8:40 show tonight. A bunch of friends who saw a screening last week had nothing but good things to say, so I'm pretty pumped.

You just put a quantity into your shopping cart and when it says out of stock that means there isn't that many so you just keep lowering the number until it says you can buy that amount. Right now there is about 100 left.

Anyone know when they went up? I'd been checking periodically, but the boss caught me and told me to get to work, lol.
 
I was ordering at the same time you two were, accidentally pressed back, and now I just finished my order. I hope it works. I was fooling around and put 20 in and it said nope, but when I put 1 in it still took my order. It still let me check out so I hope we all got our Primes. You can't even add it to your cart anymore. Here's to hoping for the best. Thanks Linkin Prime!

On another note, did anyone get a pre-order in for Sports Label Ultra Magnus?

They were scheduled to go up today 7/2. I checked at 7:30am PT and they were up. Not sure when it actually started though.
 
Apparently I'd have to pay $50 bucks on eBay for one. Are these prices gonna shoot up even more ridiculously or should I just hold out and hope a good one lands on there sometime?
 
Hmm, no way in hell would I have bought that. Not sure why anyone bought it. Just cause it's a different version? Meh, not my taste. Though I would have bought a few to resell on Ebay so I guess it's good I didn't see this before.

I'm torn between keeping and reselling myself, if only they made a Mountain Dew Megatron, I'd buy 3.
 
With 100 a day being given away for the MD Transform your summer game these will be far from rare. I wouldn't pay premium for this. Just wait till the game is over in Aug and they are all shipped out and this fall Ebay should have a bunch in the $20 range.

so only the Subaru Impreza is left? Those Star Wars figs for ~$2 is quite a good deal...

BTW the damn Hasbro Toy Shop package I ordered never arrived. They are re-shipping it. God damn USPS...of course there was no ability to track it or delivery confirmation or anything. It had BETTER get here complete and minty fresh this time.

They "lost the molds" apparently. The closest you'll get to getting a rerelease is the mini ones that are from Justitoys I think. In the new cartoon, there will be 3 dinobots however, one of which includes Grimlock.

sounds like the excuse Kenner used to have with the Star Wars toys about 15 years ago....its funny though since even if they lost the molds wouldnt they just be able to recreate it as closely as possible
 
Makes sense to me, that thing was huge. Bonecrusher should have been leader class as well. He's the same size as Optimus Prime in the movie.

Don't worry about the GT. Mirage hasn't been in stock there for nearly a year now. They just leave the page up to taunt us.

I placed an order, and they actually let me add it to the cart. My confirmation email says its in stock too. I'll be skeptical until I have it in my hands, though. This happened with Amazon about a year ago, and they just never ended up shipping it (I eventually cancelled after 4 months of waiting).
 
So what store has the overall best deal going on? Just got back from the movie and definitly want to pick up a few more. Amazon has this spend 25 get 5 off deal, but is that better than hasbros 10% off? WM, Target and whoever else really doesn't have much going on.

Hmm, Fred Meyer has buy 2 get 1 free right now I think, but they're usually a buck over the regular price and cruddy selection anyway.

Checked my Pepsi Optimus status. I guess while I was screwing around right before I checked out someone else bought the last one because my status says backordered. Anyone get theirs delivered yet?
 
Got a confirmation saying mine shipped, and literally less than a minute after I ordered mine they were gone, so looks like I just got one.
