I saw this instore today picked it up 16.XX after a GGC! ;) Forgot to add Drakengard 2 was this price also. Altho there were none in stock at my BB.

added the warriors on topic for PS2/xbox

thanks to: Strider

Thanks OP. I've been waiting to play this one. Too bad its not on their website, or I could just price match it somewhere easily.
Eh... this will go alot cheaper, I think.
Yep, it will. They both suck too much to not go cheaper.

Yea, no Drakengard 2 on the website... damn.

Eh... nevermind. Reviews paint this game as overwhelmingly mediocre. I expect CC to clearance this one out someday.
I'm probably going to just grab Trapt now, as my local Best Buy is the only place that has more than one or two copies of it.
That's what I was thinking - people waiting on Trapt to get cheaper may not get it at all. I know most stores around here don't seem to have many copies of it, if they have it at all.

Anyway, IMO these are both really good games and well worth $15 AC.

Trapt is probably one of the better versions of the Tecmo's Deception series so far. It still suffers from a lot of the "damn I didn't time it right, have to do it ten more times" repetition but it's a smooth game with cool graphics.

The only real thing I didn't like was that they change the names of a couple of characters in the text but you can clearly hear their real name in the japanese dialog, I do how ever think the main character's name change was justified it's just annoying to know it was done.

Drakengard 2 will definatly be on my purchase list assuming they still have a copy when I get up there, The first might have been a little heavy handed but I think the second ropped it in a bit.

Hmmm -- I wish I could say Trapt is worth $15 -- but it isn't -- even if you wait til it drops further and end up not getting it -- well, you saved yourself money to spend on a better game, and man, they're plenty of 'em.

This game isn't good at all -- buggy controls, repetitive action -- unless you love torture porn (ala hostel) or just like staring at a sexy female lead (albeit with bad gameplay), then I'd recommend passing on this. This game just isn't fun.

I picked up Trapt when it went down to $20 at Gamecrazy. Didn't think I'd see it drop in price again and especially at BB. I don't think mine even carried the game. If I see a Drakengard 2 I'll be sure to pick it up either after GGC or the other coupon.
I think I'll pick up Drakengard 2 for collector's sake. Thanks OP.
Why is it so collectible?
The Warriors on ps2/xbox is also down to $20.
I actually found a copy used at a GameCrazy for 15 bucks.
If anybody actually ever even SEES a Warriors at a best buy inform me... because I would just like to know. Hell I havent seen it new ANYWHERE around here at all period.

It seems like the most elusive game in the Chicagoland area.

The Best Buy here (Eugene OR) has about 10 copies of Warriors on PS2 and 5 or so of it on Xbox on the shelves.

In my BB, the Warriors, JAX 3, One Piece for PS2 are marked down to $10 each, not $19.99, so I think it's YMMV for that title.

The BB in Sunnyvale has about 3 copies of Drakengard 2 and Trapt. I did not check on Warriors and they have no copies of Drill Dozer.

You can add Lego Star Wars for the Game Cube to the list of Best Buy mark down, I know it $20 at Gamestop and EB but now you can pick it up for 15 with a gamers gift card coupon which I did today might end up get Trapt, I also pickup a few games at CC and a new copy of Tomb Raider Legends for the xbox 360 for $40 at Kmart :hot:
0 copies of drakengard 2 and warirors at the bb i went to today.
Which one did you go to? I want a Drakengard, dont wanna waste a trip going to the same one you went to.

Just bought Drakengard 2 with $5 off coupon, w00t!!

For those who can't find Drakengard 2 in BB, you might want to try pricematch from CC or other stores. The price is $19.99 in every BB I went to.

I bought PoP Two Thrones and Drakengard 2 for $15 each with two GGC's... cashier even said "You've done this before, haven't you" since I bought the gift cards right there, put $16.04 on each (game + tax) and then rang up each game seperate and used the GGC's

My BB was down to only three copies of Trapt when I stopped by today so I went ahead and grabbed one... all the other stores in the area never even had that many, and I don't want to risk it becoming even mildly hard to find when it'll probably only drop a few more dollars at best.

My BB has a lot of Warriors.

If you didn't get Warriors for the CC sale, I can vouch for it being worth $19.99 - $5(GGC). It is an excellent brawler in a genre which has floundered in this generation.

Hint: If you're a genre and your best games for this generation are Minority Report (Unfinished yet enjoyable.) and Beat Down (Poorly coded all around. I enjoyed it, but this is the sort of game you have to WANT to like to like.), you're in a bad way. Thankfully, Warriors has bailed you out... FOR NOW.

I saw Warriors on clearance in my BB for $10....possibly YMMV I guess.

Good deal here.

Grabbed the one remaining Drakengard 2 with $5 off gc coupon. I actually ended up liking the first one (and bought it early at $30), but decided to wait this one out for a deal.

$15 definitely does the trick.

I was planning to stop by BB today anyway, so I'll keep an eye out for Drakengard 2.

I LOVED Drakengard 1, so I've been looking for a deal on this one.

The BB computer said that it has one copy of Drakengard 2 at the BB I was at, but I couldn't find it anywhere.

A shame, because it would have rang up $19.99. I hope I can get another deal on the game soon.

No Trapt's at my closest Best Buy, so I drove some 20 minutes to the next one and found the last one. Shelf tag still marked $49.99, which probably explains why it was still there. Incidentally, the other cheap games had $9.99 shelf tags.

For Orlando CAG's keeping track, Waterford Lakes and East Colonial Best Buys = no more Trapt. Also, no Death Jr or Nightmare Before Christmas at the E. Colonial store.

Drakengard 2 is AWESOME!!! It honestly found itself a place on my top games of all time list because of how freaking awesome the last few levels are.

If you liked the first one at all, you will LOVE this one. Its a LOT faster, there's more variety in the weapons, and there's 5 playable characters (counting Legna the dragon)!!! Granted some levels feel unnecessary, but the gameplay is fun and the story actually does tie into that of the first once you get deepr into the game.

I'm working on getting the 2nd ending (of 3), but the 2nd time through you have to play on Hard mode and the 3rd time its on EXTREME mode. :O
The last couple bosses are friggin HARD!

I don't think anything can top the 5th secret ending of Drakengard 1 tho...

I picked up Drakengard 2 today with the $5 off coupon. I still need to get the first one. I have been holding out for finding it for less than $20. I suppose I should go see if Lamestop still has it.
