It takes like 3-5 weeks... depending on their shipping sched.
 
Looks to me like this has had the shit milked right out of it. I've won 800 points since I started, but I'd still like to get a gamepack. The odds of getting one of those are slim though, considering there's a bunch of people with 20+ copies. Ugh.

It's not the exact beginning of the month, but within the first week or so and for me it covered everything I had won in the month before.

Thanks! I've just started this a few hours ago and have earned 600 MS Points and 1 game pack. Not bad!
 
I've played about 200+ times. Won 100 MS points and a faceplate. Both on the first 5 tries. I did those during the Laker game, I've been doing the rest at like 12AM. Maybe time is a factor?

Started off well this morning by winning 300 MS points in about 10 min. After that I played solid for just over an hour (3-4 entries per min) and won NOTHING! :wall:. I suppose I can't really complain though.
 
From what I've seen, it seems that we've milked this down to the core. Tropicana actually LOST money from this contest. The only thing you can get that's worth it are the MS points. Even now, the gamepacks are only worth a small amount of money, since if you get more than one, you can't do much with it except sell it for some money. You're never going to need more than one faceplate. It's all supply and demand. The captcha is so god damn fucking annoying.

Not really. The people that bought the drink for the code or for the taste (which is probably a low amount) can still enter their code on the site and COULD win. But, we all know that's a small chance. Gamepacks are still out there, so are the VIP packages. It's not like they keep restocking the item, they're only giving out a set amount. So once that amount is gone, all of that item is gone. The 100 ms points and the faceplates will probably always be available though.
 
Tropicana won't have lost any money from this promo at all. They should actually have made money since this is after all a publicity promo. It really doesn't make any difference to them if we enter 1000+ times a day. They'll already have a set number of prizes which are already bought/bugeted and paid for (or free depending on how M$ is involved in the deal).

I'm not sure how the prize system is set up but I'd have thought it was set to only allow a certain number of gifts a day. This way there is still a chance to win all the way until it ends in Feb (?). That might be the reason why a lot of people claim to win more in the morning (seems like most of the stuff I get is in the morning). Although apart from winning 300 points this morning I havn't won a single thing in over 200 tries today!.
 
I understand JimmyH, if you look on my other post on page 90[I get max posts/page] I said that this contest seems like Winzy, certain prizes at certain times.

Still, of all of the times that we've done this using the set promo code AA4XPN3, that's alot of money tropicana THINKS they're getting. I never buy those drinks anyways, Sprite Zero for the win.


I think that the XBL codes are from a set time for sure, since everyone seems to be getting them either 5 or 100 times after their tries

True...but that would be a more complicated script for the contest. And this contest is very exploitable, I mean, no password character limit, no confirm email, not even real email needed? I highly doubt it.

It's like having a lottery that anyone can control to some extent(the numbers), and then having it so some people who buy a certain type of ticket automatically win something

How frustrating though, I get up early at 6 am to play 200 tries on this game in a desperate attempt to win a VIP. All I want is one VIP then I can quit this blasted game. Hopefully you can see where my frustration is coming from?

it's #3 for me... all in a little more than a week lol... I guess I've won like 3 out of the last 8 or something like that? heh... crazy. I never expect to win it at this time in the am because it's always SUPER slow spitting out prizes... like I'll go 20-30 minutes without winning a thing and then I'll win like 100 points and then 30 min drought again... then I just hit it. I kind of feel bad about winning a bunch, but I have put so many tireless hours into this game, I feel like I should get some compensation for it :)

Somehow I missed this until today. 42 tries and 100 MS points. I am officially hooked and I know what I'll be doing at work all day today since I have nothing to do.

I've seen quite a few people selling them in batches of 100 on eBay. That might seem wrong to some people but you have spent a lot of your own time collecting them. Personally I've stopped bothering to copy and paste them. I'll use some for my other live accounts and maybe sell/give away the rest.

Okay okay.. I just won another game pack. What the hell, I'm trying to get points damn it! Anyone want to trade some points for it? I haven't put my info on the link yet. Come on, I know someone wants to give me a handful of points. I've traded in so many of these at GS now, they helped me buy my 360 to begin with haha. Now they only trade in for chump change though.

Whats going on with the site now??. It keeps going back to the main page after you enter the word verification or even if you just click "I dont have an access code" link. Have we milked it dry/broken it or is it just a problem at my end??.

I've actually printed a list of codes to use for me personally. Free Xbox Live for me. Yes, I'm that cheap.
