OK, so, I go into Toys R Us, find the games I want, then leave to visit an ATM. I come back 5 minutes later, go to grab my games, but right before I reach them, this nasty bitch employee comes and takes me out of theing store!

I stopped by TRU today after work. They didn't have any of the 4 titles I was after. (RE4, Halo 2 LE, DDS, or Area 51.)
It was crowded as hell. On my way out, there was this guy. He had a truck with a plow. He was trying to make it into a parking spot, but couldn't make it. He would have hit a car. He decides to back up, and goes a little too fast. I'm behind him, and it doesn't look like he sees me. I decided to beep, just to be safe, and just to let him know I was there. This guy gets pretty damn angry at me. He gets out of his truck, yells something that I can't hear, gets back in his truck, and drives off. I start to leave, and he shakes his fist at me. After that, he flips me off, I flip him off, then I go home. Exciting trip, eh?

Went to my TRU, they had a huge table filled with all the games right as you enter the store! Course my TRU still has the slips you bring to the front to get the game from the back cause our R-zone is tiny. Picked up RE4, Doom 3 and Pikmin 2.

Made two trips:
the first one was at 8 this morning. I was the only person there for a good 10 minutes before others started coming in to get the games. Luckily I had already gotten my main wants:

Then I went back before lunch to try and get a few things for Cags, alas there was no Re4, but I managed to get another Metal Slug 4/5 for a CAG and an extra Pikmin 2 in addition to Hitman Contracts. There was still plenty of good stuff when I left such as Tekken 5, Golden Sun, DKC 2, Dark Cloud 2, Conker, Doom 3 LE, Haunting Grounds and others. To round out the day, I went to GS and got a pennied out Xenosaga 2 LTD ED guide, then went to a great chinese buffet. Good stuff. I may go back tommorow to check for any RE4's that may have turned up for a CAG, and to pick up Dark Cloud 2 before someone else gets it.

Well everything worked out fine for us! We purchased and PAed at two different TRUs: Brockton, MA, and Peabody, MA. Both success stories.
The CS girls at Brockton were of course doubtful of my claim that the games I purchased were now a lower price. They were looking through the flyer trying to find this "sale". I told them if they just ring the games in, the sale price would come up. Of course, it did, and they were stunned. Then there was a moment where the presumable CS shiftleader was saying, "I have to see if I can give them to her for that price." I thought, "Oh oh." She scanned them into a regular register and said, "Well, if she went to buy them now, she'd be paying $9.98 anyway, so, go ahead." They returned the 5 games I originally bought there, and then rescanned them, so the total was a credit of ~$160. Quick and simple.
At the Peabody TRU, they Price Adjusted the 20 games purchased there on my receipt. I brought in the big bag of games to make it easier, so they could scan the UPCs instead of typing them in. All of the young CS reps were like "Wow cool, that's ridiculous!", and this one old fat ugly bitch was suspicious:
"How did you find out about this?"
I have a friend that works at another TRU, and he told me about it earlier.
"What's his name?"
Uhhh........Ben.
"This seems like insider trading to me."
She asked a million questions, but everything finally went off without a hitch. The main girl I was dealing with was nice. She said she was going to try and grab some of the sale games for her BF, and she wouldn't have even known about it if I hadn't PA'd!
I went back to check the videogames section, looking for games for other CAGs. They didn't have much left, but I did end up buying the last Samurai Western. The guy in front of me had a whole bunch of pages printed out...from the Fat Wallet forums. He was buying a couple of games, and these Wireless Xbox media centers for $2. He left his Fat Wallet pages on the desk after he left, all I could do was shake my head.
So, looking at the loot, this was definately our best haul of all time. I would say that this sale definately gives the $5 CC sale a run for its money for "Best Sale Ever" (especially since so many people got what they wanted, and availability was generally high).
Thanks again to benboxer, people like you keep CAG alive and strong.
Didn't buy anything... saw lots of stuff, but realized it would be a waste since I'd never play any of it, and Best Buy is putting some amazing games on sale for $19.99 after coupon next week.
Kind of shocked myself, but I didn't think I'd honestly get 9.98 worth of enjoyment out of Samurai Western.

I got Pikmin 2, Killer7, Psychonauts and Golden Sun: TLA. A week ago I returned copies of DDS and VQ GC I bought there hoping that at least VQ would be there when I went back - I'm kicking myself for it now. 
So I snagged someone's Ebay copy of VQ for $18.98 shipped...

I don't know what it is about these games, but I can never get them when they go on sale: FF I&II (GBA), Metal Slug Advance (GBA), and so far this TRU $10 clearance is no different.
Still, I did get RE4, Fight Night Round 2 (GCN), Mario Pinball (GBA), Ham Ham Games (GBA), and Darkstalkers (PSP). Overall, I'm pretty stoked, even though I had to do everything online.

I was able to snatch pretty much everything I wanted...although my TRU was sold out of Darkstalkers, Digital Devil Saga, and Resident Evil 4. Some of the games that I hid got found, which made me disappointed. But oh well! Here's what I got:

So I also snagged the last 2 boxes of these PSX games for $5 total for both of them.

Story short. I went to my 4th TRU in hopes to find Dynasty Warriors 5 for the PS2. I noticed that had a couple of cases behind the counter and went in line. I waited for 30-45 mins and when I got there, they were all display cases. They even checked the back and no luck. I was really bummed out on that.

Kinda sucks too because I was looking for Pikmin 2, Metal Slug 4/5 and another DDS for friends but they were all display cases. But I'll probably go back tomorrow and see if someone returned Dynasty Warriors 5.

I just came back from TRU in Colma, CA and unsurprisingly there was nothing left. I just picked up Project Snowblind and price adjusted Resident Evil 4, Pikmin 2, and Killer 7.

I am really confused why some many have reported that they are getting grilled by suspicious employees? It doesn't make a whole lot of sense to make the customer feel like they are doing something wrong, they are taking advantage of an "unadvertised" sale that meant to clear out old games.

Did you not check the Pearlridge TRU? There were at least 10 copies of FF I&II there.

I think some employees don't like it that we are getting in on a deal that they had no idea about. Normally they would get first dibs on the games since they work there but if we know about the sale first, they probably missed out on some games.

I just got back. As expected, most games I wanted were sold out, but I managed to snag the following:
Doom 3 (Xbox)
Star Ocean w/bonus DVD (PS2)
Unreal Championship 2 (Xbox)
Pariah (Xbox)
I plan to trade in Pariah at Gamerush... Since it goes for $40-50 new at most places, I hope to get a decent amount of credit to put toward Animal Crossing: Wild World if my fiancee doesn't get it for me (which she will if it's not out of stock). If she gets me that, I'll use the credit toward a PS2 game, since I now have a grand total of 2, hehe.
But hey, I still have yet to even open Burnout Revenge, X-Men Legends Part Deux, and Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes from TRU's buy 2 get 1 free sale, so it's not like I needed anymore games.

I bought all but 3 of these early. Every decent game from this sale, aside from FF2, was available before today in my area. I would have liked to have bought Conker and Metal Slug, but I ran out of cash when I pre-bought and they were gone by the time I got around to going out earlier today.
Hopefully we'll see more deals like this from TRU in the future.

Today I went to TRU around 6:30 or 7 and I know a bunch of people who work there. So, I went and asked one of my buddies and he brought me to the bins for this sale. I instantly looked for RE4 but couldn't find it. I asked if they had anymore and he told me no. So, thinking I'd been beaten, I went to the 360 section to see the faceplates and he comes over to me like five minutes later with a copy of RE4 in hand and says "$9.98". I must have looked happy cause he looked like he caused a great thing in the world lol.
On an unrelated note, my ex-girlfriend's brother works there now (news to me) and he told me that we won a raffle for a chance to buy a 360. So, he has one as of now. He'll break it though cause his whole house is carpeted and he's used to puttin his PS2 on the carpet.

Why does he place his game systems on carpet?
He doesn't have a Entertainment Center or a shelf of some sort. I would never place anything on carpet since most likely it would get trampled.
