Think about it. One.Billion.Dollars. You could do whatever you wanted whenever you wanted. No boss or job ever again.
Money. Hands down, not much thought involved.
More like a knee-jerk reaction than thought. Billion dollars is a lot of money ... hell I'd quit working this very second.
One billion dollars buys true love, look at Donald Trump and his next future wife.
I'm fixing your grammatical error ... "... future wives:

Maybe if it were 10 billion-or 100 billion...but just 1 billion?...I'm pretty sure I could run through that before my life is over.

I'd take true love.
wow you guys sure have your priorities...
My priority is money.
I am a firm believer money buying happiness.

Fine. 100 billion dollars. Is that enough?

IF the choice was money ($1 BILLION) and being alone for the rest of your life I would pick not being alone.

With the money, you could be happy, but it would wear off, and instant gratification doesnt last long in this world. Hookers would be fun, but then you would find that life is not about just sex. Eventually, you would spend the money, with inflation and all (IKIK), but then when the money is gone, you are all alone.

I take it back, I would find my true love, who would have be a billionaire herself. SCORE!!

a billion dollars.....you would be an idiot to pass up money like that. with a billion dollars you could buy a full time staff of playboy playmates and sex them up full time!!!

life is about sex, nothing more.....

I can't imagine using up a billion dollars because I would have no need to buy like a casino (Donald Trump lost 400 million from his casinos), or like a $50 million palace.

Just accruing interest on $60 million you can live comfortably for the rest of your life if you aren't a person of excess (spend only a million a year or so). A billion $ is a helluva lot of money ... but apparently not for some people ;)

I'm kinda proud to be the first to outright say love.
What's with the broken heart pic?
Just 'cause I'd take true love doesn't mean I've been overly successful in a recent endeavor or two. *g*

But it comes from this:

meh... i would say the billion... true love is not too high on my list of prioritys ;)

im sure being a 16 year old billionaire i could get all the poontang i wanted anyway LMAO!

This isn't some link to an animal sex movie is it? :) j/k ... anyways, I was just curious since you were posting about how you would take true love. I'm sure you will find someone for you, it took me a long time to find someone that would tolerate me let alone care about me :)

Money doesn't buy happiness... but I'd much rather be crying in a Limo as compared to a Yugo.

You bring up a good point about interest, I never factored that into the equation, then again, I never said I would spend the money wisely.

Think about all the child support you would be paying for all that sex... youd go broke in a few years, if you shag that much.

If it is either the cash or the true love... without a doubt true love. I wouldn't give up my wife for a billion dollars.

I think most people can agree here that when they had money in their hands and were able to spend it freely and feel like a King felt a lot better than not having anything and peddling around like a bum.

*l* Nah, it's not. I understand your concern, however.

Nah, I"m not worried about that, I know I will. I've done it before, and while I fucked that up, I'll find it again. I'm just impatient. *g*

Thanks, though.

As for the rest of you greedy bastids...

Yeah. I think we're seeing the age difference start to show up in this msg. If you're under, oh, 20, maybe, I suspect a lot would say the money.

Trust me, unless you're one of those people who can't quite understand there's more to life and love than sex, your thoughts will change. If you're someone who's just about out of college (~22 years old), and facing a life of uncertainty and singularity...yeah, it's nice having that someone there. The money will come, as long as you have a decent work ethic. The girl's a little harder to come by.

Some of you are absolutely goddamn fucking pathetic.

True love, no question, even if it was all the money in the world. Nothing could amount to the happiness.

id have to guess that people taking the money havent really been in love, i mean if i hadnt, i might be inclined to take the money too.

if theres one thing ive learns is that money comes and goes...theres times when i have a good amount in the bank, and theres times when i have $1.60 in the bank, but someone that truley loves you will stick by you through those times no matter what

I don't think you've ever met a suitcase full of ben franklins!

and besides some of us don't believe in true love.

If I could get it, I'd take true love. True love is something that only fate can provide IMO. It's a once-in-a-lifetime thing that most people don't experience. Most people settle. They are with someone simply for the sake of not being alone. I have been in love before but I can honestly say it wasn't true love because while the depth of my feelings were great, the girl I loved didn't love me as much in the end. That's part of the reason I stay single now. I refuse to settle for just anyone. I'd much rather be alone than to spend the rest of my life with someone just to keep from being alone.

I know I went off on a tangent there but oh well...

Right now I have more love than I do money, so being the greedy human that I am I lean towards money at the moment

Out of all seriousness, a billion dollars is an awful lot of money. I mean anything above a $100 million I can truly say I would be tempted after looking at all those greenbacks ...

Wanna know an interesting fact?

A pretty good portion of the suicide rates in the US are from rich americans.

Why?

Because they finally fucking figured out that money does not = happiness.
