TSD's Collection Pics - 56k Beware:Huge Pics - Updated 5/12/5
i know this is a uber late bump and all, but i got here from your sig, and jesus i just have to say im impressed.... and now you can all get mad at me for bumping
thanks....and dont worry about the bump...its only been 2 days since the last person posted in this thread before you....before that last set of people posted, their was something like a 20 day period...
Nice collection TSD, I'm more for quality over quantity but 500+ PS2 games is pretty damned impressive. Nice shelves too...
I think with his collection, it's quantity and quality.
I think with his collection, it's quantity and quality.
that's pretty much it....considering the price that i paid on all of those games, everything is quality....you may look at something on my shelf that isn't a great game by far, but when you find out that i paid under $5 for it, you start to understand...btw, ill probably post some new pics within the next few days

To each their own I guess, I grew out of the buying games for the sake of increasing my collection a long time ago, now it's mainly RPGs and the occasional action/adventure game that catches my eye...

Also, is your IGN list up to date or is some of you collection just not pictured because it looks like you have more games listed than what's shown...

my ign list is always up to date...those pictures are probably close to a year old now

but i know what you're talking about...if i were to ever sell off my collection, id keep the rpgs for sure...other than that, id keep the stand-out games such as god of war, gitaroo man, rez, etc

Ok where do you work at i want to file an application. EDIT ok i really didnt have time to read 8 pages but i read the thing a few posts up. So yeah if your just one guy thats awesome.

Nice Playstation collection. I wonder how much of that stuff actually gets playtime from you ;)

Especially Tomba! and Tomba 2
i have no idea how im gonna find time to play em all...after every time i beat a game, its seriously about an hour decision on which game i should play next....
I think it might actually take a good few years to actually sit down and play all of those. Although, some may not be worth it (RUN FROM CS, RUN). lol nice collection though, it really is amazing.

It’s a nice collection. But I’m more impressed on how organized everything is. Shelves are spaced out perfect to fit the game cases. Efficient use of space.
Impressive as always. You do have more Greatest Hits titles than I would have thought for someone who's a dedicated collector.
i actually don't consider myself a collector...id like to think of myself as more of an "enjoyer"....meaning i enjoy my games....i enjoy looking at them and i enjoy playing them....i dont have to have everything non-gh, non-ph, non-pc...but i do have to have everything complete and brand new....unless of course it's a rare or old game that is impossible to purchase brand new

thanks though for the compliment...you and everyone else ;)

Hey trust, did you ever think of putting all of those games into DS cases? It might cost a little bit with all the games you have, but it'd look great on your shelf.

I don't know, just wondering. :)
This is the first time I have seen this thread. I just wet myself. Holy fuck!
Yeah, I completely ruined my pants at looking at your collection TSD.

Hot damn. The Sin City posters are nice, and the tidbits of vida guerra are a nice touch here and there. Did you ever think about what would happen if and earthquake happened while you were on the computer?

You... beat... my... PS1 collection........

WAHA BUT I HAVE YOU BEATEN AT SNES WAAHAHAHAHA

Edit: Please don't prove me wrong... ;_;

Edit 2, because I felt like a jackass not expressing my awe of your collection: your collection and layout are both incredibly impressive. I think it is the single most impressive collection of anything I have ever seen!
You. Yeah, you TSD.

Those cases are doing a horrible injustice to your collection.
while that's the coolest thing in the world, i have no idea how id do it....i dont have a program such as photoshop (which it says you need) and now im officially pissed....someone should make them by request and sell them off....now im officially pissed because i cant have something that i dont want, but i NEED....thanks evilmax17...you've ruined my day

by the way...thanks again to everyone who continues to compliment my collections....and snotknocker: unfortunately, i do have a life....i say unfortunately because i wish i didn't...so id have more time to play :bomb:

I don't think you need Photoshop (unless you want to create new covers). There are a ton of covers already created, so you just need a decent color printer to print them out (or go to Kinko's or Office Max or somewhere and get them to do it).

well im an idiot when it comes to this type of stuff...so i wonder how much it would cost me to have someone else do 100 of them for me :whistle2:#

Awesome collection! Now the real question, what percentage of those games where Cheapass purchases and how many at a normal price?

it would be insane to know the exact figures, but out of the 942 games that i own...i probably only bought about 15 at full price....the majority of those were probably because i bought them at launch....ive probably used a good 75 GGCs....im sure ive bought around 200 of my games from ebay and a good 200 from Circuit City's madness sales

I wonder if you could use the GIMP instead of photoshop. It's a free, open source program that's very similar to Photoshop.

Yup! I think it's been tested and GIMP prints them out fine.

Hey what happened to all the pics? It shows "Photobucket quota exceeded" or something! Can you transfer the pics to another host or something? Great collection TSD, just wanted to see it again :)

Yeah, I couldn't see them either. I was looking forward to the update as I remember the first round of pics (very impressive). I'm working towards what you have but I've got a ways to go. ;) I do like how everything is organized too. Once I finish my basement there will be a large section for gaming. If it turns out half as good as I imagine it, it'll be sweet!

all (but one) of the pictures are showing up for me...it must've been something temporary or i just have a super computer :booty:
good job bryan ! if i had all those games what else would i have time for , you tell me please !
it's actually been about a month since ive even played a game

between watching dvds, my job, g/f, sleep & family....i haven't had the time...and it hurts...a lot

im actually looking forward to the next-gen systems to come out...that'll give me time to catch up on a good bit of these because i never buy a system at launch....i usually wait a good year or two....though i have a lot more money now than i did...so that may all change...either way....each and every last one of my games will get at least 5 minutes of play in my life-time

I thought I was the only continued to pile up the games as if they were going out of style, while not having nowhere near the time to play them all :)

I got the wife, the dogs, the pool, yard in constant need of cutting, the house, planning an upcoming vacation, trying to get back in running shape..etc...

The one day I thought I would have for a few hours of gaming goodness (yesterday)... the wife decides to invite her family over for ribs and a swim... not that I dont mind that at all... oh well... I look at these purchases and keep alot of them sealed, just in case I dont decide to ever play it, I can at least recoup my money easily... then again I love collecting, and enjoy finding bargains through CAG...

Excellent collection BTW... I think I stand right now around 700 games spread out over 13 or 14 systems... but yours is awesome

close your eyes and pick

Damn, that's insane O_O
Positive insane O_O
Value of all? ($3,000-5,000)?
And yeah, I hear you... It's been quite a while since I played a "solid" console game :X

Just checked out the updates from a while back. Nice!! I am taking a step back from my collecting mania since I have realized that I want a pool and want to finish my basement and have to catch up big time onplaying my stuff. Thus, I am cutting my collection down. It makes me sad, but it's the right thing for me. There just isnt enough time anymore.

3000-5000?... You are really really lowballing it, my game collection isnt near TSD's (I do have a more extensive classics collection though)... and of the 700+ games in my collection, that alone is valed (IGN) at over 14000
