"Don't worry about the stock market. Invest in family." What the hell kind of fortune cookie message is that?! But I do like this one "Remember three months from this date. Good things are in store for you."
According to the market, families are on the decline in the last few years, so bad decsion! I'm going to invest in swingers and orgies instead.

Since so many people are talking about what they think about/see when they see the OTT title, I look at that "srorriM" and think "Morris," inevitably thinking to teenage heartthrob Zack Morris, who forever stole my heart in a flash of bad sweaters, gross huge white hightops, and terrible haircuts.

Dude. I saw that too... but when I can only see the partial tab, all I get now is TTO... and I'm like TO? AGH! Run away!

Don't forget that giant cell phone.

Jaws is in rotation on HDNet Movies right now and watched it off the DVR last night. Damn good movie.

That was probably the first time I'd seen it in widescreen format.

Bender: "Ahhhh yes... John Quincy Adding Machine. He struck a chord with the voters when he pledged not to go on a killing spree."
Professor: "But like most politicians, he promised more than he could deliver."

Hey, does EB still take used DVD's, or did they stop?

I vaguely remember them having some sort of movie clearance but I'm not sure if that was them stopping used DVD trades altogether.

IIRC they stopped paying cash for DVDs but will still do credit. Not 100% on that however.
IIRC they stopped paying cash for DVDs but will still do credit. Not 100% on that however.
Yea, don't really need the cash, and don't feel like driving all the way back to Moviestop just to trade in one DVD I forgot to dump off there.

I tried calling but nobody answers the telly.

Maybe because I didn't realize they weren't open yet.

Down for me, too. Sucks.

I've got about 5.5 hours of work left and then I have the weekend and then 1.5 days of work and then 5 whole days of beautiful freedom!

If you're going up I-81 North on your way to Rocky Point, NY feel free to stop off at the McDonalds at exit 100. I'll high five you and you can be on your way with a renewed sense of courage and vigor.

Ha!

I didn't know you worked at McDonald's?

Wubb, we're doing it in two days, I think we're actually leaving at 3 or 4 am, but I'd rather leave early Saturday, clear most of the drive in a day, check into a hotel early (like around 8 pm) and take plenty of time to relax. Then the next day just do a short drive and show up relatively early.

According to the AAA stuff I got it's almost a 22 hour drive.

Hey! :boxing:

I actually work for the state government. I live by that McDonalds though. I was just suggesting that like you'd be a marathon runner and I'd hand you a cup of water from the side lines.
American Psycho of course!
I would, but I know it in and out. I need something new! =3

On the plus side, that makes it sound like you won't be the one driving. That's something, right?
That's weird Makler. Here in VA the state doesn't run McDonalds.
Really? I've seriously never heard of it before. Then again, I've only eaten at McDonald's once in the past four years. And I was drunk.

Wait, you're chastising munch for not being able to recite the dollar menu at McNasty's? You might wanna look at your priorities there, wubb. ;)

Hey don't mock my hollow victories. They're alls I got.

And actually I had to check wiki for the McChicken, only thing I've gotten at McDs in a good while is breakfast. They do have good hotcakes though. I also love that they call them hotcakes.

I did try those Chicken Select tenders when they first came out. (That's been like 2 years ago now right?) Those suck.

Just checked wiki and the Chicken Selects came out in '02. So I guess it's been 5 years since I had dinner from McDs.
That's weird Makler. Here in VA the state doesn't run McDonalds.
Why I oughtta ......

And Roufuss .. I have a coupon for free 6pc chicken mcnuggets with purchase of 6pc. So I'll buy a box for myself and let you have the other. Either that or I'll just let you have the coupon cause I know you have a penchant for coupons.

Fine, I'll give you that one. ;)

I haven't have McFailure's voluntarily since I was a pre-adolescent, and involuntarily about three years ago when I was helping an evicted neighbor move his life into a storage garage. His wife went and got that stuff and I had to eat it. =/

I did get $60 and the satisfaction of helping someone out, though. $60 at 16 years old is hitting the jackpot. I think I bought porn and airsoft guns with it.

Don't forget McGriddles  Do they still have those? Nothing tops a good Hardees breakfast, however.

A dollar is expensive?

Shrike, the ULTIMATE CAG!!!

Tomorrow my breakfast is the 2 for 2 Mcdonalds Egg McMuffin's and 2 hashbrown's, 1 for each of us. I'd love to get a McGriddle or something but we gotta play it cheap on food somewhat.

I too share in Hex's refusal of McShittles in all situations. When offered, I gotta refuse.

It would be like being at someone's house and asking them where a sink is to wash your hands, and they point you to a lake of boiling fire. "We just use that" they say, as I look at their charred used-matchstick stumps they call their hands.

"Why don't you just use the mountain spring next to it?" I say, pointing to said landmark with my beautiful appendage.

"It's 5 feet further away than the lake of fire."

It doesn't help that there's actually a variety of springs, wondrous and cool, near the lake of fire. Some of them even have chocolate plants growing near them, and naked people of your preferred gender.

So I just don't fucking understand, you see.

McDonald's has ok food for $1.

No one else really has that, in terms of hamburgers and fries and such.

Wendy's is coming really close, though, I just wish there were some near me.

But Rouffles, that stuff's so unhealthy for you. Is that salty, high-fat, high-cholesterol, artifical stuff really worth a dollar? =/
Can someone see if there's a Gamecrazy near me?
I don't think I've bothered to check.

Zips to try: 75001, 75229, and 75016.

Thanks!!!!
Wendy's does have that - you can get a chicken sandwich, fries, and a drink for three bucks, and their chicken sandwiches are much better than the crap you get from McDonald's.

I've eaten at McDonald's occasionally in the past few years, though it's almost always for breakfast when I do.
