Hello cag. I work at CC and we're clearing out our old video game inventory starting tommorrow. Management at my store are tagging the price tonight and inputting the price on the computer and selling tommorrow. We were also told to be beware of dealers and no mutil copy sold to each person. I'll get the list tommorrw my shift start early in the moring. So expect an update around 12 that is when my break start.

crap...just when I thought I was going to start getting some extra sleep. I suppose that means a lot of the same deals will be placed up on the website as well? Guess I better stay up for the morning update, let's see if I remember, 4:30 AM CST is it?

I dunno. The best finds at CC were usually met with shock and awe from the employees. The fact that a CC employee actually knows about it, and that "Management" is 'planning' it make me think that it won't be anything major.

But, I HOPE I'M WRONG!!!!! Keep us posted on any lists that you may get. Keep us informed in the future too.

No they only inform us because it was a big problem last year. I'm guessing alot of Fatwallet people bought multi copies of games and I also heard a guy just got a basket and just toss and grab anything he got his hand on! There was alot of complinats and angry customers. We had an employee meeting informing us about dealers.

Great...if this actually turns out to be something worthwhile, I'm going to have to choose between this sale and a trip to TRU to look for the PSOne/LCD combo. :p

I agree...I don't think there's a whole lot of decent titles released between now and the last clearance that could possibly be on the list, outside of a few real stinkers, sports games, and things we've already seen go cheap already this season, like Drake, Deus Ex:IW, the ESPN games, etc.

Either way, Redcar will be a saint for busting the lid off of this if it pans out with anything remotely interesting.
 
Oh and some games will be 50% off. But don't expect the new release though. Like Halo 2, Metal Gear, Metroid, etc.

I was just near mine today and the GC section was teash, like two games. Xbox was a little better but still crap, and the PS2 I didn't even bother to look at. There are no games left now, nevermind after a sale.
 
I wonder how many pages this will grow to in just the anticipation of the sale.

I'm hoping for a cheap Eyetoy w/ Play. Since they released the Eyetoy alone now, maybe they can clear out the original. They also better be dropping prices on all those Value/$19.99 titles.
 
I, for one, am anticipating what's gonna be going down tomorrow at CC. Granted, I don't have the time or $ on me, but if the selection of games is right, I may be tempted to go. I think it's safe to hope that games normally $30 and under will be part of the sale.

Whoa! What's up with all the threat!!? I never said that the online CC will be updated just the B&M. Also it depend on your CC too when they update. We get new games every tuesday so I'm guessing the deadline for every CC store is a week from now it just depend on the managemnet there. I'm guessing you guys don't really care about me giving you guys the head up on this.

Damn no more $5 games? Winter has KILLED almost my entire 2005 budget, and the only redeeming sale I can see is $5, $10 is too much.
