I just saw this. you beat me too it. It is a combo disc as well for about the same price as the regular disc. Has both versions of the movie.

Now I just need Planet Earth (BBC edition) to drop to $30 and I'm set.
 
Great deal on an ok movie. I wish that the Russell Crowe character would have a much smaller character. Too formulaic and cliche for me.
 
This is why I'm glad I have a HD-DVD player. i'm thinking about getting another one just in case the add on for the 360 dies, which it probably will.

Is it worth buying movies like 40 year old virgin in HD? I would think that type of movie has no special effects, so is it really worth it?

Also older movies that were filmed before HD was even a concept, how are they HD Now?
Weren't they filmed using standard cameras that were not High Def Cameras?

Film resolution > hi def . So yes, older movies get high def transfers and can look amazing, depending on the quality of their transfer.
 
If my credit card could tap out, it would have already... In for 4 more than I should have bought. Thanks subby...

And yeah, anybody that doesn't have the Bourne Trilogy should be breaking that link right now...
 
I'm REALLY annoyed I bought Bourne Supremecy and Ultimatum yesterday at BB and did the boneheaded "I'll open the movies to make sure they look OK since who knows how long I can get new ones" move. And less than 12 hours later this happens. :/

Do the Bourne Trilogy discs ship as a 3-pack of the original movies with UPC intact, etc? (so I could return those sealed to BB?)

And I ordered some of these on 2/3, I'm really hoping the PM goes through with no problems...

Just picked up the Bourne trilogy, Children of Men, Shaun of the Dead, and Pride + Prejudice. Figured they all averaged out to about 11 bucks each, and I should strike while there is still a decent selection.
 
Buy now and hope they drop in the next 30 days. At least you have them at a good price that might go lower. If not, the one you want may be out of stock.

I have the 40 yr old Virgin but have not watched in hi def yet. i did watch Knocked Up the other day. For me, hi def is not must for comedies, but it does add to the experience. When the moves were $20 to $25, I woul dnot have gotten them, but for this price, the picture and extra features make it worth it. At least for me.
 
Grabbed The Bourne Trilogy as I didn't have any of them on DVD, stuck about 8 other HD-DVDs which I'll keep in my cart and decide if I want later.
 
Only one out of this sale that I'm sorry I didn't wait on was Chronicles of Riddick, as I paid $15.98 for it from DD, with Pitch Black & Eternal Sunshine, both at $12.20 each.

If the orders for the $9.98 DVD's go through, it'll balance that out.
 
Now $11 is starting to sound more like it...I find it hard to believe they will go cheaper. Why would they loose money on each disc when they could blow them up in the desert? Come on!

All the items that I placed in my cart got bumped up $4...weirdness. I guess that assuages my hesitance to pull the trigger on this one.
