Just did that last weekend. Picked up the FYE deal ($50 player with the $30 MIR) and ended up walking out the door with it for $19.99 plus tax due to the register not printing out the rebate form.
 
Got the Bourne Trilogy (which I already own on DVD) and Mallrats (been meaning to buy forever). And yeah, it appears the prices went back up on a lot of them.
 
Glad I jumped on this, I didn't get American Gangster (already had it) but I did get Eastern Promises as it was priced like this too

I had a funny feeling about this one. Hence I ordered it at the 16.95 price immediately. Added Mallrats for 11.95 (the art matches the 10th anniversary edition so I assume it is that one and not the original; in which case it's cheaper then the DVD on Amazon for 19.99) to get the free shipping.

Willing to ship for $13 or trade for another new movie. thanks

I was thinking about what to pick up with Eastern Promises to get to the free shipping point, and by the time I had something, boom, it was back up to $20.
 
All the prices in my shopping cart went back up too...at least $3-$4 each....too bad...I had like 18 of em in there....guess I'll just wait for it to drop again :cry:

Then again at least my wallet doesn't hurt for a lil' bit
 
That's what I get for not ordering earlier today. Hopefully they go down again soon because I had a bunch in my cart but got distracted by some work and the price has gone up since then.
 
I must of ordered just in time. Doubled checked my invoice and all movies were still $11.95 & $16.95. Ended up spending $159 on Eastern Promises, American Werewolf in London, Mallrats, American Gangster, Forbiden Planet Collectors, Oceans Trilogy, and a couple others.

Dang, Bourne Trilogy is OOS. I'm building my cart, which'll probably go to 2-3 hundred, but then I'll take out what I'm not dying to see.

I hope Canada gets some HD DVD clearouts at B&Ms soon...

Anyway, I was checking out some of the "new & used" prices on Amazon and I noticed that there are quite a few nice deals. I believe that, because they come from different sellers, I would have to pay shipping on each movie.
Is this the case?
If so, I think I'll pass on that.
Is it possible to search a seller's inventory and get combined shipping? I can't sem to find many options when clicking the used sections.

Yes, you will be charged shipping on each item if you buy from different sellers. I've also bought several items from the same seller at the same time on amazon and I was charged the standard shipping fee on each item despite the fact they were shipped together in the same box. There doesn't seem to be a combined shipping option for amazon sellers.

It looks like Serenity dropped to 13.95 and the Blade Runner 5 disk edition dropped to 23.95.

The pre order for HD DVD combo disk of Appleseed Ex Machina is now down to 20.95 which only $2 more than the single disk SD DVD edition and actually cheaper
than the 2 disk SD dvd edition

The warner brother HD DVD TV box sets for Smallville and nip tuck also look like they have dropped to around $35
