I figured we should have a thread for this as there seems to be some prices scattered around this site.

Here's what I got for some Xbox games on 6/20:

Mechassualt - $8
Blood Wake - $7
Time Splitters - $8
GTA 3/4 - $25
Indiana Jones- $3
Freedom Fighters- $8
Armed and Dang - $12
Riddick- $35

Thanks, Engineer J. Sounds like it's worth me going down there. Not sure how you use the credit from BB, but I'll find out this weekend and post a follow-up.

Were these xbox titles on the list: Pro Evolution Soccer 4, Mortal Kombat Collector's Edition, THUG 2, Ghost Recon 2 or KOTOR 2 ? Someone said no Jade Empire. So they differ by store...as I re-read your message...

Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (XBOX) $22 (same for PS2 version I think)

I could have the I-ninja and spawn prices mixed up.

MK Deception: Kollector's Edition for Xbox is on the list. I pre-ordered that yesterday using the "$20 off with 2 game trade-in" coupon in last months EGM.
 
Is the Robin Hood Prince of Thieves different than the Defender of the Crown?

What was that aboue Breakdown? Was there a price listed for it's trade in value?

No Special Editions for the deal
Yes on Thug 2, Ghost Recon 2, and KOTOR 2
 
So I'll have to ask and see? Since I have one saying yes and one saying no.

thug 2, kotor 2 and ghost recon 2 were on the list (i pre-ordered these)

there was a mortal kombat on the list but i don't think it was the collector's edition (the promotion's rules are pretty clear about not including limited editions / collectors editions)

i saw no jade empire

The MK Collectors Edition *is* on the list. I saw it with my own eyes. You can't do the in-store " rade 2 PO, get $20 off a pre-order" deal for it but there are coupons out there though that let you do it for games priced at $49.99 and up though. Thats how I pre-ordered it.
 
i tried calling Gamerush but they dont give trade-in values over the phone because they have to scan them but anyways

could someone give me updated values for these xbox games

Batman Rise of Sin Tzu or whatever is like $7, I think and the hobbit is $13.
 
breakdown was $7 a few weeks ago (i kept it)

to clarify, the list i was talking about was the trade 2, $20 off a pre-order in-store

coupons are great for those who have them (nork -- maybe you want to tell us where you got them?)

Yeah I think I meant Defender of the Crown, think I got Prince of Thieves from the movie.

Also I quoted somebody responding to a post about breakdown getting $25 but for the life of me I can't find that post.
 
I asked this many times already, but, how much do you get for Bombastic and Alter Echo at Game Rush? Both are PS2.

Last months EGM (with Scarface on the cover). There is a Gamerush coupon in there that lets you get $20 off pre-order titles priced at $49.99 *and up*.

nephets - pick up a phone, just call them when they are not too busy, they'll tell you as long as you are only asking about a couple games, call a different game rush if one game rush won't tell you

Thanks, I already found out Bombastic is worth 13 and Alter Echo I won't even be trading in since it's so low, I'll just be returning it back to CC sometime soon.
 
Went to a local Blockbuster and found out it had a Gamerush in it. Joy! Brought a whole bunch of stuff I didn't care about and walked away with $190. Spent half of it, though, on some rare titles. Here's what I traded and what I got. I guess there's a promotion where they add $5 to every trade value?

I pre-ordered Metroid Prime 2 from the deal. Other pre-order possibilities I saw were GTA: San Andreas, MGS 3, MK (non-Limited), Halo 2 (non-Limited), and that's all I can remember.

Here are the games I grabbed. It's buy 1 used, get 2nd at 50% off.

Starcraft 64 (complete) - found out someone scammed them by putting the Starcraft sticker over a copy of Mission Impossible. Gotta return it

World of Outlaws Sprint Car 2002 (barcode sticker on disc, otherwise mint)

Still have $95 left on the card. Damn, what a deal! :) Gotta bring more junk there today, and see if they really are reserving KOTOR 2 (I don't think I saw it).

...Damnit. I want a Gamerush. The nearest one is literally almost 100 miles away. That and a Hastings.....right next to each other....righ outside my dorm. MAn, that would be SO sweeeeeeet. *drool*

Do they give you an extra $5 on EACH game when you trade 3 or more? or just on the 3d game and above?

if you trade in 3 or more, they give you an extra $5 per game
so a total of 15 for bombastic, 17 for disney party and 60 for hobbit since i traded in 2 copies.

sorry for the confusion.
 
be careful using the used sale prices as accurate markers of what the trade-in will be, it's ok to do if you have a really efficient store that accurately changes the sale prices when they go down but some most definitely do not

Are the non-GameRush/regular Blockbuster stores (that accept trade-ins, of course) doing the "trade 3 or more, get an extra $5 per game" deal?

Hastings has an unadvertised 4-for-1 deal. Basically trade in any four games (besides sports games) and get a free new game.

When I tried to preorder paper mario 2 there was a lot of confusion going on with the employees because the system let me preorder two other games but not that one. What they eventually did was manually override the restriction by just crediting my account with 20 dollars, accomplishing the same thing the preorder deal would have done.
 
My local Blockbuster is going to start doing trade ins, I just hope they give the same amount as GR...

Ya I've been able to preorder anything, but that's because the gamerush guys figured out a way around that restriction with an over-ride.
 
Sorry for the double post, but how much do you get for Jet Grind Radio (GBA)?

Picked it up at CC back a long time ago for 4.99 and I don't really like it much.

It got 21 dollars like once or twice like 3 months ago. :p

Also, aside from ESPN NHL Hockey 2K4, what about Mojo (PS2), how much does that give you?
 
Mojo for Xbox got me $7 around July, give or take a buck. So I'm assuming the PS2 version would net around the same thing...
