I figured we should have a thread for this as there seems to be some prices scattered around this site.

Here's what I got for some Xbox games on 6/20:

Mechassualt - $8
Blood Wake - $7
Time Splitters - $8
GTA 3/4 - $25
Indiana Jones- $3
Freedom Fighters- $8
Armed and Dang - $12
Riddick- $35

Ninja Gaiden (Xbox) is $25. Just traded in my extra copy in there today and got a new Super Mario 3 GBA for free after $5 off coupon.

Road Kill $8---kept this...for 4 player fun
zoocube $3 I probably wont keep this one....very outdated gameplay and graphics
State of emergency $3 havent tried this one yet.

Damn, Mojo had an 8 dollar trade in? They had a ton of those at my CC's.

BTW, can anyone tell me the trade in value on THPS3 for Xbox. EB offered me .75 cents.
 
Anyone know the trade-in credit for Kirby's Air Ride & Transformers? I picked them up from GR only because I couldn't find anything I really wanted. Haven't even touched them yet so I think I'm going to trade them back.

I think you'll be able to get $21 for KAR and $25 for Transformers.

Just curious but what were some of the high dollar trades from the circuit city $5 deal. I only know of robin hood for $21.

Got $21 for the PS2 version of Robin Hood today. Too bad I only had one of it. Also, got $2 for WWF Warzone, $1.50 for Action Bass, and $1.50 for Boxing, all games that I got for .75-1.00 at Meijer on clearance.
 
As of 7/16:

Space Channel 5 (PS2) - $25 for disc 1, $2 for disc 2

You'll probably have some trouble whether you're trying to trade in just disc 1 or both discs as two separate games. My advice to help things run smoother: don't give them the cover art (the barcode won't scan anyway), and keep the two discs separated (i.e. in separate cases).
 
Do they give you CASH or credit for your games? I want to get rid of my NCAA 2005, and if I can get $35 cash for it...so be it. I only paid $40 for it.

I want cash since there are no NEW games I want yet.

Thank You....I take it this credit can be saved for a while and used towards new OR used games? I think XBOX has some decent games in September dropping.

Yeah, you can do it one of 2 ways....

The store will keep an account for you that you can use whenever you go there...or

The will give you a gamerush gift card that u can use at other stores.

Also you can use your gamerush credit to buy movies and pay lates fees at BB. :D

This might be useful information to somebody:
They subtract 50 cents for every cover that isn't there (which isn't applicable for next-gen games, unless you've lost the whole case), or if you don't have the manual they also subtract cash.

they dont subtract no matter what condition the game is in try again pal
 
I can confirm this. I ask what the prices are before I even show them the game, then, because I am such a cheapass, and because it looks less suspicious than trading in a new game, I keep the book and case and just give them disks. Can always use more cd cases...

Yea i do the same now i got a collection of like 50 manuals and like 50 covers and a bunch of extra cases i can sell on ebay.

yeah, i hate it when people trade in the game with no manual. I don't care about the box, but i hate not having the cover and book. :(

Same here but luckily for me, all the games I've gotten at GameRush have had a manual and the cover. For anybody who wants original cases, just ask one of the employees there. One of the employees told me that they just throw them away so I asked for one and he just gave it to me...
 
Wow, you hoard game manuals and covers. Why don't you just leave them in the case when you trade a game in and let the next owner receive the product in its completeness? I sure as hell hate it when I find a game I've been looking for only to find that there's no manual inside the case.
 
i don't buy used games unless they come with the manual and cover....the box is no big deal because my toys r us sells the x-box and ps2 cases for 25 cents

same here. you should ask them for a few xbox, ps2 cases when your there and see if they'll give them too you.

i don't know if offering them back their BB case would do anything but it's worth a shot if they don't want to hand you cases for free

a BB near me sells them 10 cases for a buck. or you can find one that gives them out

This may have been answered a while back, but is it true that Robin Hood: Defender of the Crown (PS2) gets you 21 dollars in credit? Because I've yet to play it and I only spent 5 dollars on it back at the CC sale.

It was about a month ago. I played it and traded it. It's not really even worth opening, unless you just want the case.
 
Can anyone tell me how much I'd get for Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb and Defender of the Crown? Both are on the PS2, and I was thinking of trading in these 5 dollar CC games in order to get 20 dollars off of Pikmin 2...

yea I do the same thing but its not like EVERYTIME

I do it really for having an extra case or so

I only have like 4 extra manuals and like 2-3 cases but I have traded a ton at gamerush
