got to TRU ten minutes before they closed, and didnt see anything of interest - there was a mom & dad there w/their 8 year old (couldnt have been more than 8) who were buying metroid prime and super monkey ball as a part of the 2 for $30 deal...gave the guy the coupon, and he said "the sign by the 2 for $30 deal says you dont need a coupon" - true i said, but that this coupon would save him another $10, and that i had already checked with the CSR earlier if it was ok - long story short, he was THRILLED, as was his 8 son that they got both for $20....he offered me the $10 that he saved, but i told him to give it to the red cross - which he said he would..

just wanted to say thanks to CAG, and to whomever posted the coupons here...you made a family's day, and helped send some $$ off for a good cause :D
nicely done
im new to this clearance, but can i still go today (2005) and get the same prices, or did the clearance end yesterday (2004)
Clearance prices should still be in effect, the coupon won't.

I can't remember who wanted a PSOne LCD screen but the Toys R Us in Okemos, MI by the Meridian Mall has 8 of them marked 14.98. No combos left, screens only, FYI

I've been kicking myself repeatedly for not picking up Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow at my TRU last week when I had the chance, and now it's sold out. If anybody could pick me up one, that would be awesome. I'd pay up to around $20 shipped for it, though closer to cost (if cost is cheaper for you) would win you some karma points ;). Thanks.

Street Racing Syndicate (Gamecube) with Pac-Man Vs. - $4.48.

Let me know via PM if you want one and I will pick it up on the way home from work tomorrow if they are still in stock (they had a TON today). This was the route 4 store in Bergen County, NJ.

I will be glad to pick it up for whoever wants it.

Also - Gamecube Modem - $10

You sure that isn't R Racing Evolution?

I was just at the tru in north olmsted, OH and they had the battery's for the gamecube at 3.98, the kind you'd use with an lcd screen to make it portable. The batteries claimed they lasted 1 1/2 hours. They had ~20, maybe more.

Yeah, it is R Racing Revolution w/ Pac Man Vs. Under 5 bucks. I will ship them for 7 per via media mail. Just PM me if you are interested and I will pick them up on the way home if they are still in stock.

Oh, and for those asking it is the MODEM not the Broadband adaptor. Several people are asking me for the broadband adaptor...

That's a great deal, cool of you to offer to do that. I've heard Racing Revolution is kinda lackluster, but Pac Man Vs. alone is worth 7 bucks. For anybody who has a Cube, GBA, and link cable, you need to get this. It's a great multiplayer game. If I didn't already have it I'd take you up on it.

It seems that although I didnt get a ten dollar off coupon, it was more than made up for today, since my TRU had recently (finally) went to 70% off
For under 20 bucks... picked up
Morrowind XB 3.00
Virtua Tennis GBA 3.00
Onimuisha Tactics GBA 6.00
Mad Maestro PS2 3.00
Mojo XB 3.00

For those in the NYC area, the TRU at Times Square has R Racing Revolution for 4.89 after tax. their green tags aren't labeled, so you'll have to try the YMMV games here and bring it to the counter to see if it's on sale.

there are about 10 copies of R: Racing Revolution left.

Yes, I saw that, but I didn't get one because the LCD screens were still expensive. I think that I might have seen them at the Parma one too. I was at both last week. Parma was at 70% off and the North Olmstead one was still at 50% off (entire green tag selection). The Howe Avenue (Akron) one is still at 50% off. Grrr!

I picked up Maximo vs The Army of Zin for $8.98 and Arc the Lad: Twlight of the Spirits for $7.98

I was kicking myself for picking up Xenosaga pre-owned for $11.04 a few days earlier since they had one for $6.98. I went back a day later and it was already gone.

I bought Sword of Mana, Aria of Sorrow (they had tons), Siren, and Fire Emblem for a friend of mine (last one I saw).

If anyone would like me to go pick up SoM or AoS, just PM me and I'll hassle the mom for a ride.

How much was Fire Emblem?

Cool, PMed.
Found Xenosaga for 4.98. :D
Ah, that was the one I missed. Anyone know if a Chicago area TRU has any in stock (and if it's at some level of green tag-ness)? Oh, and I picked up R-Type: Final and Beyond Good & Evil (PS2) for about $15 with tax after the coupon, just so you know.
