Any guesses as to how much they're going to sell Watchmen & The Departed on Blu Ray? I ordered those two movies at Walmart because of their 2 for $17 deal. If this deal is better, I'm canceling that.

I'm guessing between $5-$7.
Amazon's TV & Movie Facebook page just posted a "preview" of sale items starting Monday.
I really hope that Parks & Recreation Season 1 is included in their sale. Kinda funny that season one with its whole six episodes is $22.99 right now on Amazon meanwhile I can pre-order season two (24 episodes) for $24.99.

So. I ordered the Harry Potter Blu-Ray bundle for $50 on Friday. If the price is lower Tuesday on that deal, what should I do? Reorder and return the first copy, or just ask CS for a price adjustment?

Looks like I can grab S9 of Smallville for my gf from Amazon, rather than getting it for $10 from BB on Friday. Nice.

For me, Season 10 was where I stopped with The Simpsons. I think there's a few good eps here and there in 11-14. Still, I dunno if I need to pick anymore up.

I doubt you will get a price adjustment if the price goes lower. They quit that a long time ago. It shouldn't stop you from trying since they might give you a "one time exception" but just be prepared for rejection.

I think the biggest factor is if it's still in processing or not. If it's shipped you're probably screwed.

It did ship yesterday . So if it's less than the $49.99 that I paid for it, should I just order one at the lower price and then return the higher priced? It seems like they would just avoid the hassle and give me an adjustment

I think if you return it, you have to pay to ship it back unless you just refuse delivery. Not 100% sure on this, but I think I read that in similar situations.

Depends on who you get on the phone. It would be easier to just return it probably.

Just posted on the Amazon Facebook page for movies and TV. LOTR Blu- Ray for $7.99 each. I know they aren't the extended versions but this seems to be a fair price to me for the theatrical cuts.

"Deal Preview: Starting 11/22 "The Blind Side" on DVD for $3.99, "Lord of the Rings" on Blu-ray for $7.99 each"

do we happen to know when this will go into effect?

Wednesday starting at 11:30 a.m. EST and ending at 3:30 p.m. EST for LOTR. Not sure about The Blindside.

(it's on the calendar linked in the first post).

Um, those are only the DVD's. This appears to be a separate deal.
wat is that? elaborate please
According to rumor, Target plans to honor their BF ad mistake where the BD LOTR trilogy is pictured for $7.99. I'm assuming Amazon's pricing is for tomorrow only, which is why you can either pick them up for the PM price each or sleep on it until BF and get all 3 for $7.99 @ Target.
they stopped doing that? wow where have i been?

lets hope harry potter 1-6 is $30!! (yeah right)
It was on Amazon.co.uk like a week ago. I paid $30 shipped to the United States for it.

Makes me chuckle when I see all these people buying the US set for $50. LOL!

Scenes were shot twice for verbal references to sorcerer's stone vs philosopher's stone. That's it.

That makes that Family Video deal a few weeks ago look like night with a cheap prostitute

They do that so you don't cancel.
Also Batman : Under the Red Hood BLU is @10.49...is it worth it at that price?
yeah, pretty solid movie. only gripe is they had a new voice actor for batman and joker. if you can get over that, the story is great.

Deal overload. Had a feeling the movie/tv deals would be awesome tonight. pricematches galore. Are the $8 blu's the lowest these movies have gotten? Particularly Predator, V for Vendetta, Watchmen, and Terminator?

that doesn't matter :) but I thought I also saw this as a lightning deal too later this week?

Picked up Watchmen (Blu, $8) and Dollhouse Season 1 (DVD, $11). Neither were in my sights this week, but Black Friday pricing got me.

The Departed is also 7.99
Wanted 7.99
Slumdog Millionaire 8.49
Predator(Ultimate Edition) 7.99
The Simpsons movie 8.49

Hopefully, Amazon will drop the price of season 3 to $12.99 to PM Target's BF sale.
