Sweet, I got a notifaction.

Luckily I was looking at the amazon screen because it gives you 3 minutes to add it to your cart and there is no audio notification.
So if I want Dazed and Confused I should just order it now?
According to the calendar its not going to get any cheaper.

I bought it last night for $10.

It is totally worth it if you like the movie. It is jam-packed with great extras too, supposedly.

If you guys havent bought it, get: OUTLANDER its only $5.99 and one of the best movies ever. Think 13th Warrior meets Pitch Black.

I'd wait. Everyone thought NFS:Hot Pursuit was going to stay at 34.99 even for the LD and it was 29.99, I'm hoping to get D&C for 4.99 tomorrow...unlikely, but so was NFS for 29.99.

I went ahead and ordered, it's backordered a couple of weeks right now, so if it does happen to go down, I'll just order the cheaper one and cancel the more expensive.
is dollhouse season 1 worth a purchase?
If you can wake up that early!!!!

The big ones are the BTTF and Shutter Island

I wish Shutter Island would have just been on sale for that price this whole weekend.

Community is my favorite show on television and you just said that a movie about a viking versus an alien is "one of the best movies ever". I can't not buy this movie with this combination of factors involved in its recommendation. Thank you.

So what do we all think of BttF for $25? Will it get under $20 anytime soon or should I just jump on it?

It's not "limited" or anything right? It will be in print for a while. I do have the old DVDs but I hear good things about the blu, and I do love those movies, know I will watch it.

$25 is the cheapest I've ever seen it. Heck, I sold my OLD dvd's after buying the new trilogy for $15. For a $15 upgrade (I got from B&N), totally worth it for timeless classics.

UGH, why didn't I return my $45 copy of BTTF when it was announced it'd be a lightning deal. Now it's too late.

I'm done buying games or movies in October or November.. :/

Criterion collection MSRP $29.99 - $39.99 on sale for under $9 is worth every penny. I really wish Amazon drop all Criterion collection down $9.99 or less ;)
Fringe Season 1 for $13.99, worth it?
The first and second seasons were ehh for the most part. Season 3 has been amazing, but will most likely get canceled.

Why not buy the cheaper set, and return it using the more expensive receipt when it arrives? Nothing wrong with that since it is the same item.

That may be a slight exaggeration, but it truly is a great movie. It's highly inspired by Beowulf, but adds a very cool sci-fi spin (without becomning silly like Christopher Lambert's film version). The creature design is cool, Jim Cavaziel, Ron Perlman, and others turn in fine performances, and the film looks very good for such a modest budget. Anyone who likes sci-fi horror films like Predator will find a lot to like in Outlander.

This is wrong

Season 1 and 2 were mostly amazing with some iffy episodes.

Season 3, every episode has been amazing.

It is well worth the price.

I'm afraid it was right in the first place, at least as far as season one goes. I've only seen season one all the way through and every episode is "Oh man I really regret making that horrible [insert scientific impossibility that will act as the "monster of the week" here] when I was doing all those drugs and working for the government back in the day. By the way does anyone have any [insert child's food here]? I simply love the stuff right now," and then at the end of the episode is a minor cliffhanger about the overarching plot. It only got anywhere near interesting (and tolerable) towards the end of the season. Buy The X-Files instead.

I ditched Fringed during season 1 because it was so bad. The finale set up a lot of hope, but then the second season began poorly, but the last 5ish were really great.

Season 3 is also great, but is there point to start watching a show that will never be given a finale?

Have you guys notice Toy Story 3 Blu is 19.99 on Amazon right now? Is there a $10 off promo for this?
*edit* Not anymore, I swear it was like a minute ago
bttf has gone up to $27.99 for the lightning deal!

WTF?!
That sucks. Still a pretty damn good deal at that price. Maybe they should have started at 30 and then dropped down. Would have gotten some props for going even lower lol.

Edit: Back to $25

Damn I saw that. But it's back to 24.99 now...so hmm

Will :br:Stargate go lower than $8.49? Hard to justify when I own the DVD already

Definitely getting :br:Dollhouse and Alice miniseries

Crap...was in the shower when this deal went live, I didn't think this stuff would sell out so quickly. All I want is a copy of Alice, I'm on the waitlist - how does this waitlist work?

Will I not know if I get off the waitlist until the deal ends? Or do I have to sit around and hope I get off the waitlist?

How do you know what number you are on the waitlist?

I think it works this way. If you put in your cart, you have 15 minutes to check out and order it, or it will be deleted from your cart. If that person doesn't order it, that copy then goes to somebody on the wait list. If you're on the wait list, you have to stay on Amazon and a pop-up will show up saying that it's available.

I could be wrong, but that's what I remembered reading.

and Home Alone is officially sold out, this sucks, I didnt wake up in time even with my alarm set. Any chance Home Alone set will be this cheap anytime soon? I doubt it

SMH

Well, I got off the waitlist and managed to get Alice...still have no idea what number I was on the waitlist.

How lame >.> Shutter Island for 12.99. I was hoping 10 or under =/ I really want that film but don't know whether I'm willing to bite for $13 >.< urgh being a cheap ass sucks >.

I really wouldn't really get too worked up over BTTF, it's going to be gone in a blink of an eye, and unless you're really lucky and have a really fast connection, you won't have a chance with Amazon anyway.

I wonder if you go ahead and put something in your cart, if when it goes on sale the price will be adjusted before the order is final.

I was going to try for BTTF, but I don't know if I really want it or not. I haven't watched my DVDs of it in ages.

I haven't seen a deal for any movie or video game on Amazon this year where it was gone that quick. Yeah Home Alone was gone in a minute this morning, but you had the full minute to add it. If you're at your PC and ready to go, you'll get the deal I reckon.

Oh well, not complaining!
