Figuired last thread was pretty fragmented and didn't have a Master List so i slapped one togethor.

Most of the credit goes to Kirin Lemon for pointing out how to use the kiosk in store to get these prices.

IN ORDER TO SEE THESE PRICES YOU MUST USE A KIOSK OR COMPUTER INSIDE BESTBUY!!!! Some of these prices will show up on the website normally but not all of em.

Some of the titles appear to be on sale and are around $1-3 cheaper then listed. I've marked those titles with the words ON SALE in bold next to price. No idea how long the sale will last. All the items on sale can be ordered from the website out of store at sale price.

I also added a few new items I found and they are marked with a NEW next to price. If I have time on friday I plan to browse store kiosk and check for some more. If anyone is going to a best buy today can you please check the On Sale items in store and see if the price is different from normal? If not i'll check em tomorow if i have time.

how did you get a $5 coupon from mega man x being cancelled :( thats not fair! cuz mine was cancelled to and i got NO coupon
 
I did a store pickup and got .hack//Roots Vol.1 (LE). :)

I can confirm that Best Buy did fix the price mistakes of .hack//Roots Vol.1 (Artbox/CD/Demo/T-Shirt) and Cutie Honey the Movie (Live-Action) LE w/Lunchbox. Both of them are back to regular prices at the stores/kiosks! So for those who are interested in .hack//Roots Vol.1, now is the time to buy. Either order it to ship to you or pick it up at your local store before they readjust the BestBuy.com price!

Also, Peach Girl, Vol.1 is only $14.99 online (not in the stores/kiosk)!
 
I just went in this morning and made an order, now i had to make another order just for .Hack. Damn you anime why must you be so addictive and expensive.

The truth is that the distributors pay a hefty amount to license each title and want to make as much profit as possible in the relatively small anime market here. The addicts and fanatics pay through their nose first and then a year or two later the distributors re-release the shows in complete collections in order to milk off the casual watchers, and the new converts.

If the anime market were as huge as Hollywood movie goers, we would be seeing anime DVDs going under $10 everywhere after 6 months or so, just like the main-stream movie DVDs.

I just got it automatically in an e-mail. I ordered it for in-store pickup, but then I got a "not available in store" e-mail. I didn't bother calling to get it shipped because I knew there was no way I was going to get it. Then the next day or so I got the e-mail apologizing with the coupon.

Really tempted to pick up Peach Girl for $15, but I think I'll wait and use a 10% off coupon this weekend on the LE box. I already have all the manga so that is worthless to me in the starter set, but I'm just a big sucker for LE items.

Yeah, me too. Most of the .hack anime has been pretty bleh. I'm considering buying this just for the soundtrack though.

Had a hell of a time getting them to match it in-store. They told me i had to place an order for store pickup, then the girl went into the warehouse to wait for the order to pop into their queue (13 minutes....) then i had to go and do the "pickup" with the asshole manager who tried to bait & switch me with some clearance games a few weeks ago. He kept giving me a wierd look, especially after he found out about the $30 difference in price. The sarcasm in his "have a nice day" was very apparent, luckily I got his name for future use.

I really hate going into best buy but they keep pulling me in with so many deals. I'm still tempted to buy out their Far Cry Wii games for $15 and trade them for $27 @ FYE.
 
I put in my $280 anime order 5 days ago and I just received 1 of 3 boxes being shipped. The 1 box I opened was pretty big and all that was in there was my .hack roots LE, so I can confirm that the deal is valid :applause:

Thanks it was a combination of people. If you want send Kirin Lemon a nice PM as he is the one who originally brought this whole kiosk thing to our attention. Rest of us just filled in the blanks

It's available for shipping now but for $39.99 apiece.
 
The UPS guy delivered my .hack//Roots LE yesterday. I'm happy :D

It's was shipped in a box with crushed papers for cushioning. Not bad at all for only $1.79 shipping.
 
Just watched the first 3 episodes of .hack/roots. It's enjoyable. The music is great as well (seems to be a precadent for the series?).
 
my 2 sets for .hack roots shipped 4/20. I was lucky as I ordered them at the $14.99 price, it was already backordered, yet it still shipped :bouncy:

Best Buy admitted their mistake in sending my Last Exile Box set to the wrong address. They have agreed to send me one to the correct address. Unfortunately, the item is now backordered. Is there any chance of me actually getting my last exile box set?

I'd say your chances are pretty good. Only one item I've ever ordered from BB.com that was in backorder status was cancelled.

Anyway, I hope you get it!
 
I think i'm going to go thru and update OP this weekend. If anyone knows of any changes or prices that aren't valid please let me know. I'll go thru thread later today and look at what people said aren't valid and double check it friday in store.

Don't know how much i can check on the kiosk but i'll browse.

Finished my classes and my next set for master's program won't start until this saturday so I finally have a couple days free.
 
i know this is a long shot but does anyone have any extra .hack Roots boxes? both stores in my area wouldnt sell them to me at that price and i didnt think to have it shiped
