I went in today and they didn't have a special rack and nothing was marked. Plus the entire game section was a disaster. I had to go through every single game on their shelves to find the ones I wanted.

I ended up getting Metal Gear Acid and Def Jam Icon.

Yeah the Sunnyvale CC was terrible - I rifled through for a while looking for EBA, but no luck and gave up.

Was thinking of trying the East Palo Alto store but thought it is probably not worth the bother.

If anyone sees Elite Beat Agents in the SF Peninsula, please PM me.

Not a single $8.96 item left tonight at CC in Greenville NC. They had some PH CoD2 w/DVD for the 360, but it still rang up $29.99. I really wanted one of the NHL games for 360 or EBA for DS

Only copy i've seen, is at Sears in Moutain View.

EPA, I did see any games worth while, went yesterday night.

Didn't see anything, besides a bunch of sonic riders.
 
Went looking for Okami, Star Ocean, and Metal Gear but found none. The bin at my local c city was full of none sale items, a couple of which I took up the cashier hoping for them to ring up for 8.96 (Shadow of the Colossus and Hitman Trilogy). I did find 4 copys of Yakuza on the shelf, but wasn't really interested in them. Did find Snake Eater for 10 bucks on a back shelf and decided to grab it since I haven't played the metal gears and need to get the story before 4 comes out.
Anyone know a website that will fill me in for 1 and 2? And what the average amount of time to finish 3?

If you're looking for any of the hot ticket items like Okami, Metal Slug Wii, Mario and Luigi DS etc. don't bother, since they will have been picked clean looooooooong ago.

Any copies of those that were still to be found at CC's back before they dropped to 16.96 were bought up the week before that previous drop and then price corrected (and possibly now again to 8.96).

Those games are long gone.
 
I bought the last copy of Magical Starsign DS at my local CC store. I also saw FF IV and FF V advance. I got to the store right when the employees were taking games off the racks and putting them in the bins very few games were correctly price marked it was a pain in the ass to search for games in the bins. I saw a steady stream of people coming into the store and heading for the games section the pickings were slim.

Damn, lucky you. I checked almost every store in LA county and not a single one has any of the good games. Even at $17 I would jump on that one.
 
The one and only store in Hawaii was cleared out of all the games I was interested in. An employee had handwritten the clearance games on scraps of paper taped to each rack of the game section so there were no surprises. They did have a couple copies of GG:Judgement for PSP, but I passed.
 
JACKPOT... i went to the paramus nj CC and found a TON of 360 games there... got Phantasy Star, 2 Quake 4's and Chromehounds... they had most games there minus bullet witch and chromehounds... I got one quake for a friend and I already have one so if anyone wants to trade for Quake or Chromehounds... I got it for the CAG's here... didn't want any other game, all had really low ratings

Anyone able to confirm if the PS2 version of DBZ Budokai 3 is on clearance? The list is hard to make out from the scans, if it's 2 or 3. That and I called ahead and they were telling me it was ringing up at full price. (Not sure if they were BSing or not)
 
Got X-Men and The Outfit. The only people besides me digging through the mess of a video game display were several CC empolyees (that is why the games you are looking for are gone!). I asked about Far Cry and they laughed and said "that is a fly game, but all the copies have been sold":bomb:

*Even though I was able to get these for $9, they rang up $16.96. The nice cashier adjusted these to $9 for me. It helped that I had Top Spin 2 and LotR2 mixed in with all of the other $8.96 games. I then went back in to pick up Lunar Knights hoping to get lucky and she adjusted that game as well. The CAG gods smiled down on me today.

Also, I may have an extra Elite Beat Agents but won't know for a couple of days. If you're interested let me know, after taxes and shipping it will come to about $12. I'll update here later again when I know for sure.
 
Stopped by the Wheaton MD and Rockville MD stores. Both were pretty much stripped. The Circuit City stores around here are the worst places on Earth.

My local stores are also crap. I went today looking for NHL 2k7, but they didn't have it. They had 07 instead, but that sucks. I didn't find any other worthwhile games either, and everything was extremely unorganized. I don't even know why CC is in business still, it's such a horrible shopping experience every time I visit (only when they have ridiculous sales like this).

Went Sunday morning to the CC in The Woodlands, only to pickup NBA 2K7. They had a few copies of COD2, 1 Tiger Woods 07, 1 Icon and 2 MLB 2K7 for XBox 360. Was looking for NHL games for XBox 360. This CC was unorganized and every visit, I see a lot of new employees. I guess there is a reason why they are so inept in their video gaming dept.

Haha! I'm in there frequently and it's always gone to shit.
 
i went to two CC's here in NJ and one was horrible, one bin, crappy games (COD2, FFXI, a few EA Games) and i got FFXI just to not leave empty handed... I then went to another CC today (they are closed sundays) and they had a CRAPLOAD of games... pretty much all on the list minus Bullet Witch & Project Syplheed... Bought 2 Quakes, Chromehounds & the last Phantasy Star Universe... should have also gotten Superman, X-Men, Meet The Robinsons, Lego Bionicle Heroes.... but they had every sport game on the list too... I'm trading a QUAKE & maybe CHROMEHOUNDS if anyone wants...
 
Crap, can't price-adjust since the receipt expired the first day of the sale (Sunday January 6), 30 days post-December 7. :bomb: Could've saved $6 on FFV Advance and $6 on Custom Robo, too. Ah well, can't win them all.

i picked up a copy of bulletwitch for 8.96 and monster madness for 7.99 both for the 360 they had an old ad for monster madness at 8$ as it rang up at 1696 so i told the clerk and she made a price adjustment i figure both games suck but for 8 or 9 bucks a pop how can u go wrong its worth it even if they r shelfware
 
Snagged EBA, Condemned, and Elebits. I'll probably head back tomorrow to see if they've got Superman for 360. I saw plenty for PS2, but decided to hold off.

If anyone's interested, this was at the Albany, NY store...I remember seeing a copy of Parappa in the bin, and one last EBA on the shelf.
 
I dunno if its been said but The Suffering: Ties that Bind for xbox was in the $8.96 bin at my CC, as well as Star Trek Conquest for PS2. I was so pissed they had no chocobo Tales, godhand or far cry instincts left. But I grabbed star trek conquest, kingdom of paradise, parappa the rapper, and suffering:TTB

I also noticed a Beyblade game for GC, I dont remember the name but it was an orange cover, that was $8.96. I also saw Fable for Xbox, Aeon Flux for PS2, mr driller drill spirits or whatever its called for DS all for $8.96. That's all I can remember.
