Until Butterfly719 decides to update his master list or neocisco posts the official list...I think we should just consolidate everything to this new thread. When was this? I went to that CC on Sunday and there was definitely no Okami. Couldn't Parappa for the PSP and they didn't have that $29.99 GBA Micro (though that's admittedly YMMV).

I did pick up Condemned though.

I'm thinking of hitting a bunch of CCs around the area today or tomorrow. Does anyone think that they'll be cleaned out by then?

Yeah, the CC in Clairemont was hopeless. They couldn't even tell me which games were on clearance saying that only the items pictured in the circular were on sale for that price. But it wasn't too bad. I did manage to pick up Monster Hunter Freedom 2 for 8.96. ;)

I managed to stop by the CC in Pt Loma today picked up the last copy of Chocobo Tales and Elite Beat Agents.... unless if they're hiding somewhere else. :)

What was wrong with not paying for them when the cashier rang them up? You had to have noticed that something was up when you were charged almost $40 for two games that shouldn't go for more than $20.

just got back from my local CC.. anybody from New Orleans in here?? I went to the one on Lapalco on the west bank... and they had plenty of ALL of the clearance games (I mostly noticed the 360 ones all being there, because that's what I bought) and they all rang up at the 8.something price.
 
wanted to get them..anyways my CC knew nothing about the deal, and i can get them cheaper at GS with my edge card..lol

Um, according to the OP, Top Spin 2 should be $8.96, but PES2007 (that is the soccer game, right?) is still $16.96. So I'm not sure why you thought they ought to both be $8.96. If Top Spin 2 really belongs in that category (and wasn't a mistake by someone who had it manually adjusted down to $8.96) then there's no reason it shouldn't have rung up at $8.96 unless they manually marked it UP to $16.96. If it is truly $8.96 in the system just take the receipt back to Customer Service. I adjusted Project Sylpheed and Custom Robo purchases I made in early December to get the difference back no problem. I just wish more of the games I bought back then dropped because I could have gotten a lot more money back ;).
 
God I was excited when I found Oddworld Strangers Wrath in the bin, but now that I checked Amazon I am not too happy anymore.

Looks like I will be returning it and buying it from amazon again.

No no no. The non-PH is $8.96. The thing is, the list the employees have lists simply "Call of Duty 2 - 360 - $8.96". All you can ask for is an override.
 
Local CC in Landover MD had a guy hoarding just about every 360 and ps2 game he could get (about 20 - 30 games easy in his basket, multiples of Quake 4 :lol: ) but also people going through the lists at the same time. Needless to say I think i'm done trying

Yeah that CC has been nothing but a dump lately. The CC in the City Center at White Plains is slighty better with some selection of titles. I picked up the second Phoenix Wright and Full Auto 2 there. Still had some Bullet Witch, Eye Toy, and some of the old sports games.

That CC usually has a ton of stuff.
 
I went to the CC in Sand City, CA. They didn't have much, but was able to get 2 games.

didn't have much at cc but did get phantasy star for the 360 so i went to best buy and priced matched bullet witch and Project Sylpheed
 
My brother took a trip yesterday to the only CC close by us (Millbury, MA), so I had him look for 3 titles for me: NBA 2K7 (360), Condemned, and Elite Beat Agents. Of the three, he was only able to find EBA, and he said the 2 clearance bins were pretty well picked over.

Oh well, I'm pretty happy to have even gotten one game out of this.

Normally yes , the disorganization works out quite well. But I nearly fainted at seeing that for once after all these sales they finally at least attempted to pull stuff to put in bins. Combined with the new system of putting empty cases on the shelves that you have to take up front and it just isn't working out for this clearance.
 
at my local CC in somerville, MA, i saw at least two copies of phoenix wright: justice for all going for 15. unfortunately, it was barren otherwise. nothing good.

You're saying the employees have a different list than the list that has been posted. Interesting...

And I'm pretty sure the non-PH and PH of COD2 360 are the same UPC, so they should scan as the same SKU and bring up the same item/price in their system. So the $8.96 price would not appear to be in the system, regardless of whether you find a non-PH or PH version. Either way, sounds like you're going to have to ask for an override, and hope they have a list that backs it up if they want proof.

Outside of the clearance bins, I did find Just Cause for $9.99. Pretty spiffy at that price, methinks.
 
I picked up Custom Robo and Elite Beat agents at the Jantzen Beach (portland, OR) circuit city today. a few more copies left there of each.
Also some giant robo game from Konami . S.L.A.I. Steel Lancer something something for $9. Was tempted, but passed.
 
Not that I really NEED another game from this sale, but the CC near me keeps ringing up PS2 DBZ: Budokai 3 at full price ($40), but it's listed as being in the clearance sale. Anyone confirm it otherwise?

I actually would've bought Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, had I found it. Of course, I own Onimusha 1 and 3 and have never played them.
 
Not that I really expected anything different, but the CC on Route 22 in Jersey was absolutely destroyed. A few games in each of the bins, and they were obviously utter crap...mostly bad GBA games.

went to the CC in Merced, Turlock, and Modesto CA. managed to get Final Fantasy 5, Hotel Dusk, and Phoenix Wright. Everything else those stores had was junk or sports
 
Went to Newington, CT CC today. They had one bin set up that did not have a single game in it. They did have a rack of $9.99 PS2 games, but nothing interested me.

I'm beginning to think the 5 copies of COD2 SE I saw at my store were all mislabeled at 8.96. I'm going to assume that some employee got confused by the SKU's.

I think, at the bare minimum, the OP should be modified to reflect that.
 
Picked up College Hoops 2k7 for PS3 on Sunday at the CC in Ocala, FL off of 200/75. Not too big of a steal, but it was a game I had on the radar. Thanks OP!

Do you guys think it would be possible to price-match at BB? CC was wiped clean. :wall: My BB has let me pm in the past. But im not sure if they would pm on clearanced games. I'll try by the end of the week.
 
I haven't had a chance to make it to CC yet. You guys think there stock will be fairly cleared out by now, or do i have a chance to get some quality titles? I plan on going tomarrow.
 
It all depends on if the games are correctly tagged and placed in a clearance bin. If your local CC typically leaves items tagged full price then you might have a chance to get the good games

I tried today and I got the "we aren't able to PM clearance items" then she told me what "clearance" items were, which would have been nice if I was a dolt but back to the point. She stated that they couldn't, she was some sort of Management at BB. Hope you have better luck then I did

They didn't price them down last year, but several CAG live in near me so I just hope they weren't too greedy.
 
Taunton, MA had most of the 8.96 titles still. Parappa, trauma center, lunar knights, bullet witch, and some old ones (matrix path of neo i'd imagine is 8.96 by now...?). no more metal slug anthology, though :[
 
Found God hand, but the CC employee was talking a lot of shit about the game.

Also got Yakuza, whatever, for someone.

I saw a lot of London Gangs, but I don't play PSP that much.
