Urban Dead - The Official Cheap Ass Survivor Thread

I've played as a zombie for a long time, and pooled up 700 XP points (within a week, by harvesting an entry point) so I could buy some survivor skills, as I'm sick of playing as a zombie.

I managed to get revived and redeem my XP, a few days back... but got PK'd almost instantly.

No matter where I go, I can't seem to find any survivors to chomp... was there a plague, or something?

A massive, co-ordinated zombie attack just happened in the area where you were. All the humans (including myself) were killed. There's nobody left in the wake of the attack in pretty much all of the north west.
 
South-east, too, apparently.

That's where I've been wreaking havoc... All of the malls are totally shit-bombed.

I normally harvest mall entry points for XP... and I logged in, one day... and everything, for miles, was demolished.

1) I went to an RP and eventually someone revived me. I didn't have enough AP to stand up so I waited a day to regain my AP. Today, when I stood up, it still said that I was dead. What's that about?

2) Also, as a zombie, every time I refresh the game, I lose an AP. Maybe that is also with survivors too, but I never seemed to notice.

About Point #2 - don't use refresh. If you need to "refresh," just enter "http://www.urbandead.com/map.cgi" into the address bar and hit enter, like you're going to a site. When you refresh it takes it as doing your last activity again, thus costing you AP.
 
We had a RRF member kill someone over night in BG.

  • dgw said "snitches get stitches, something like that. yay for zombies" (8 hours and 27 minutes ago)
  • dgw killed AllGoodOnesAreTaken. (8 hours and 26 minutes ago)
 
held out in a mall under siege for days, then try to make it to BG and die overnight in kempsterbank, so close. Hanging out at revive point ware walk if anyone is close by.

Be careful about posting your coords...you may want to edit that. Send a PM to Crotch or Ivan - they may be able to hook you up with a revive.

have they increased the chance of getting first aid kits in malls? ive been racking them up like crazy of late maybe 9 times out of 10 i get one.
 
Eh. Law of large numbers, lokizz. It'll even out. Just remember that next time you can't hit a zombie for shit.

Also, I wasn't PKed last night. I view this as a huge victory. How you doing, Chuckie?
 
I'm alive and well thank you very much. I'm fully loaded as well with lots of ap to burn.

Any recent Gore Corps sightings? I may as well continue to battle them.

Or any buildings near B.G. under attack that I can be of assistance in.

I'm fully prepared to kill, 'cade, heal, whatever needs to be done.

Whoa! Jake did you and I just get credit for killing the same Zombie?
I know there was only one zombie that we were fighting, how is this possible?

Since your last turn:
You fire at the zombie for 5 damage. They take a Headshot and die.
 
I got XP credit as well, good news for us I guess, seems like a system loophole though.

So I still have a bunch of ap, anybody else have a target to shoot or something to do?

He's got to be nearby, I'll look around a bit he's at 22 hp.

He's not in the adjacent Northern bldg either.

Or any of the bldgs. with 2 blocks of B.G.'s North side.

I did find one of his RRF buddies though, if you wanted to take on a full hp PKer.

We could do it with the three of us for sure, he's 2 away from B.G.
 
I hit him 2 or 3 times and had him at 2hp. I believe that Antigo got the killing blow.

I accidently shot at a bystander but was lucky to miss!

Good work gang, we made him swiss cheese in no time!
 
I dumped him before he hit the ground, I also said I'm sorry to the guy I grazed with an errant round!
You say "Sorry for firing at you aaabaaa, taking out the RRF member sleeping beside you!"
 
BTW the two bldg that vertically sandwich the one we just got this guy in have been housing RRF GC lately.

The last one I popped was in the one to the South and there were 3 to the North yesterday.

I'd scout into 'em but am down to 6 ap, if someone else does you can have a few shotgun blasts from me though.
 
What'd I tell ya'. She's been in there for 2-3 days.

This will be the third one I've shot (and hopefully hit) in 36 hrs.

We need Antigo's lucky hand, Spooge are ya' in for another?

Also might need you too Crotch, I'll go watch and fire off a few rounds.
