However, when I got in the car, I noticed something was missing, so I went back and saw it on the floor.
 
Why was this thread started in the first place? What 'flagged' him as a scammer? For all you know, your stuff is really on the way, he's just having problems communicating during a move.

He said he definitely sent it out, and 1st class mail ONLY takes 3 days (at worst case 4-5 days). If I have not received it yet, I was most definitely scammed.

Also, some of the trades sound too good to be true. I can't remember which, but this person just wanted a PS3 or Wii not too long ago from GameTZ, and why would they just trade it after a few days??
 
lol @ anyone who thinks he is just having problems communicating during a move. It is quite clear he planned this and ripped everyone off. Gave out fake DC # to buy him some time. I'm doing what I can to help law enforement with this douche. I hear ya though with being very timid of sending first now. Guess I'll take some trading time off.

No offense, dude, but if you're going to question why he got flagged, at least read just the opening post and a bit of the thread. A ton of people are getting screwed, he's using multiple names, he was supposedly trading the same game to different people, and he's "lost" multiple DC numbers. That pretty much confirms this isn't just a misunderstanding.

I paid for this bitch to send his part to me on a overnight and its been 2 weeks. Like I told anes or what ever the fuckers name is, if your coming on this thread to not help or at least sympathize with the 20 people that got scammed there stuff I say fuck off.

This is a very sensitive issue for us involved. Many of us have done trades before and never had this happen. When you don't have a disposable income, this can really hurt badly. We sell/trade games to get something we want because we cannot exactly just buy every brand new game out there. When we get hurt like this (like in my case of not receiving payment), I may have to heavily cut back on something to make up for it, and maybe go a few days without eating much to recover the cost.
 
There is/was a police officer on CAG dealing with the Minder situation (same type of thing, except we found out he was selling stolen items and ripping CAGs off). Their ID is PPD Cop. They are in AZ (I believe Scottsdale or near there). Maybe they could help in this situation.

To everyone that has been victimized by DP, I hope he/she gets theirs and everyone here gets their cash, games, stuff back. I know what it is like to get ripped off a lot of money and I am here to support you in any way.
 
damn this sucks for all the victims in this this situation, reminds me of the time i got scammed the same way via paypal from dragonreborn23 (Credit Card Reversal Funds, paypal didn't do shit stupid assholes reason why i stopped using it.)

I sympathize with everyone and this whole situation sucks. I recently started trading and also look at number of posts as well as itrader rating. ANother thing to note on # of posts is if they have alot are they all from bumping trade threads or do they actively participate in the Cag community. Best of luck.
On another note I think we should have a Cag meet and greet in Az.:bouncy:
 
I don't know if number of posts is completely fair. I understand that it does weed out some potential errors, but some of us don't have large quantities of time on CAG or have a lot to say on different subjects. I have a low number of posts, because I'm active in other forums and just don't spend a huge amount of time on CAG.

That sucks, I won my dispute. What was weird is that he paid me via Money Order for the first game no problem. Then he wanted to buy another game from me the next day, and that's when he tried to do the reversal.

If we didn't have this thread, you would just think, "Hmm, this is taking too long." Most of you wouldn't have even caught on for another week.

And all I was asking, was who was the first person to report a scam? Who was the one that 'flagged' him? It's a simple question.

I'm actually glad this thread was started because at least I know I wasn't the only one involved. Although I may have jumped to more conclusions that I should, but I am a little upset losing games others would have gladly paid for.
 
Well, I think if you steal more than $300 worth of stuff, it's a felony. So I'm pretty sure you guys will get some sort of payment. Especially if every one of you calls his PD once a day.
