Disk 2 of my copy of Valkyrie Profile isn't working and I was wondering if anyone here might have one or know of someone with one? I would like to just trade for that one disk that I need. If no one has that one disk, I might just have to trade with someone for the whole game. I really want this since I'm going for the A ending.

Well this might not be helpful, but if you are just trying to play the game you could pick up the psp version, it's 30 new so I'm sure it can be found cheaper then that somewhere.

As for the original ps1 version, the few prices I'm seeing for it range around the cost of a psp.

I'm only looking for the ps1 version since I don't have a psp. I have had the disk resurfaced, but it didn't work.
Get ahold of poster Work88, I think he has a copy.
You'll cut your arms & legs for it. At least you can try local GS/EB if they have it instock you can buy it & swap it ;)
Valkyrie Profile disc 2 only mint (the dogs got the rest of the game)
I'm tempted by that auction, but that line make me feel a little nervous.

By the way, is VP on that list at Gamecrazy of games you can't have them order from other stores?

dunno maybe the disc was in the system? I would BIN if I were you.

You can't order PSOne games from gamecrazy.

This is probably one instance where pirating is justifiable.

I had a similar problem with the game, playing on a PS1 (might've been upside-down) instead of PS2 fixed the problem, for the most part.

Hrm.. that sucks about your disk 2. I recently tried to buy a copy of the game from ebay. The person turned out to be fraudulent and I had to wait for ~2 weeks to get a refund from paypal. Where is Dirty Harry when you need him?

I have been thinking of just playing a copy of the disk I got off of the internet. I do have a ps1 that appears to have a modchip inside. Unfortunately, that system is finicky and sometimes have problems just getting it to play anything at all. It's a garage sale find. So if I want to go the route of playing a back up now and picking up a working copy later, I'll have to chip my ps2. I'm not exactly sure what type of modchip that I need though. I'd be looking a cheap one that auto detects what type of game is in there.

I'd like to trade for a real copy though and not have to bother with any mods right now. Unfortunately, I don't have much that would be a good trade for what I'm looking for. The only thing I can think of is a disk only copy of Lunar Eternal Blue or a complete copy (I think) of Dragon Warrior VII. I really don't want to have to pay $40 for a single ps1 disc.
