VC Predictions for March 5

Last week wasn't too bad, we'll give this a few more weeks to see how feasible it is. And polls are actually visible now.

Multiple selections are recommended, and if you choose "Other," please identify your choice in the thread. Poll will close on Friday of every week, on the assumption that if leaks ever occur, it will be on the weekend.

I'm predicting a big week of Excitebike, Galaga, Zelda II, and Sword of Vermillion.

Edit: I don't think public polls and multiple choice polls get along well, so post predictions in addition to the poll if you wanted to be eligible for the as-yet-mythical monthly prize.
 
I voted for double dragon on TG-16, but then I re-looked it when the page reloaded and it said double dungeon, so double dragon dungeon, excitebike, and zelda 2.

whatever! I've had my brawler fix with SoR, but I'd love to have DD.
 
When they give us NES or SNES versions of coin-ops, are we supposed to be happier to get that version, considering it's the Virtual Console and not the Live Arcade? With a couple exceptions, I just don't want the 'lesser' versions.

Of course, one of those exceptions is Contra, which XBLA has the 'wrong' version of, in my opinion. I sure as hell hope that Nintendo gets the NES Tecmo Bowl when the time comes, even if that means having to eliminate names and/or tweak team colors.
 
I think some people turn this into a "What I HOPE for..." thread.

I'm gonna say it every week until they come out--lol--but I really do believe they will give us a Star Fox game and a Metroid game soon!

But if not, I have a feeling that ExciteBike and/or Elevator Action will be out next week. Probably more games, but 1 or both will be one of them :p
 
I don't care for any of those right now. I just want my Super Mario 3, my Mortal Kombat II, Simpsons arcade, Primal Rage, Killer Instinct, Goldeneye... i'll get back to you when I think of more.

Mmmm Mortal Kombat II!!

Personally, I enjoy seeing the blood so I much rather get the Genesis version OR wait and hope XBLA gets it. Same as Simpsons (and X-Men!) arcade games.


And NewSc2, I wouldn't be surprised if the FF series are put on the VC eventually. This is Nintendo, they get off selling the same thing over and over......and over again.

SNES MK2 had blood. The first one didnt.

Splatterhouse was OK, but I can't see myself downloading it.

Hate to break it, but with Ocarina of Time announced last week, I doubt there is going to be another huge release like Mario RPG or Zelda II

my guess is they will try to play off Excitebike as if it were a big deal
