Battlefront shall be mine. Tack on the $5.00 off any ps2 game coupon from BB and that makes it $9.99. Not bad at all. Thanks TrustCompany.
Is Battlefront only dropping for PS 2, or XBox as well?
Why would it only drop for one system? It went GH/PH, it's down to $20 on XBox as well.

Thanks again, TSD

Yes, I know it dropped to $20 for all the systems. But I don't follow these weekly sales threads very often, which is why I was asking. It does happen from time to time (ie, the Circuit City $9.99 sale), though I'm not sure if that only applies to "clearance" sales (vs. weekly sales).

In any case, thanks TSD ;)

Thanks for the post as always. I actually see some stuff for me this week, especially with the $5 off coupon at Best Buy. Getaway 2 and Call of Duty, here I come. Probably Battlefront too! :D

Wow, RE:Outbreak File 2 for $15 after GGC already...I haven't seen a game drop in price so quick since Beyond Good and Evil. Doom 3 for the Xbox also doesn't sound too bad, just wish it would include the Collector's Edition.

Thanks for the heads up Dropout, just wish someone would have a sale on Battlefield 2.

Still no drop on God of War:cry:. I see they advertised Full Spectrum, so does that mean they have to carry a few copies of that game? Cause I know my store is sold out of it. Thanks for the heads up Dropout.

Since there isn't crap games shown in the ad for the $9.99 sale, I wonder if stores will get restocks on some of this as they try to shovel it out the door. I highly doubt it, though I could be surprised.

That's messed up, PS2 version of Battlefront is on sale but not the Xbox version? Thanks anyways Dropout, only thing that looks good is NCAA 06 from BB.

Lousy prices on NCAA06.
Circuit City used to be good for a $10 gift card or something similar.
They can keep their Coke products.

does this refer to the 9.99 clearance that has close to 2000 posts or is there a new/updated list? if so, is there a complete list? *asking any CC reps*

seeing full spectrum warrior for $10 on ps2 makes me want to buy it again... i love that game (no ps2 but the game is great... haha)
Thanks trust. No GC love again. :whistle2:(
Matthew
It can't be that bad, I mean GC owners had the deal of a lifetime when MP2 dropped to $15 at EB for a few hours! Now THAT was love that PS2 & Xbox owners have yet to feel.
Will MX vs ATV ever drop below $20?!? It's always tempting me at $30...
Yes it will. Glad I could help. ;)

It's the same sale.

Not to mention, GameCube has the best $10 game at Circuit City with Baten Kaitos.

Anyway, not much for me this week. =/ Normally I'd probably have gotten Outbreak 2 and CoD, but I got too many games at the CC Clearance already. =D

i agree this stinks badly

especally no deals on killer 7

Thanks as always for the early posting of the deals TSD. I thought something might've been up this week, but it's great to see you come through again. Your time is greatly valued in each week's postings.

Come on price drops on Area 51. Just rented this and I absolutely loved it. Really enthralling story, especially if you're into X-Files type stuff, conspiracy theories, etc. Just a blast to play. I see that The Getaway 2 is probably going to be GH soon. Now if only that would happen to Killzone, Ratchett and Clank, Sly 2, and Jak 3 already. I think I'll pass on it though. Might look into Call of Duty FH with the new PS2 coupon/one of my stashed GGCs, but probably naw. Didn't really like it when I rented it. Overall pretty weak again at BB, doesn't really surprise me anymore. CC might be something to look into with those 9.99 games again, but I'll probably pass on it too. I wonder if they added games to the list since I don't remember seeing some of those on the list.

I think RE:Outbreak File 2 had a MSRP of $29.99 so it's not that great of a plummet in price... still tempted at $15 after GGC or $5 coupon, despite the game's archaic communication system.

Area 51 has been $30 a few times, I know Best Buy and EB has sold it for $30 on sale.

It should go back on sale soon for a lower price.

And it would seem that Call of Duty: FH might go GH / PH?

nice deal on Getaway 2 is it still the same as first? Each time you get hurt it took forever to heal as you hand to lean against the wall!

Thanks as usual, I have a quick question for anyone: Can you price match GTA:SA at Circuit City getting it for $39.99 and get the $10 giftcard still?
Thanks as usual, I have a quick question for anyone: Can you price match GTA:SA at Circuit City getting it for $39.99 and get the $10 giftcard still?
YMMV. Sometimes that works, other times, it's one or the other.

Best bet would be picking it up at normal price with the gift card, then PM it.

One flaw would be if they mark it down by $10 and charge you $10 for the gift card. PM won't fly there.

I know I'm in a minority here. But does anyone have any idea if the Charlie & The Chocolate Factory free movie ticket deal is a target only deal or will be included at other stores?

How do you swing this? I tried it at a CC today with one of the $9.99 PS2 games and they told me they don't coupon match - they only match ads. I had suspected they might read the fine print and say it doesn't apply to clearance items but they didn't even get that far. They said "Best Buy wouldn't take one of our coupons, so we won't take theirs". I guess it is YMMV. If others have done it with this coupon, though, I might try again tomorrow at a different CC.

Is NCAA going to be all the hype of this week? If so, I might have to pick it up (even though I'm not a big fan of Collage football, but NFL only). Hmm...coke products with $59 items instantly or $35 from that one site...choices :wall:

:EDIT: What's the $59 worth of stuff? Are they all those items listed? If so, that kinda isn't worth paying $45 for after GGC.

Does Reward Zone certificates work with GGC?

Since today is the last day for this week's Best Buy's ad, I was thinking about getting RE: Outbreak 2 with $5 RZ and GGC (or the $5 PS2/PSP coupon), knocking it down to $9.99... If not, I guess I could settle for Pirates for $25 (PM Fry's ad and use the $5 RZ).

I'm assuming RZ should be treated like cash but this is my 1st time so I'm not sure.
Yes, it is treated as cash.
Matthew
thx for the info... one last question before I head out to BB.

Can you buy the game for regular price with a GGC discount and then walk over to the customer service area to PM?

I'm thinking about PM Fry's $29.99 ad for Pirates... will BB allow me to use GGC in the initial purchase and then PM after that? That would be sweet if i could get the game for $25... I know it won't work if you try to PM and use the GGC at the same time but perhaps there is a loophole if I use the GGC first and then PM later???

I believe what happens if you do that is that they adjust from the post GGC price, so you would actually end up spending a tiny bit ($0.50 + tax) more than if you hadn't used the coupon. That is, instead of:

($40 - $5) - ($40 - $30) - (.10 x ($40 - $30)) + tax =
($35 - $10 - $1) + tax =
$24 + tax (What you hope would happen)

You would actually be spending:

($40 - $5) - (($40 - $5) - $30) - (.10 x (($40 - $5) - $30))) + tax =
($35 - $5 - $0.50) + tax =
$29.50 + tax (What actually happens (as is my understanding))

Whereas, pming without using the GGC would yield:

($40) - ($40 - $30) - (.10 x ($40 - $30)) + tax =
($40 - $10 - $1) + tax =
$29 + tax

I've never tried it myself, but I believe I read a post from someone who did and that is what they wrote happened.
