and as for the spiderman 2 deal, i think its actually harder to buy a new psp without it rather than with it
 
I purchased a PSP about a month ago and it didn't have Spiderman 2 with it (neither did any of the other PSPs in the store). I think that the movie pack-in has been gone for a while (at least in my area).

Looks so far that trips to FYE for Destroy All Humans and Conker are in order, since there's no price breaks on 'em. Unless CompUSA decides to pull another GTA:SA pricing on us.

What does this Conker Plush look like?

If it's the one Gamestop had for display in the tank, that's a VERY nice bonus... I might even snatch it up even though I don't have an xbox.

Plus, can always buy the game, get the bonus, and return the game.

It looks a bit better when Gamestop had it on display, but maybe my memory is being wonky. I highly doubt it'll show on the receipt, so the game should be easy to return and I'll just pick it up again when it's dropped price.

It'll probably show up on the receipt as a $0.01 item, so that way they can track it in their inventory system, plus have it show up on the receipt.

Just like MK: DA and MAT did when Psi-Ops and The Suffering had them as pre-sell bonuses or w/purchase bonuses, and like they did with MAT2 for Area 51. When found seperately, they're $0.01 items in the computer system. I'm sure this is no different.

I wonder most nitendo games didn't get any discount price compare. :(

If you have a Gamestop near you, you might be able to see it in there.

The EB also had one up, but had to replace it with a cardboard cutout conker, since kids kept trying to steal the plush one. At GS, it's way up high on a top shelf.
 
Conker was the only non-DS game that really interested me this month, so I might have to bite on this deal if that's the plush you get.

But you guys are real assholes if you're going to buy the game and then return it without the plush. That's bullshit for people who are actually buying the game and want the plush.

I wouldn't buy the game and return it just for the plush. I'm just trying to see what the value the plush has, if I went to FYE (which I'm still planning to do, on my FYE credit) and get the game and decide to pick up the plush elsewhere.

If it's cool and I can get it elsewhere for something like $15 and get the game on my FYE credit, then I'm OK with that. If I couldn't get it elsewhere, then I'd entertain getting the game from CC with the plush for $50.

Looks like I'm FYE bound and ordering the plush online, since it does look kick-ass, though I want to see it in person at CC before I decide.

I was planning on getting Conker at Best Buy with a gift card I've been holding onto for six months, but suddenly that changed.
 
I'm glad these deals suck......because the videogame deals of week of June 12-19 has been hell to my pocketbook
 
I'm sick and tired of all the Conker stuff in the demos, media, etc being of the Saving Private Ryan level. And now there's the plushie. I'm still tempted to get it because it's a little bonus goody, but I'd rather Conker be dressed in his regular jacket.

Agree! I endup getting BLUE DS w/ Free Mario plus 2 ps2 games (x-men legend and Spiderman 2). Still have some more games to buy this week. :(

I think it has more to do with the multiplayer component (the whole squirrels vs. the tediz) because that is what is new with the game and the main marketing point for Rare.
 
At Toys 'R' Us the deal ends Saturday, but it isn't really a free Mario game. They make you pay $165 and you get Mario + a pro gamers kit(kit is $30 and game is $30, so its not that bad, though).

Yea $15 for Deception seems like a go for me. Not sure though, I haven't even played Deadly Alliance. Last MK was I played was MK4. I'll have to read into it first. Thanks TSD.
 
Now that MK: Deception for $15 after GGC/PSP PS2 coupons is hot. Which version of it do they have pictured in the ad TSD, since one BB near me I think still has a SE of the game so I woudlnt' mind getting that one or PMing at Fry's.
