If it is selling for $49.99, you are looking at an additional $2 bucks and change off, which will cover my gas money there.

If you do it after the fact, they do. At time of purchase, they only match it.

At least, that's been my experience with them here. Other CAG's, they get the 10% without a question at time of purchase, other ones (like me), they have to buy it and go back with the ad to get the 10% off.

Why are you surprised by this? Ubi games always drop extremely quickly in price a few weeks after release. Its happened to just about every current gen game in their catalog.

No kidding, but not THIS soon, it's usually a month after. You'd think Brothers in Arms: EiB would drop before Far Cry! Ubi games usually drop because they don't sell many copies, but from what I can tell, Far Cry has a huge online community.. weird. Maybe it's just a quick sale and back to $49.99.

But that actually makes it a good thing, since it means people that bought it on the day it was released can get it price-matched.

Target does seem to do that with a lot of games though, they'll have it on sale really cheap within a month of when the game is released. They had Kingdom Under Fire on sale for $28.88 the week it was released (actually, 2 weeks before it was released, since it was still in the ad even though the game was delayed), although that game was only $40 at release.

Go to CC with the Target ad, have them price match it, get an extra 10% off....take that copy with my farCry reciept (SP?) from BestBuy and "return" it.

Its a great plan I tells ya!

Why don't you just take the ad and your Best Buy receipt to Best Buy and have them give you the extra 10% off?
