Thanks

I think I will get Wal-Mart to price match Soul Calibur 2 for GameCube. I have been waiting to get the game for someone else, but not at the regular price.
Thanks Wario64.

I'm still trying to figure out your avatar...
It is from Wario Ware Inc. GBA game. Great game.

Wow, Target has some really good deals. Soul Calibur 2 (PS2 or GC), SSBM (GC), and Max Payne 2 (PS2 or Xbox), $26.88 each.

I have never personally had any luck getting BestBuy to PM and allow the GGC coupon, but anyone whose local BB's policies are more lax should definitely jump on these.

What's the regular price for Max Payne 2 at Target? Might be a good raincheck opportunity. Even if it's down to $39.99, that's still 33% (way better than the 23% ones I have from $49.99 games).

I just got it at the Blockbuster sale for $20, though (with the manual and not a scratch on it).

Aaaah. I wish that Everything or Nothing deal was on the PS2 as well. I might pick up the GC version, but I've heard the controls aren't quite as good, and also I got about halfway through the PS2 version after two rentals and still have it on my memory card. Decisions, decisions.....

I believe the Target ad only had Max Payne 2 for the PS2 on sale for $26.88

Stinks that the Xbox version of SC II wasn't included in the $26.88 sale either.

The Gamecube 8Mb (megabit) 3rd party (like Nyko) has 123 blocks (vs. the official Nintendo 251). These cards are worth about $10 each.

there's a five dollar off coupon for champions of norrath at www.getintothegame.com

you should be able to purchase at bb, then return and pricematch it to get it under $30 bucks. if for whatever crazy reason you are able to get them to take the GGC as well, that would knock it down under $25... but honestly i don't see that happening.

The ad has the PS2 box art, but right below it it says "also for Xbox"

Doh, you're right. Very strange that they didn't do the normal multi-platform sale thing and put PS2 * XBOX in the black bar to the left of the boxart. I wonder if including XBOX was a late decision or something.

the absence of any stand-alone ninja gaiden deals during its release week is upsetting, distressing, depressing and a pox on humanity

anyone know if Metal Gear Solid: TS going to make it on the release date in Circuit City? I searched the site, but they don't have it. I can't get it on the other place because I have a 10 dollar gift card at CC.

There's a small goof in the GameCube prices listed in this thread. NFL Street and 007: Everything or Nothing are $49.99 and not $39.99. It's perfectly understandable that the mistake was made since Best Buy often has a confusing design when it comes to which price tags apply to which product groupings in the ads. I sure was looking forward to getting 007 at $35 though...pretty disappointed about that... :(

Oops, sorry about that...I hate it when they do that. I think I noticed it too but it looked like it was part of the $39.99 price tag
